This is a SUPER PLUS LENGTH NOVEL--162,000 words long
One girl who was supposed to be a nun
Two hot twin warriors separated at birth
Both of them want her But neither one can have her alone. Because with Twin Kindred, it takes two...
How does a girl who's about to take her vows as a nun wind up with two hot warriors to pick from?
That's Becca Malone's problem. After eating a piece of bonding fruit cake, she wound up with Far and Truth, Twin Kindred warriors who were separated at birth and never formed a proper Twin bond. Because the twins hate each other, Becca feels free to choose between them...until the three of them fall into a vision of unspeakable terror...a vision that is about to come true if Far and Truth don't quickly form a bond. And guess who has to be the bridge between them?
Becca is scared to death she's going to wind up bonded for life and Far and Truth aren't too thrilled about the prospect of sharing her. But when the ominous vision sends them on a trip to a rogue planet where the inhabitants live out their lives in a strange, mental internet called the Mindscape, they have no choice but to come together in the most intimate way possible.
Becca comes to realize she can't choose between the light twin, sweet and gentle Far and the dark twin, intense and passionate Truth. But how can she be with both of them at once when the twins have sworn to be forever...Divided?
Evangeline Anderson is a registered MRI tech who would rather be writing. And yes, she is nerdy enough to have a bumper sticker that says “I’d rather be writing.” Honk if you see her! She is thirty-something and lives in Florida with a husband, a son, and two cats. She had been writing erotic fiction for her own gratification for a number of years before it occurred to her to try and get paid for it. To her delight, she found that it was actually possible to get money for having a dirty mind and she has been writing paranormal and Sci-fi erotica steadily ever since.
Main characters: Rebecca (Becca), Far, Truth Type of Kindred bonding: Twin Kindred
Two twin Kindred warriors, brothers who have been separated in birth. They have never met before. They just find each other the day they also meet Becca. Far, the light twin Kindred is dying to meet and bond with his brother. Truth, the dark twin Kindred is just curious. Beth is planning to become a nun. Both brothers are lusting for Becca but Truth is not willing to share and Becca is not ready to experiment with her sexuality. But something drIves them together. They have a long way to go to form a bond. A full force Kindred adventure which I truly loved -especially the first part where the unmated Kindred warriors are taken over by power-thirsty demons and they are transformed into mindless creatures. The second part of the story in Mindscape is also interesting as well as the time they spent at Truth's planet. I loved how the two brothers are finally forming a brotherly bond more than I loved the two of them forming a bond with Becca. By the way there are great love scenes with a great amount of great dirty talking. Just GREAT LOL A suberb addition to the "Kindred brides"!
I didn't enjoyed this book. I wasn't interested in the romance part of this story because first, part of it happened in the previos book and by now I don't remember, and second, because it was absurd to me and I have no patience for irrationalities, I very much disliked the characters for the same reasons. Added to this, I was very disappointed by the smut aspect of the story, at how civilized the ménage was, very tame and tentative, not exciting at all and excessively polite. Couple with an irrational hypocritical almost nun and a repressed irrational fool who one second is immovable in his values just because and the next changes his mind also just because, and I couldn’t connect or care for anything. Furthermore, I have always disliked the topics of values and morals that stand over peoples lives and happiness without any actual reason given to validate them, support them or understand them. Values and moras that are simply there as inmovible things that just are with no reason and must be followed at all costs and sacrifices, it is brainwashing and I can't connect or care for that, much less respect it.
On a positive note, like always, there is great imagination in the world building aspect of the series. I have always enjoyed it and the author keeps it up even after 10 installments. I really take pleasure in thous little things, and it is the main thing that keeps me hooked to this series.
Audiobook: I very much dislike the audiobook narrator. Specially because of the meak female voices he always gives to the female leads in this series. It infuriates me how weak and clueless they sound. But also because he whispers every time the characters have some internal dialogue, which I find intensely annoying and it pulls me out of the story every time. A really strange and unfortunate choice on the narrator’s part.
I really really like this series. Each book is original and the story lines are always new! My only complaint is the female leads in each book are extremely similar in their personalities/behaviors. They all come across as weak and damisals. Which makes for lack of characterization.
Becca Malone has given up all thoughts of taking her vows as a nun since her erotic episode with Truth & Far while under the spell of bonding fruit. All indications indicate her future will be to become the mate of a Kindred warrior. The problem is that though Truth & Far, a Kindred Twin Set, are very attracted to her they have never formed their own bond and have no intention to. Becca will have to choose one over the other despite her strong attraction to both.
