I'm a full time home 'supervisor' which is a nice word for saying I'm a housewife. I'm married happily, I met my dream guy 20 years ago, and we have 4 children. I live in Southern California and I can't function without iced coffee. I believe in romance, I've always been a daydreamer, and I'm a HUGE fan of books, always have been.
No, I didn't know that I always wanted to write. I inhaled books as a child. I read entire series (Pippi Longstocking, Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys, Trixie Beldon, The Borrowers, etc) in a matter of days at a time. By the time I was nine years old I had an adult library card where I visited often. I moved on to John Saul, Stephen King, Richard Laymon, Agatha Christie, and then found romance. I was hooked. I wrote poetry in my teens and then moved on to short stories. My first book was started after I read a real bomb of a book that ticked me off with really horrible characters and a plot that was shabby at best and I thought... I could do better. LOL.
I wrote my first book which will probably never see the light of day in the early 90's. I wrote a series of a few books from it. I'm a series fan! I kept writing for fun, wrote MANY books and then in 2009 I decided to try to get published. I wrote my first Sci Fi romance and Ral's Woman came to be. I submitted it and with a little tweaking, Ellorascave sent me an acceptance letter. It was kind of a 'Cinderella' experience for me. It's been a terrific ride so far and I'm really happy that I finally had the time to commit to writing full time. It's a dream come true.

Well, all I know is, since this book ends with a note stating "R Clones is next".. I better get that book PRONTO!!🧐🧐 Don't have me waiting 4 years, Mrs. Dohner..
Now, the first ten chapter story in this book is about Fig and Anna.. Their story began sweet and hilarious, but immediately took a heartbreaking turn, that leads to the reunion of four of the six Clones who escaped together, 3 years prior.. Which leads to more reveals.. I personally loved Anna with Fig. I felt their dynamic given their circumstances, was fitting as well as entertaining. BUT, it still could have been hotter, IMO😉🤭.. Their story also opened up alot of dialogue from the past and the transitions in the present that were happening..
So I gave their story 4 🌟
Our second story here, was Free and Marisol.. Free, I was dying to read and was so happy with what I got.. this story has ALOT of shocking reveals regarding Marisol and her insane narcissistic Grandfather, the owner of Clone World. We also get a sweet but heartbreaking history lesson regarding Marisol and Free..
Their story is also filled with tons of action and heart pounding reveals and intensity. This one was definitely the most action packed and shock factored story in this series thus far. I really enjoyed this one. Though we didn't get much of a reunion where Marisol and Free are concerned (bummer☹️)
I still feel as though the reveals here, action, and their chemistry was what made this story a great tale for me.
So I gave Free's story 5 stars 🌟
I would definitely recommend this series. Please read these books in order.

R Clones is to be the 3rd book in this series, but there is no release date as of yet for this book.

I'm loving these alphabet clones. The F ones were both amazing. They had the most heartfelt stories. I'm a huge fan of this author. She is my all time favorite. When she drops a book I want to read it ASAP. Such a great imagination.

I just love Laurann Dohner books. They are weird and wonderful. If you want a bit of a quirky writing style with low steaks and males that are going to fall so hard for their girl, try an LD book. It will put you in a good mood. Can't wait for the R Clones! Or whatever else LD writes. Happy reading!

