Sophia

In front of the world, I'm the loud, funny best friend. The perfect eldest daughter. The talented journalist. The one who plays the game but never lets her heart get involved. But underneath, I’m a mess—hiding from the one thing I fear love.

Then I meet Lorenzo Mancini, the infamous billionaire player. Writing an article about him was supposed to be just another assignment, but deal by deal, we’re pulled into a game neither of us should entertain. He's not who I expected, and the more time we start to spend together, the more he makes me question everything.

Falling for him would be a mistake. We’re a disaster in the making.

But what if, after all the hiding, love is the one risk worth taking?

Lorenzo

I was raised to carry the Mancini legacy, trained to think like a businessman and never look back. Love? That’s for people who know what it is—I never did. I fill the emptiness with games and women, avoiding the this isn’t the life I want.

Then Sophia Evans walks into my life. She’s smart, stubborn, and stronger than anyone I’ve met. Working with her on that article was just another excuse to play a game, another way to get closer to something I knew I couldn’t have. But soon, the lines blurred, and before I knew it, it started to become something deeper.

Wanting her should be the last thing on my mind. I could never be the man for her.

But what if, after all the running, this is the destiny I never saw coming?

Broken Deal by Yinn Quirós
4/5⭐
3/5🌶️

"You once said the idea of someone taking care of you felt strange, but that's where you're wrong. Because I'm her, Blue. I'm right here, with my heart and arms open, ready to take care of you."

This was my first book by this author, and I enjoyed it! When I signed up for the ARC, I was drawn in by the blurb and the interesting tropes. What makes this story stand out is that both main characters are players. Sophia and Lorenzo share a one-night stand, and a year later, they bump into each other again at his birthday party. It turns out, Sophia's best friend is engaged to Lorenzo's cousin. They have not forgotten that night, especially Lorenzo, who makes it clear that he wants Sophia and is willing to do whatever it takes to win her over.

Sophia, the oldest sibling, carries burdens and responsibilities on her shoulders. Her backstory is heartbreaking, and my heart went out to her. She’s always joking around and seems cheerful, but inside, she’s struggling and worn out. Because of her past, she finds it hard to let people care for her and doesn't believe in love. Lorenzo is a successful businessman who’s always trying to meet his father’s expectations. He’s spent his life focused on running the family business and hasn’t had time for serious relationships—until Sophia comes along and shakes things up.

The banter between Sophia and Lorenzo throughout the book is so much fun! I loved how Lorenzo playfully teased Sophia and how he always tried to push her buttons. Their tension and chemistry are intense, and when they finally agree to be friends with benefits, things heat up! I appreciated how Lorenzo was always there for Sophia and supported her. Slowly, he helps her open up and fall for him. While I wasn’t a huge fan of the third act and felt frustrated with Lorenzo when he hurt Sophia, I did like how he recognized his mistake and took the time to make things right. Watching them grow together, both as individuals and as a couple, was rewarding.

Overall, I genuinely enjoyed this book and found myself interested in the side characters. I have a feeling that some of them will get their own stories one day, and I can’t wait to read them!

"In such a short period of time, Lorenzo has become my constant. The one who, without even trying, makes me feel seen, safe, and cherished in ways I never thought possible."

Arc Review for Broken Deal 💙

Another amazing read & another swoon-worthy billionaire to fall for from Yinn Quirós!

Just like the first book in the series, I absolutely adored these characters and their stories! I’m slightly a little more biased towards book one, i love love loved, book one but these characters in this book, their experiences and their story all felt so realistic, and so relatable in the way they were represented and their ways of thinking.

Sophia & Lorenzo’s chemistry and tension was there form the very beginning and it was actually so refreshing to read a romance where BOTH characters are the reformed players and we’re both in the same boat and had similar experiences.

I equally enjoyed that not only was this one a spicy romance, but it had emotional and intellectual depth as the story progressed! I felt all the feelings reading this book and recommend picking it up if you’re ever in need of a good read!