Truth & Far, through a freak set of circumstances, were separated at birth which resulted in the absence of a true bond that is necessary for those of their kind to develop. Now mature adults, they can't stand to be around each other so any thought to share a female mate is out of the question. Becca will have to choose.
Things get complicated when Maggie's ex fiance Donald Mahoney returns to the kindred ship with a plan that puts all unmated Kindred warriors at risk. Becca, Truth, and Far will have to put their differences aside and team up on a journey that will test their resolve and expose painful secrets that should have been left in the past. Yet. If they are able to succeed. it will save the lives of countless innocents, including one of their own.
This is the 10th installment of the Brides Of Kindred series featuring a Twin Set with an unusual story line/plot premise. That being the necessary bond of twin brothers never occurred which allowed them to go through life never really knowing what they were missing out on. A sort of biological nature versus nurture battle of sorts.
This was the longest book in the series that was packed with action-adventure and adult content scenes galore. I totally enjoyed the chemistry between the main characters with the additional cameo appearances of characters from the previous installments. Guess this is as good a time as any to add that while this book could be read as a standalone it's not recommended as the series does build off previous installments so you'd definitely loose out understanding important information if you were to just read this one. At the very very minimum you should read "Chained" (installment #9).
Jumping into the emotionalism of this book. Expect twist and turns and story line blindsides that will result in various forms of emotionalism. And yes, that includes having a tissue box handy too. I can see why the page length of this book was required as a shortened version would not have been able to give justice to events as they unfolded.
Adult content. The scenes are m/f/m so no worries that the brothers engage in any m/m activity if that is of concern to you. The actual scenes are juicy with a side of sensual alien HAWT action that I did enjoy though some of the dialogue is a bit on the cheesy side. Having read the previous Twin Set installment I did understand how their paranormal talents were unlocked so the frequency of erotic play between the three was expected.
This is the kind of book where I sit back and ponder how it's possible for an author to come up with a book like this. From simple things like explaining common Earth foods to an alien who has never experienced such foods to traveling to a mythical planet requires the talent of a creative mind and a very overworked muse. **I know I'll never eat pizza or cupcakes the same ever again
I was concerned the tone of this series had reached the stage of being redundant and outlived itself but with this book, and the hints of the future direction the author is going in, I am now back on board as a fan and look forward to the next installment featuring Tess & Garron. The 3 chapter teaser at the end of this book hooked me good. :D
Damn, I got to book 10 of this series! Normally I tap out before we get that far, so it's a good sign.
I wonder what Becca wants to do with her life now that she isn't becoming a nun. Truth was really annoying in the beginning because he kept on denying his brother and their Twin Kindred bond. It seems like he'll never be convinced, but let's just say that sexual situations help out ;)
I loved how they went back to their past in the OneMind. One scene there made me cry.
Part of me really liked this book...conceptually. The world building is good and the cultural adjustments as well overcoming personal prejudice is compelling.
But the angst just goes on and one. And it the same dang thing over and over. I didn't like any of the characters by the end of the book. I sympathized with them but I wanted the to heal and grow and fall in love but instead the book felt like a dirge to me.
I don't like hang wringing angst in books much. I don't mind that things are hard and take a long while to move past but this is too much of the same thing for me to really enjoy the romance.
Once again, a novel in the Kindred series has impressed me. Evangeline Anderson has well developed and well thought out characters that make the reader empathize, laugh and cry right along with them. Divided was fast paced and well written with some great twists that keep a person reading until the wee hours of the morning. We are treated to a fair mix of returning characters as well as new, some of which will make you want to pull your hair our! Like most of the Kindred books, we get a brief recap in the form of former characters chatting which helps catch the reader up (if you are like me and devoured the previous book in one sitting and it’s been a while since you’ve read it.)
I was really unsure how the plot would unfold with Far and Truth (our Twin Kindred protagonists) being separated at birth. I had this feeling it may turn out to be a bit hokey or forced but Evangeline’s writing is solid and she came through with flying colors. The emotions are well written and it isn’t hard to put yourself right there on the Mothership with these characters.
Rebecca, as a former nun, is conflicted and torn between her morals and the two brothers she is fated to be with. But despite her inner turmoil, Far and Truth are at war with themselves having been separated at birth which never allowed them to bond as brothers. There were times when my heart was breaking for the two of them.