Figures
Cuando uno de sus amigos desaparece, Figures necesita hacerse pasar por un humano que visita una estación espacial. Le costaría la vida si lo atrapan. Los humanos odian y temen tanto a los clones. No descubre qué le pasó a Blade, pero encuentra a una dulce anciana humana que lo hace sonreír.
Anna dejó la Tierra para tachar la última cosa de su lista de deseos. Vio las estrellas, viajó en un crucero de placer y completó su viaje terminando en una estación espacial. Ella cree que sus aventuras terminaron hasta que conoce a un apuesto clon.
Y él le da una segunda oportunidad de vida en un nuevo cuerpo de clon.
Free
Marisol hizo lo impensable al enamorarse de un clon. Su abuelo es el dueño de Clone World. Preferiría verlos a ambos muertos antes que permitirles estar juntos. El plan era simple. Ayudaría a Free y a otros cinco clones a escapar y se uniría a ellos más tarde. Solo que no funcionó de esa manera.
Free, una vez conocido como Freak, perdió al amor de su vida cuando ella no se unió a él. Cuando recibe la noticia de que Marisol lo está buscando, hará lo que sea para recuperarla. Cualquier cosa.
Mi humilde opinión:
L.D trae un mundo interesante de ciencia ficción con su serie de clones. Ahora les toca a Figures y Free encontrar una razón para existir. Figures conoce a Anna y le da una segunda oportunidad después de que le disparan en un bar mientras que Free se reencuentra con Marisol, la mujer que ayudó a escapar a los clones y de la que se enamoró, después de tres años.
Me gustaron las historias cortas de los clones F, las dos tenían acción y aventura en el espacio, pasión y mucho sentimiento. Me encanta la aceptación de las heroínas hacía los clones, su apoyo, valentía y empatía. Y me encanta como ellos las adoran y protegen.
La pareja que le divirtió mucho fue la de Anna y Figures. En las escenas picantes no podía dejar de pensar que Anna era esa abuelita dulce y comprensiva que se merecía un final feliz. Era una situación loca.
Me pareció una lectura fácil de leer, agradable y muy entretenida. Espero la historia de los demás clones.

Can't wait for the R Clones book.
Again like the 1st book in this series, 2 stories come together as one. This time it was Fig and Free's turn to find someone.
Fig and Anna was such endearing interaction. Loved their chemistry and so happy Fig was able to give Anna a 2nd chance at life and love 😍. And, in turn lead into the 2nd storyline of this book, Free.
Although, Free and Marisol were the 1st coupling. As well as, how and why the original 6 clones were able to escape to freedom. Being a parted and then reconnecting after 3 long yrs, Free (Freak) and Marisol were able to finally be together. Picking up where they had left off. And, adding 2 couples from the MC clones to the settlement 🤗.
Again like the 1st book in this series, 2 stories come together as one. This time it was Fig and Free's turn to find someone.

Both of the F Clones, Figures and Free, fall in love with female humans who both have extraordinary stories of falling hard in love with their clones. Their love stories are epic. This book has steamy romance, adventure, lovely characters and some nice surprises. This author is one of my favorites authors and her stories are always the best!

Ok this was interesting.
So the book starts out with Fig and how he met Anna. Now remember Anna is an elderly lady and only has a few weeks to live before her heart gives out. She can't afford the medicine so she decided to travel space and go out with a bank. She befriended Fig at a bar and he was enamored with how trusting and friendly she was. He confided in Anna and she told him to find a lady and live his life. Fig noticed Anna loved the music and was dancing in her seat so he asked her to dance. What happened in the bar next devastated Fig. Anna was shot and died in his arms. What you don't know is what Fig does from there until further along. We see him next going after a shuttle with important items on it. Yep he had Anna resurrected as a clone. Read the story.
Well then there is like a major twist which I hadn't expected. Midway the book starts with Chapter one of Free's and Marisol's story. That blew my mind. But it explained a lot and then everything started falling in place. Interesting presentation of this read. Yes I liked it.

In this installment we get the stories of Figures (Fig)/Anna and Free/Marisol.
Fig has been really lonely and he instantly makes a connection with Anna. I did find it a bit freaky that she was . Fig takes a big risk to rescue her and it pays off, especially as it notifies Marisol at the same time.
I liked how both stories intertwined and how the population at the mining facility is slowly increasing. Can't wait for more.

Жаль ставить такую оценку, но.. Может быть мы дождемся тех историй, который принесли популярность. Я склонна думать, что болезнь повлияла на автора и ее письмо изменилось. Но надежда умирает последней. Новые виды, Киборги, воины Зорна... я все надеюсь узнать продолжение

Always enjoy Laurann's stories. The writing is predictable but still fun to read. Her world building is imaginative. You know what you are getting and that isn't a bad thing. She still fleshes out her characters and you want them to make it to the happy ending (no pun intended.)

Both stories where so good figs and Anna where cute and the building of the storyline was exciting, free and Marisol where also cute and a bit dark the m clones didn’t really realise how lucky they were to get away from clone world , I enjoyed both reads

The world building is kind of dark. It’s a bit distopian for my tastes. I’m glad their little community is growing. I loved the story of Anna and Fig. It’s a charming romance in spite of the setting.

Interesting addition to this series. Loveble characters with entertaining love story. This was an enjoyable read with some intrigue an angst. I look forward to reading more stories from this world.