What to expect in Broken Deal:
💙 forced proximity
💙 billionaire x journalist
💙 reformed players
💙 one night stand
💙 restaurant owner x journalist
💙 he falls first & harder
💙 second chance
💙 playboy x playgirl

Thank you to Yinn & her team for allowing me to be an arc reader for this new release & providing me with an advanced reader copy of Broken Deal in exchange for an honest review! I received an ARC copy of Broken Deal and all thoughts & comments on this review are my own!

⭐ARC Review⭐
Wow, I could not put this book down! I read it in less than 24 hours.

This is a story about the evolution of two emotionally unavailable players falling hopelessly for each other.

Both MCs have epiphanies together and separately on what they long for in life and learn to believe they deserve to love and be loved.

Also, the spice scenes were SPICING!

A charming love story about two people who initially have trouble committing to each other because their fathers traumatized them 😖😅

Sophia is a firecracker! She’s very committed to her work, but has lost sight of her dreams. I really appreciated how the author portrayed the hopelessness that comes with feeling like your career has stalled. It was very relatable—the feeling of being stuck, and then, in the struggle of just trying to get by, you forget what the long-term goal even was, and eventually you get too comfortable with where you are. It’s heartbreaking and really made me emphasize with her character.

Lorenzo is a man of ACTION. He’s such a protector, always making Sophia feel safe and consistently proving how much he cares about her. Also, the fact that he read ALL of her work?! 😫 UGH, I love when people are supportive of their artistic loved ones and actually take the time to engage with their art. Sophia can have a real attitude sometimes, but he likes how mean she is 😭😭 “There’s nothing I love more than the fire of a woman who pushes back. Insults only make me more eager to provoke a reaction. There’s nothing like the thrill coursing through my body right now at the bite of her voice” (45). I love how they both test each other and the tension that builds because of it.

I also love that they’re so mesmerized by each other, and how that admiration inspired their very fitting nicknames—Blue and Ace.

“She’s ready to push me off a cliff, but all I can focus on is the wild intensity of them, a mix of danger and beauty that’s impossible to ignore. ‘Your eyes are so…blue,’ I find myself saying, mesmerized” (47).

“You can tell he’s in his element. He radiates calmness, his face completely unreadable. The way he moves so effortlessly, looking at his hand without betraying a single emotion, and the way his piercing gaze follows the cards the dealer places, is mesmerizing” (118).

Their relationship is packed with tension—I loved it! Sophia brings the fire while Lorenzo brings the passion. They’re a perfect match.

In terms of the writing, there were a couple of things I really enjoyed. First, the descriptions!! The author provides just enough details to immerse readers without overwhelming us with fluff. For example: “His woodsmoke cologne envelope me as I’m trying to mentally kick those memories away from me. The smell of pine and cedar hits me first. Such a rich, earthy aroma, like the comforting embrace of a roaring fire. It’s faintly sweet, too, with a hint of burning maple. The scent perfectly suits him—strong, manly, dangerous, and surprisingly sweet” (93). The sights, the smells, the vibes—everything is painted vividly to bring the story to life.

Also, the way that they describe each other’s qualities and the way it makes them feel makes the characters feel real and makes the romance almost tangible. There were some very poetic moments that just made me swoon: “…whatever it takes, I’m going to be the one to make her laugh like this more often. I want to see her eyes shine and spark with pure joy. Sophia’s laugh is something the world should hear. It’s the kind of laugh I want to take a piece of and tuck into my cold heart. It’s the kind of laugh that makes my problems go away. It’s the kind of laugh I can find myself falling for, simply because it comes from her” (208). They’re so obsessed with each other—THIS is what I need from a romance novel.

Secondly, I really appreciated the way domestic abuse is discussed, with empathy for all victims, including the children. Lorenzo makes Sophia feel validated, and she shows compassion toward her mother for being too scared to get their family out of that situation. It was a very thoughtful and nuanced approach.