The world of the Kindred continues to expand and grow. This is one of those novels that make me wish I could jump in and live there.
Well, can't complain it's too short.. Otherwise, it really is just a rehash. The Catholic guilt is especially bizarre because my family is (yes, Catholic AND bizarre), but it's just another weird vehicle to overcome indoctrinated guilt and weakly resist the guys with the big penises. Otherwise, add in all the usual Kindred catch phrases--taste your honey from the source, I must bury myself to the hilt, hung like a Clydesdale, and those manly copper-hued disks the men all have for nipple (what, they wear pasties made of pennies?), add in a villainous threat that's bound to end up fairly impotent, and a situation that requires the aforementioned guilt to be overcome because sex makes the universe go 'round, and the apparent requisite typos, and the formula is complete.
I'm sure future installments will involve girls with Amish Rumschpringe guilt, Indian running away from arranged marriage guilt, Mormon brainwashing guilt, and southern Baptist WWJD guilt. It's really limitless and since you apparently don't need to really invent new plot devices or vocabulary, it just writes itself. As long as you have a warrior with a big dick and a compulsion for cunnulingus, anything goes.
Saddest of all? If this is the women's version of porn, it's still better than what guys get.
I loooove the books in the serie ... all the book til' now.
Thruth and Far were divided when born, and always felt something doesn't fit with them. one day, they helped becca who ate bonding fruit cupcake, and the story begins...
Ok I won't write a review too long because I'm sure my review could be boring ! but to summarise, there are inside this story : - one stubborn brother - one expecting brother - one traumatized heroin - sex - a three eye guy - sex - some villains (one especially) - big trees - sex - and great HEA
I tried to take my time reading it too, because when you reach the end of the book, it always seems the story is too short... and after that I'm upset the book is over.
Now i want to read the next one and I hope it's about Garron, I didn't read the teaser of the next book yet, but tonight .... ^^
This book is very long but when reading it doesn't feel like it goes on too long or overdone. I really like the different relationship between all three and with the different belief Far believing in goddess, Becca christen and Trust in gods on his world. Each struggle with religious beliefs that are different to the other mate and social understanding. Some parts are similar to the other twin kindred book but when reading u don't notice till after and reflect back. Really good story HEA. Only thing I have against this book is the demon Ur for me starting to drag and would like next story to just about relationships and not so much about another evil demon. Looking forward to Garron story if he gets one.
This one dragged on I forced myself to finish it. Rebecca the heroine got on my last nerve. And so did Truth one of the long lost twin kindered brothers. I took me so long to finish this one. I almost didn't finish it
Not a bad read, but there were others in this series that I liked better (Nadiah & Adam Rast in Revealed). I am looking forward to Truth's half-brother's story. That one sounds interesting.
This review is from: Divided: Brides of the Kindred 10 (Kindle Edition) Evangeline Anderson books about The Kindred are amazing and more than addicting, but when she writes a super long novel about Twin Kindred it is double awesome on everything!
The story of Truth and Far overcoming being separated at birth and the journey to bring them together and joined with their mate was one of the more emotional and moving in the series. Having been introduced to the twins and Rebecca in the last novel I couldn't wait for their story to come out. Evangeline has again created a book with riveting series of events that weave themselves into a story that never quits being one OMG minute to the next. Ms. Anderson's phenomenal creativity and imagination knows no bounds and seems to increase with each new Kindred book I read.
First of all we are back on the mothership of the Kindred. This ship is now a familiar home as each book adds more vivid descriptions of the ship, almost like having had a tour. The author has set up hypnotic visions of the many different worlds that allows us to picture each place and yet leaves enough to our imaginations to paint our own mesmerizing images. This novel also has several new planets and places to experience including the abstract Mindscape and Pas (the home of Pax) and Orthanx.
Being reintroduced to many familiar settings and worlds, as well as the participation of many of the characters from the past books in the series make The Kindred a true saga not to be missed. It is great having the characters from the past books play nice size parts throughout the story. We get to see how they have progressed, who has married, who is pregnant or has had babies, including a hot and yummy love scene with Kor and Maggie.. I suggest the books be read in order for the best experience ever.
I love the heroes, Truth and Far, as with all the twins they are so different yet complement each other perfectly. Their heartbreaking childhoods and journey to overcome so many obstacles plays at our heartstrings. Like all Kindred they are major gorgeous hunks, strong alphas whose pasts make them both strong and vulnerable. Rebecca, their mate has her own demons to fight and it is through the twins that she has discovers how to follow her heart. From a woman's point of view it is refreshing in this series that the heroines consist of all dress sizes, don't have to be 22 year old virgins with fighting skills like wonderwoman.
