This book tells the incredible story of George Washington, the father of our country. It talks about how righteous he was, even as a kid during school. It also talks about what he did as a soldier during the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War. I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It was also cool to see what he was like as a boy, and as a student. The whole book has multiple interesting stories about him, like how he would play war with his classmates and friends, and even more miraculous stories, like how bullets went through his clothes, and even killed his horse, but he was left unscathed. Along with the stories, I also like how they write a lot of it with actual talking, instead of just saying things like, “George Washington discussed this, George Washington did this.” They most likely created some of the dialogue in the book based on George Washington’s way of speaking, their own knowledge of him, and inferences. Even if the dialogue is mostly estimated, it makes the book more interesting to read.