There were a few aspects of the writing that I wasn’t a fan of. Most notably, there were many instances of “telling” rather than “showing,” especially with Sophia’s slightly toxic behaviors. For example, when she refuses to let herself be vulnerable around her besties, she outright explains why she chooses to keep things bottled up and puts on a sunshine smile instead (54). I wanted to see this play out. I don’t need the author to tell me so early on in the story that this is what she does and the why behind it. Later on, Sophia tells us that she seeks challenges as a way of returning to her complicated past (123). Again, I don’t want the text to analyze her character for me, let ME do that. Part of the fun of reading is uncovering the layers of the characters as you delve deeper into their story.

Another thing that really disappointed me is the fact that this is called the Windy City billionaire series, but so little of this book actually takes place in Chicago. Most of the story occurs in another country and two different states. I just wish the setting was incorporated more into the plot.

The characters’ movements could’ve been varied a little more. Lorenzo was constantly fisting his hair, and so were some of the other male characters, which made the whole thing very repetitive.

As much as I enjoy Taylor Swift’s music, I do not want to read her lyrics in a book 😭 Granted, I only saw it once (probably because I don’t know that many of her lyrics), but even that felt like too much 🙃

Personally, I’m not a fan of when romance books talk about romance books. Mostly, characters will say things like, “oh, that only happens in romance books.” I guess it’s supposed to feel like a cool, breaking the fourth wall moment, but it just feels lazy. Also, people don’t really talk like that in real life. I have never heard someone clarify that we’re not living in a fictional novel.

The ending was kind of ridiculous. You’re telling me that in 2025, Miss Girl did not have a strong password?!?! PLEASE.

Overall, this is a romance story full of fire and passion, and I was hooked. Sophia and Lorenzo complement each other in all the best ways! I just wish the Windy City setting had played a greater role in the plot, and that the story had given more show than tell when it came to character flaws.

Thank you very much to Yinn Quirós for the ARC of this book! This is my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Let's talk about this book: I absolutely love it !!!!!!

Sophia is such an independent woman who is trying to find a future not only for her but also for her mom. Someone who does have time for nothing else in life besides her mom and her friend. Until Lorenzo comes invading her life and flips it upside-down. Lorenzo is a man who knew what he wanted and went for it, who did not have time to waste on other things. But then he met Sophia, and his world turned around and gave it another meaning. I absolutely felt in love with the relationship they created and how the romance was built. Their personalities, their interactions, the way they acted with each other, the things he did for her. I was swooning♥︎

So first off, I would like to thank the author because I received an ARC copy of this book and I’m so grateful. I received an ARC copy of the first one and absolutely loved it so I was really looking forward to this one and it did not disappoint!! I will say Damien and Aria’s story is still my favorite but Lorenzo and Sophia’s is very close. I loved how they kinda were like dislike to lovers. I feel like Sophia had her walls up and she was not looking for any relationship so she tried her hardest to distance herself from Lorenzo and not like him. But, they have this type of instant attraction where they’re just drawn to each other. I also loved how they hooked up and then they didn’t see each for a year and both of them still remembered the other person and talked about the other person to their friends!! They’re just meant to be!! I also appreciated how throughout the story we learned more about Lorenzo and Sophia. Also how Sophia was doing a lot of stuff to protect and take care of her mother. I thought that was so beautiful, but I was glad when she finally kind of started to do stuff for herself. Honestly, Lorenzo was just there for everything and it was cute to see how he started to develop real feelings for Sophia and wanting to see things move further than just friends with benefits. I loved the ending and I’m looking forward to the next book so we can see our next couple but also just to see how Sophia and Lorenzo are doing.

I've finished reading my ARC copy of 'Broken Deal' written by Yinn Quirós. This is a spicy billionaire romance and it's part two in the 'Windy City Billionaires' series, but can be read as a standalone.
This book will release on March 19th.

"Why do I have the feeling I just made a deal with the devil? And worse, why am I looking forward to it?"

This story got me hooked from the first page. The prologue is written genius, it really it. After the prologue all I wanted was to know what would come next and how the story would unfold. And I have not been dissapointed. Especially with the plottwist right before the ending.