A horrible evil presence is brought aboard the mothership (I don't want to give away the whole story), but this creates a major crisis that requires our heroes and heroine to embark on a life changing quest. The ride is an emotional, suspenseful whirlwind adventure filled with heart stopping twists and turns. Evangeline Anderson outdoes herself with some of the hottest love scenes ever, that build up and climax when the twins and Becca finally bond. They are erotic, romantic and an integral part of the characters story. I give a solid 5 OMG's on the hot and steamy scale and suggest ice cubes be available when reading this book. Garron is introduced, the main character in the next book "Devoured". He is Truth's stepbrother and I can't wait to read about this new Kindred hero with the turquoise eyes. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for am honest review. I honestly love this Author and this book is one of my favorites. Divided is a fantastic must read and a definite reread.
Since the story of Kat, Deep and Lock, I have always looked forward to another Twin Kindred story.
This one is about Truth, Far and Becca.
Truth and Far with separated at birth by things out of their control. Truth was taken to a planet called Pax, to live with one of his Fathers as a rai'ku. Rai'ku are extremely private beings who show no emotion or feelings towards on another. Far grew up on Twin Moons with his adopted family, but never felt like he belonged. He always felt like something was missing. Rebecca was supposed to become a Nun. Then a twist of fate put her between Truth and Far who have totally opposite views on how to bond and mate to the female of their choosing.
With an impending doom on the unmated Kindred on the Mothership, Rebecca, Truth and Far have to Form a bond, a OneMind in order to help the unmated males.
I particularly loved this story as it shows the extreme opposite of two twins, and the struggles of a woman who only wants to please her strict parents. Seeing the pain that all three of them had to endure through their childhood and college life forces these three to open up about their insecurities and realise that together they can help heal one another and become a OneMind.
Truth, bless his soul, is forced to go against everything he was taught as a Rai'ku male. Although he is a Twin Kindred, Rai'ku was the only way of life he knew. Seeing Truth change so much, and break down his walls and meet his twin half wayward amazing. I felt for the pain he had to endure when shown no emotion or remorse while growing up. You can feel his fear of the unknown, his reluctance to trust and his indecision of wanting to be true to his way of life, or the way of his Twin Kindred DNA.
Far has never felt like he belonged. He has always felt something was missing. When Far found out the truth of what his adoptive family felt for him, i was shocked. Far is someone who needed a hug, and someone to rely on. He needed his twin. So when he finds out Truth was still alive, he was hesitant to meet him, fearful of rejection and hopeful of a bond with his twin. After so many rejections he was fearful of never having a completeness with his twin or chosen female.
Rebecca always followed her strict parents in their way of life. Always stuck to her faith. Until she meets the Twin Kindred. Rebecca's faith is put to the test when she gets not one, but two males in her life. Fighting against her desires and having conflicts about her faith, she relies on her twin males to help her.
I love the concept of three broken and opposite people overcoming their differences and becoming whole. Such a sweet and moving story. It is also a start of the new ra for the villains in the Kindred Universe
Rebecca Malone was supposed to become a nun, but after accidentally eating far too much bonding fruit and being eased by Twin Kindred, Far and Truth she has decided not to take her vows. Far and Truth managed not only to touch her body but her heart as well. The only problem is that they were separated at birth and now seem to hate each other, the only time they have ever worked together was to ease her after eating the bonding fruit. And Becca has doubts of her own, how is she to chose between two men she loves? And belonging to two men goes against her very traditional upbringing. But, it seems that the three of them may have to work together if they are to help save the Kindred from the latest threat.
I love this series, I have been following it from the start, and like many longer series Brides of Kindred has its great books, and its not so great ones. Divided is definitely one of the best books of this series.
For a start...I get two sexy aliens for the price of one, how could that ever be a bad thing? Far and Truth were both big, handsome and delicious, how Becca wasn't constantly climbing them and demanding sexercise is beyond me. But, more than that, this book was really touching as it featured not just the relationship between the twins and Becca, but also the reconciliation of Far and Truth. In the end, I almost enjoyed seeing Far and Truth overcoming their past and forming a brotherly bond more than I did watching the romantic bond between Becca and the twins.
