Elf Date 2: A Spicy Elf Date LitRPG

Rhett Freeman has learned that having an elf woman living with him has its advantages. Not only did Brinna bring him dinner when his boss made him work over alone, but she managed to set him up on a date with a drow woman so out of his league that he had to pinch himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.
The high seas awaited. Not only was his date gorgeous, but she was a fantasy buff, just like him. After a quick meal, they set off for an island to seek treasure. There was a catch though. The crew told them that the island was cursed, but the prospect of treasure and companionship saw them ignoring the warning. Once they were distracted, the crew left them behind, forcing them to end the curse before they starved. One thing was for sure, the date should prove interesting.

Through two books, this series is making little sense. Sure, it is setting up for some grand love between the MC and Brinna, the slave woman he freed. But after these two books, all we have is the MC going on various dates with different elf women, and sometimes getting sex as part of those dates.

Definitely not the usual dungeon diving yarn
The MC and his female advisor have in depth discussions about self worth, male/female relationships and what people seek in partners. Sure, he also goes on dungeon dives scripted as dates. He fights monsters, protects a courrier and meets a potential girlfriend, while his feelings for his advisor become more intense.
A quite unexpected departure from the usual sword and sorcery as well as more erotic stories. On another note, though the MC is growing more confident in relating with women in the elven world, he’s not applying anything to his earth life as he’s still suffering under a wanker of a boss in a boring job.

Some improvements, but some things worse
SO. There gets to be more character depth. The MC has obvious self esteem issues hindering him from getting with who it feels he should get with. That being said the author really makes use of the system so do some interesting things.
I would've upgraded it to 4 stars from the last book, but again it just ends and coupled with the way more editing errors I couldn't justify it. I'm slightly more hooked and the books are quick reads so I might continue.

Rhett would like to settle down find his soul mate an live happily ever after.
Rhett continues to let Brianna live with him at his apartment while she figures out what she wants to do with her life . He lets her be his advisor for his love life using the elf date app . Match making his dates . He hooked on elf's now just need to find the one . He was hoping for Brianna to be the one but thing's always get in the way between them . recommend reading excellent series .

Book 2 was Fun
Okay Rhett, was having fun on Elf Date, but man watching him bumbel through the move scenes chasing Sarina was a riot! What an ending with the paparazzi! Okay on to book four !

I've really enjoyed the first 2 books so far. It's a really good premise and a joy to read. I'm looking forward to book3.