"You do not cry. You do not yield. You do not show weakness. You have to be strong. Normal. Fake happy. You've done it for years now, what's one more day?"

This story is about Sophia and Lorenzo. They are both players and both have a reputation and that's because both of them have sh*tty backgrounds in their own way.
What would happen if they are brought together and if they make deal after deal, which makes them become closer, finding out that neither of them is what was initially thought.

"There was never any question, baby. You and I were always destined for each other."

This story is about being insecure, about feeling unworthy, about letting your upbringing define you. It's about letting your responsibilities chose the direction of your life and not thinking about your own desires. It's about walls, about masks, about pretending to be someone your not. It's about finding out that you can't do it all alone and find ways to trust others. It's about breaking and healing and everything in between.

This story was amazing, I really enjoyed it. I do definitely recommend it and I give it five stars.

Broken Deal is an absolutely captivating second installment in Yinn Quirós’s Windy City Billionaires series. From the first page, I was hooked by the chemistry between Sophia and Alessandro—two strong-willed, charismatic characters who are impossible not to love. Their banter, emotional depth, and undeniable connection kept me turning the pages late into the night.

Yinn Quirós does an incredible job balancing romance, humor, and real-life struggles, making the story feel both magical and relatable. If you love romances with heart, passion, and unforgettable characters, this book is a must-read!

cant wait for the next one !

I loved Lorenzo and Sophia’s story.
Lorenzo is just such a man, and you can see the way he changes and becomes who he really is when he’s around Sophia. Sophia is such a strong woman who is trying to hold everything together, the love she has for her mum and the relationship they share is so heart warming. The way Lorenzo also wants to share her load and to defend her from her b**ch of a sister to help her is ultimate boyfriend material.

Also, their nicknames for each other fit them both perfectly and I think they’re so much better than the usual you’ll come across in other books.

Im also so hopeful for book 3 because we need Isabella’s story.

Thanks for the arc yinn quifós

Spoiler review cus the book has been released

So I do want to say I like this book but unfortunately it’s not my favorite book of the year - it’s alright ( I mean it took me 4 days to read because my mind wasn’t really fully into it ( which is kinda sad) I did enjoy it especially the ending. I also loved Enzo and Sophia’s chemistry

The fact he calls her blue and she calls
Him ace is so cute

I liked Sophia and I liked Lorenzo
I’m still not sure if Lorenzo is Latinx or not cus the author is Latinx ( I’m just unsure ) I wish the author had made it clear !! - he may be though!! So this may be a interacial romance ( I know he’s Italian though) maybe both characters are white

Anywyays The premise of this book is these 2 hooked up the year before on his bday and they meet once again a year after they slept together ( at his bday dinner) - cus Sophia’s best friend is engaged to Lorenzo’s cousin ( and her best friend wants to set them up.

Anyways she ends up having to write and article on him!!! And so they strike a deal that she spends time with him for the summer and then they strike another deal That they will be friends with benefits .

This from Lorenzo’s first chapter set the scene for it to be a he falls first romance ( and it really is)

They are similar in many ways - they both love quotes tv shows ( from the 90s) they are both players , ( fuck boy x fuck girl , they both are living lifes that aren’t making them happy . They are both faking it til the make it( happines wise that is)

They both have trauma from growing up ( I mean Sophia had an abusive dad and had to look after her mum and sister when her dad died ( thank god) cus her dad was an abusive alcoholic. HER sister also stole her bf from her ( HE WAS CHEATING ON SOPHIA WITH HER SISTER. Lorenzo’s dad was kinda controlling and made him basically promise to live out his legacy ( even now his dad is dead he’s stuck living out his legacy .

At the end of the day he just wants to be a chef . Yes he owns hundred of restaurants around the world but he just wants to cook yet he’s stuck being a board member of an exclusive billionaires club ( that just reminds of that club in the kings of sin and twisted series ) it’s like that tbh . He doesn’t want to even be a board member .OH THE VANHALLEN CLUB OR SOMETHING BUT .. it’s not called that in this book cus it’s not that club

Sophia is working as a junior editor and having to do her bosses work ( cus he keeps giving it to her) her boss is kinda abusive and screams at her like eww - I would not be able to work somewhere where my bosss screamed at me ( cus I hate conflict tbh and also cus I would cus every time and probably be fired for crying .