What I also loved about this book was the sexy parts. The twins were dirty talkers, especially Far, and I love a great dirty talker, it notched the heat level of this book up to dangerous levels, and I loved every second of it. Double the heroes, double the pleasure it seems! Evangeline Anderson excels at writing fantastic sex scenes that not only make me drool, but are also imbued with feeling making all those deliciously illicit scenes feel not only hot, but romantic as well.
I can wax on about this book and series for ages, they may not always have the greatest story lines, but I can't deny how much I enjoy them. Her heroes always manage to light my fire and I love the idea of the Kindred, if aliens ever come to Earth I want it to be them, and I can't wait to be called to the Mothership, beam me up baby!
I have come to love Evangeline Anderson's world of the Kindred, the brides and their various adventures. Through it all, Evangeline has created a world outside of our own while infusing the same issues, the same emotions, the same reactions that exist in reality. It's been a stellar ride and I've enjoyed every moment.
However, every ride has its bumps.
Divided was the first of the Kindred series that I somewhat struggled to get through. It is not for lack of characterizations; Evangeline is a master at crafting believable characters, each with their own tiny nuances that makes the reader invest in their particular journey. It's the foundation of good storytelling- strong characters that carry the weight of the story through their interactions and their motivations.
Although Becca, Truth and Far were great characters I felt at odds with Becca's conflict specifically. It's understandable to be wary of change, especially when one was so used to the life that they've lived so far but Becca, in my opinion, didn't seem to want to own her past. She'd rather just remand it to the darkest corners of her heart, hoping that if she forgot about it, it never happened and would have remained blissfully unaware of life beyond perceived perceptions. I've noticed that it has been a trend for all of the Kindred Brides and it's understandable and a relatable human folly. What I would've like to have seen was a bride who understood her past, didn't try to hide from it, embraced it even. Don't get me wrong, I love stories with the strong hero sweeping in to save the "damsel in distress". I just wish that the "damsel" would be a wee bit stronger and less indecisive.
With that said, I continue to enjoy the Kindred series. It's the first sci-fi romance that I've read and I have to say, it's been a thrilling ride. I started the Kindred series on a recommendation but finish it on my own volition.
1.5 stars. I hate giving books low ratings, especially books with great world building. The plot had everything it needed to be exciting. Unheard of tension between Twin Kindred, and a nun of all people, and some evil plotting in the background. However, it didn't work for me. You'd expect some humorous situations to crop up with this mix of characters, yet it was pretty depressing. All of their life stories were really heart-breakingly sad. Furthermore, the dialogue felt really stiff. A lot of it was Becca repeating what the Twins said as a question. It kind of got annoying after a while. The pacing really dragged. It only picked up in the last quarter of the book. I didn't connect with Becca at all. I read somewhere that the reader should agree with the character's actions that they are doing the right thing. That way the reader connects 100% with the character. Or at least close to it; you can't tailor a character to every reader. Instead, I spent my time wanting to yell at Becca that she wasn't doing the right thing. Her beliefs felt really weak. She was a walking contradiction. So I couldn't even agree that she did it for the reasons she felt were right. It was more like the choices she made were out of fear, and she masked the reason for her actions behind her beliefs.
I was disappointed with this book. I really like this Kindred world that the author thought up. It's unique and really well thought out. It's interesting to temporarily live in it, but following Book 10's characters through this story wasn't fun.
I'll read the next book, because there was an excerpt included of the first three chapters. Book 11 seems like it would be kind of funny, and less dark than this one. I hope the character combination in book 11 works, and that the female lead is a strong character (one that I'd want to root for).
Evangeline Anderson is golden with the "Brides of Kindred" novels. Riveting, action packed tales of a wonderful group of barbarian like aliens who need human brides to mate with to keep their society going. From Beast like, Vampire like, Bonded Twins: all seek their soul mates. In return for keeping Earth safe from a Scourge of darkness, brides are taken by a world wide draft. If it's your time, you go. Period! When a bonding is in question and you think there may be no way to see it through, you wonder what next can go wrong...and here it is! A set of twin males separated at birth and raised by 2 very different worlds finds both wanting to mate with a very innocent woman unable to find a sexual bond with any man, let alone 2 who fight, verbally, non-stop. Each male wants her! But only by joining as a trio will these 3 lost lambs become a force equal to shut out an evil set to possess ANY unmated male of the Kindred, and join to defeat outside influences set against their bond. I LOVE these tales! Evangeline Anderson makes you believe in a wonderful world filled with marvelous stories overflowing with the magic of an alien race of men that NEED women...the sexually hot meetings, the love, action and growth of characters is mesmerizing! Join those of us that have found the Brides of Kindred! Divided is Book 10, and I love all of them!
