Adina D. Grey is a USA Today and International Bestselling Author. She was born and raised in Italy so it's no surprise she has a huge addiction to coffee, dogs, and books.
Her book addiction and passion for travelling led her into the creative world of words where she writes, blogs, and beta reads. Her writing covers various sub genres and tropes but she's a sucker for a HEA, this is a cliffhanger free zone.
When she's not writing or reading you can find her entertaining her toddler and husband, and enjoying family life.
This book was filled with so much emotion. I could not put it down, I became so invested in this story and the characters. This book was raw and amazing.
This was a first-time author for us and we enjoyed our first read by them. This is not my typical kind of book I tend to shy away from the bad-boy rocker books but, we are glad we tried something out of our comfort zone. The characters were great I enjoyed the plot which turned into an interesting read that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Emma and Jax as a couple had beautiful chemistry off the charts. The story took us a bit to get into but, once the story took off it was engaging with the twists and turns that story took us on and we loved it. It was hot sexy, and heartfelt.
I love a good read filled with lots of emotion and twists we did not see coming. I would pick up more books by this author as it was quite an enjoyable read.
Em and Jax—he and his band are a rising star on the music scene and she’s the organizer for bands for their label. They had met before at his BDSM club, but she was disguised and used her middle name rather than her first name, so he couldn’t quite place where they’d met. They get together, have lots of angst, get pregnant, and finally end up together. Both have horrible childhoods, and that fuels their insecurities about relationships. This book needs a heavy edit and needs to tone down the preachiness about found family. For the last half of the book, then send of each chapter sounds like it might be drawing the book to a close. I think the concept has potential, but it needs a lot of work.

This is the first in a new series, and this is Jax and Emma’s story. Jax has been hardened by growing up through he foster system, and Emma is feisty, and disrupts his life when she comes into it. No spoilers, this is a must read! This is a well written easy to read, slow burn, with family, friendships, emotions, challenges, engaging and realistic characters, unexpected twists, second chances, undeniable chemistry, romance, and instant love, which leads to a spicy, unpredictable, entertaining, and heartfelt addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I really wanted to enjoy this read. I was pulled in by Jax and Emma, curious about their story, and the connection that seemed to be there. Unfortunately I had to DNF at 43%. As the story progressed I was losing the connection I had with them. The story weaves some BDSM play, in a club, "Daddy" and a public scene that just didn't click for me. I had enjoyed the first read I had by this author but this didn't hit the same mark and have a feeling that the others in the series will be similar if they revolve around owning this club.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
3.5/5⭐️ Jax and his band wins the attention of Angel and is offered a contract with SMD. As part of the contract, Emma starts to work closely with the band.
As time goes by, Jax soon realises that Emma is “the girl” he was insanely attracted to during New Year’s. That soon leads to a whirlwind romance which is unfortunately marred by misunderstandings and external sabotage.
I loved how persistent Jax was to clear things up with Emma face to face. While he may have grown up not being loved and was trouble when younger, he is truly a great example of how a life can be transformed with his found family’s support and Emma’s steadfast love for me.
I DNF'd, first and foremost. There was great potential for this story, and I was able to get the gist; I actually loved it at first, but then things went so far off. There were plot holes, time skipping, and things that made no sense. I really loved the secret identity trope that was going there in the very beginning and the guessing game that Jax was playing trying to place Emma. I'm sure there was so much more to embrace in this book I just... couldn't finish it. I was getting aggravated. I'm giving it 3 stars because I was really digging the story.
Harmonizing Hearts is the first book in the Darkest Symphony Rock Band series and gets us off to an excellent start. A slow burn with the realistic characters enduring emotional challenges. Emma and Jax have a beautiful chemistry and I enjoyed this heartfelt journey. Steamy slow burn romance, plot twists, second chances and well written spice make this a captivating read. I look forward to what comes next in the series.
It was off to a great start and i enjoyed to see the story between Emma and Jax unfold. Not my usual read but glad i signed up for it. Read some nice twists in there that i didnt expect. Never read one of her books and i enjoyed reading this one. Would like to read more of the rest of the people in the next ones as well
This book was amazing. Jax and Emma are great together, the chemistry between them is so good I felt it. I love the whole family bond all the characters have. This begins slowly but once the spice hits it really hits. This book is short but full of emotions and great family support. Great story, great characters, great book.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the chemistry between our main characters: Emma and Jax. It definitely took some twists and turns throughout this but it was definitely worth the read.
I definitely look forward to reading more from this world. I read the novella previously for this series and I can't wait to see where we go to next!
I received this an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
Harmonizing Hearts is book #1 in the Darkest Symphony Series, and what a great start! I loved Emma & Jax. Their story was emotional and heartfelt, while their chemistry was off the charts🔥 I’m looking forward to what Adina brings us with book #2.
Great book, never read a book by Adina before and I am really happy this is a new series because I can’t wait to read more ! Bit of a slower start but I don’t mind that because it really picked up 😜 love the character development. Great read. Would recommend to a friend for sure
Ms. Grey is off to a great start with the second book in the Darkest Symphony series with Jax and Emma’s story. They were great characters and with the steam and twists this book was a big page turner. I’m looking forward to more to come in this series.
Emma and Jax’s story unfolds beautifully with a slow burn romance that kept me hooked. The emotional depth and unexpected twists made the plot engaging from start to finish. If you enjoy character-driven stories with plenty of emotional highs and lows, this one is worth the read!
This story is soooo friggin cute. I just love Jax and Emma. This storyline is so down to earth that you feel like your apart of the story. I feel like in one of the guys. I just love everything about the book. I can't wait to see who falls next.
While the story plot is good, the grammar is horrible and the story just kept being dragged out. I basically forced myself to finish it. If it was edited and didn't drag everything out it would be much better.
WOW! Harmonizing Hearts is a fantastic read. Jax and Emma are burning up the pages in this new series by Adina D. Grey. Their chemistry is beyond hot! These two are on fire 🔥 The way Adina tells their story is incredible. Her words will draw you into the story and once you're there you'll be quickly turning the pages to read what happens next. This is one new series I'm really looking forward to reading.