I’m not the biggest fan of billionaire romances but this was enjoyable. - I mean I don’t remember when I signed up for at arc but I am glad I did .

I did skip the spice cus I wasn’t feeling the spice ( recently it’s been a hit or miss for me!! Like idk why!!!I do love spicy books though

Things I liked about the book !!
- the fact Lorenzo cooks
- how much he likes her
- the banter

This book gutted me in all the best ways possible. I am seriously in shock over the emotional journey it took me on. The emotions you feel are so big and strong, completely wholesome and healing. Sophia & Lorenzo’s story is incredibly impactful.

The emotional connection between these two, while reluctant at first, is truly unparalleled. Talk about emotional healing and growth, leaps and bounds are made during their time together.

Sophia is used to doing things on her own. She has been burned before, so she has a rule when it comes to men - only once. This helps keep people at a distance so they can never get close enough to hurt her; she doesn’t believe in love. In a lot of ways, this matches Lorenzo’s feelings on relationships and love. However his issues center more around trust than anything else.

After one night together Lorenzo is obsessed. Fast forward a year later, these two are reunited for the first time due to mutual friends. Lorenzo is enamored by Sophia’s loyalty, talent, and drive. I love the way he constantly shows up for her. He is relentless in his pursuit - so much so he persuades her boss that she is only journalist he will allow to write an article about him and his successes. In comes the forced proximity and the many deals that are made between the two. The banter with these two is top notch - it is dripping with sarcasm that adds so much tension. Sophia is sassy, always has comeback, and cares deeply for others. She is fiercely loyal and so good for Enzo; she handles him well and really makes him work for it. Their chemistry is explosive, the build up is totally worth it with these two for the spicy scenes that Yinn totally delivers on.

Both Sophia & Lorenzo have trust issues stemming from family dynamics - which they bring into the relationship. However, this is not a hinderance at all. They support, compliment, and empower one another. They both feel immense pressure in different ways, resulting in their struggle to see their own self worth and it is a beautiful thing to witness as they find themselves within and out of the context of their relationship.

This is a must read. Two people afraid to fall in love and open themselves up to trust another, find acceptance and solace in someone when they least expected it. It is truly an emotionally impactful story about the beauty of vulnerability and acceptance, encompassing the power of true love.

Thank you so so much Yinn Quiros for the early copy! I feel incredibly blessed to have received an early copy of not only Broken Pieces, but now Broken Deal. The Windy City Billionaires Series is amazing; I am so excited for Isa and Matteo’s story next.

✨Friends with Benefits

✨Sworn-Off Relationships
✨Reformed Players

4.5 ⭐️

When I tell you this one was GOOD!! The banter between Sophia and Lorenzo was top tier, the tension was insane, and the connection was undeniable and on fire!!

Sophia and Lorenzo are very similar—they’ve both sworn off relationships, are total players and love the game, and love to quote 90’s tv shows. Sophia has been assigned to write an article on Lorenzo and to make things easier, and better, Lorenzo suggests she follows him for the summer so she can have plenty of material to work off of. However, the tension is brewing and things turn into a summer fling, friends with benefits situation. As time goes on, more deals are made, and broken along the way.

These two are perfect for each other. Sophia and Lorenzo thrive on taking care of other people and have the opportunity to do that for each other. They’re able to learn about one another on a deeper level, which in turn, makes them fall in love with one another even harder. I love the tension and chemistry between Sophia and Lorenzo.

The strong character development between both characters was amazing to read as both of their lives turned upside down. Both Sophia and Lorenzo didn’t know what true love was, didn’t believe in it, because they both had rough upbringings. However, watching them grow together, individually and as a couple, was beautiful. I felt like so much happened in this book, but it all came together to create a wonderful, swoon-worthy, banter-filled love story.