Ugh... I was generous with my rating, mainly due to the fact that I like the Twin Kindred.
I didn't connect with the heroine, Becca, at all. For someone who's been living on the Mother Ship for over six months, she was rather clueless. Becca had absolutely no knowledge about the Kindred, especially the Twin Kindred.
It was exhausting to read. Divided would have been a DNF for me, however in each book the author throws in clues for the next in the series and I didn't want to miss anything. Don't get me wrong, I do like the Kindred series, I just get tired of the heroines being shaped from the same mold. They all turn out to be these blubbering fools that run around shouting "woe is me" and really do not like to communicate with the hero(s).
I used to read each book as it was released... and now I'm like eight books behind in the series. I've noticed that a lot of the characters have started to sound similar and act like each other. The situations in the books and the characters' actions are becoming... predictable.
Unfortunately, I have to give myself a pep talk before I start each book. I really hope the heroines become stronger. I want to see one stand up for herself and not have to rely on the hero(s) to save her.
If the Kindred series wasn't a guilty pleasure of mine- I would have given up on it already.
Ok first of all you need to know to have a few things handy when getting ready to read this AMAZING addition to the Kindred Series. First you will need a fan..to cool you off while reading all the ..shall we say, scorching love scenes in this book.Far has a way of talking..whoa! Next you will need Kleenex to get you through the tough, heart wrenching parts. This story takes you on a sometimes scary, sometimes anger inducing and most definitely "OMG how hot was that?" moments. To say that Truth, Far and Becca's story is an amazing ride is an understatement! The anger and love and adventure that they must go on..is it real or is it Memorex? moments are wonderful. Had a hard time putting it down and am so looking forward to Devored , which is the next in line. I couldn't even read the excerpt that Ms. Anderson put at the end because I knew if I did there would be no way I could wait patiently for it to come out. Just know this....this book is a MUST read if you are an Evangeline Anderson fan or not, or a Kindred Newbie or a well traveled Mother Ship adventurer. So please do yourself a great favor and get this book!
Becca didn't want to bond with Truth and Far and surprisingly the twin kindred did not want to bond to each other. Having been separated at birth never knowing their twin Truth and Far didn't share a brotherly bond like normal kindred. When the demon Ur invades the mother ship the trio are the only ones that can find the solution and are forced to work together to get over their differences.
Boy there is something about those twin kindred! I really enjoyed this story and how reluctant Truth was to bond with Far. Seeing a developing relationship was really interesting, especially with Becca thrown into the mix. The plot was good overall with enough action to keep me entertained.
Twin kindred - truth and far Becca is going to become nun but because of bonding fruit end up with them They are send to find the solution of the problem to a planet that has no atmosphere. There they experienced mindspace. Then they go to truth's planet pax. They find the pendant and become truly injured. They return to the mother ship and find the solution of the problem.

Of the newest in the Brides of the Kindred series this is by far the best. I love the Twin Kindred and this set of twins is a sad tale of heartache. It was great watching these men find themselves, each other, and the Bride that can hold them together.
Not much that I can say about this series that I haven’t already said, I mean this is the 10th book in the series and I’m still going strong on these stories.
I mean yes the stories sort of all follow the same flow as the ones before but I think that’s why I like these so much, everytime I pick one of these books up I’m guaranteed a good time because I love the flow, I love the similarities and I know some people review these books and say the characters are basically all the same but I absolutely love the way Evangeline writes her heroines and don’t get me started on how she writes her heroes, I’m so obsessed with this author it’s almost disturbing.
I’m nothing short of amazed everytime this author manages to bring us to a different world, with different aliens and different customs, the continuous imagination this author harbours is unmatched by any other authors out there!
I loved coming back to the twin kindred I missed reading about them way back in book 3 and was so excited they were back! I loved these characters I loved the adventure, I loved how the characters in these novels always end up getting stuck together and forced on missions and adventures. I really loved truth and far tho truth did make me want to strangle him at times but that’s to be expected being the dark twin 😂 the back story of these 2 twin kindred broke my heart and idk why but Far’s just really got to me and I couldn’t help sobbing for him.
Overall this was just so fantastic and I cant wait to pick up the next one for when I need a pick me up, and again I would sell my soul for the absolute filth that comes out of the kindred hero’s mouths 😌 😇