Shoutout & huge thank you Yinn Quiros for the eARC!!

This is the second book in Yinn's Windy City Billionaire's series. You do not need to read the first one, but truly you want to! While I loved the first book (so much I applied and received an ARC for this one) this book really got me. Two player's, playing each other and in the end they get played by their hearts! So often it's a player being reformed by a "nice girl" and I liked the level playing field of this set up. Sophia really got me in the first book - and so I was so excited to get to know her more. She's the oldest daughter taking care of everyone but herself and putting on a happy facade for everyone. Lorenzo is the only son living the life his father expect him to. Ultimately they break down those walls and become the people they were truly meant to be! Everything about this book was on point - from the artwork, the dialogue, the supporting characters, the cameo appearances of last books MC's - so put this on your TBR and go read the first! There is some open door spice and a few other triggers you'll want to check the TW's for.

ARC REVIEW:

I have SUCH mixed feelings about this book. I love a series where it’s a friend group and we get all of the stories, and this is giving that for sure! I found the MC’s inner monologues to be extremely redundant and I found myself wanting to skim them. How many different ways can we say that they hate their jobs and don’t know how to love someone? Also, having both characters realize they’re meant to be so early on, but then dragging it out for so long made this read slow for me. The story itself had some elements that I liked. Lorenzo was charming, but I didn’t get any of that “playboy” energy from him as he was described. I liked the trip to panama, when they were in kentucky, and the ending.

3.5 stars. I see why people loved it!! It just didn’t hit for me the way I had hoped - would read more from this author for sure!

Lorenzo Mancini the man you are 😮‍💨

The way I fell in love with Sophia & Enzo from the jump with the banter and tension between these two??? Ugh I never wanted it to end. This man wants nothing more than to please his woman and I'm all here for it 🙂‍↕️

I truly loved the growth that these two as individuals had throughout this book but also together as a couple. Sophie truly is that girl and is such a strong fmc that I aspire to be as tough and brave as she is in her day to day life. This was one of those books that gave me all the heart felt feels & had me teary eyed a few times but my god did I love these two 😭

Thank you again Yinn for the e-arc (all thoughts are my own) and for allowing me to embrace your book babies once again 🫶🏼

Ok where to start !!!

I loved it . Romance novels tend to follow the same ole story line . BUT this was such a refreshing read . I won’t give tooo much away ;).

First off the BFF trio was amazing . They all complimented each other and are the definition of “ we listen and we don’t judge “.

Opening up the book with the one night stand had me dying ( in a good way) lol. She was cocky and fierce LOVED IT !! I fought myself chuckling .

When she met lover boy and the games started it was easy going , funny , and realistic , their banter was great and EVENTHOUGH they mentioned their feelings a few times it never felt like a record player playing the same sad song !.

They healed their souls , found themselves and their ever after :)

First book read by the author and I will hands down read another ❤️

I truly love this series so much 💙 Yinn, girl, you knocked it out of the park once again!

Lorenzo & Sophia *sigh* I loved each of them individually with the glimpses we got in Broken Pieces and that just increased tenfold in Broken Deal. Talk about black cat x golden retriever.. these two are flawless!

Once again, there are ao many pieces of each I can relate to ao much. Especially Sophia with her older sister syndrome and needing to act like everything is perfect all the time. She is giving "I cry a lot but I am so productive" energy, and I absolutely feel that.

I just enjoy this series and the writing style so much. I can't wait for the next 💙

Thank you to Yinn and her team for this ARC!! :)

I LOVED Sophia and Lorenzo’s story! It was so easy to fall in love with them. Obsessed with the way they met, their friendship, their banter, their jobs, etc. Might I say, I may like their story more than Aria and Damian’s!! 🤭

Sophia, independent woman who doesn’t need a man and Lorenzo, who would do anything to make sure Sophia’s taken care of!!! What could go wrong!! Sophia getting taken care by a man of is something she needed, especially after her childhood and last bf!!

Sometimes deals are meant to be broken 💙

This is a billionaire romance with a feisty FMC. Lorenzo and Sophia are twin souls in so many ways. These two are both trying to do best by those they care about, following the paths laid out for them, never really looking up to see what the world has to offer.

Two single people who are all about the hook ups and one night stands end up crossing paths for an epic night neither one of them can forget… only for fate to force them back together, realizing how really intertwined theirs lives are.

There is always time to dance in the rain and fall in love. Take the spur of the moment trip and eat the cake. You don’t know what tomorrow could bring and those moments are always better with someone who completes you.

I have 3 words for this book. ALL THE FEELS!!! It has cured me from my reading hangover. The way I devoured this book! It was the perfect amount of love, plot, trauma, and spice. In the world of Lorenzo and Sophia, it is just 2 people who believe they are not meant for love but absolutely love each other. I was laughing, crying (happy and emotional), and completely kicking my feet throughout this book. I have a little idea of who book 3 is about and I am READYYYYYY to hear their story! I will highly recommend this book if you need a good love story with the perfect amount of smut

"I will never give up. Not because it's not in my nature, but because, honestly, f**k the patriarchy. Men have been on top far too long."

Sophia has a one night stand in a bathroom and she doesn't do repeats. That unknown man from that bathroom a year ago becomes part of her life because he is the cousin of Damian, the MMC in the first book, who is now her best friends Fiancé.

Sophia and Lorenzo are one and the same. They are both at the top of their game, they don't do repeats and they both secretly want each other. The heat and banter between them was so fiery I found myself squealing most of the time. Lorenzo finds himself wanting to be with Sophia all the time and he gets that by inviting her to be part of his world for the summer. The found family in this book was so good, the conversations had were hilarious. And I could not believe the couple at the end that will be part of the next book, I can't wait to find out what happens next.

If you're looking for a series with banter, spice qnd 90's movie references, the Windy City series is for you!

Thanks you so much for the gifted e-arc. Loved this book

Absolutely amazing ! I’ve been waiting for this book ever since Broken Pieces came out, I even got into a slump because I was waiting for it and it did not disappoint me ! I was kicking my feet and squealing like a little school girl lmao like if it was my relationship! Oh to have a man like Ace 🥲 he literally carried the book I’m obsessed with this man ! And the MOUTH on him !!!! Is absolutely insane! Sophia I adore her we must protect her at all times, once I got her story I teared up and resonated with her as well. But the mouth on this girl too 😍 I absolutely love her I love them both !

This book was amazing. How can I be in live with 2 men from the same author. Lorenzo was amazing. Possessive, sweet, caring, cinnamon roll for her! Ugh and Sophia, I related so much to her. 5 stars. This was too good!

I can not tell you how much I have loved this book! The back and forth between Lorenzo and Sophia is hilarious and witty. Plus the dirty mouth on Lorenzo is 🥵 I also love the whole two players falling in love trope. Sophia is such an amazing FMC she is strong and loving but also clearly vulnerable and caring. It all felt grounded and real.

Yinn knew exactly what she was doing with these two. Reformed players? Smash. Forced proximity? Smash. Banter? Smash.

Sophia and Lorenzo’s chemistry was off the charts!!! After the slow burn torture in Broken Pieces, I can confidently say Yinn spared us in Broken Deal. You’ll know exactly what I mean when you reach that scene (winks).

I loved how their story unfolded and the emotions it pulled out of me. And Sophia living my dream of skydiving? Fingers crossed I get to do it one day too!

The ending was absolutely perfect. Sophia and Lorenzo now have a special place in my heart. And to avoid spoilers, I won’t outright say it, but OMFG—Isabella and Matteo??? I cannot wait for their book!!!

Lorenzo and Sophia had chemistry from day one. They never thought they would see each other again but fate had other plans. These two understood each other on a level that their closest friends couldn’t compete with. They sizzled and had me fanning my face and kicking my feet. They had me laughing out loud. This book was awesome. Absolutely loved it.
