Read this as research for a possible short biography job I might be doing. Though this book is intended for an audience who want to write their own memoirs (hence, autobiography), I found quite a few helpful passages that I could relate to the biography writing process. Zousmer is matter-of-fact in his tone and covers pretty much everything one would need to know about embarking on writing an autobiography, combining advice with a few personal and more pointed stories sprinkled in between. I found his writing to be a little dry, but it was easy to read. It was a little funny how sometimes you could see stark evidence that this was written in the early 2000s by a man, in America.
I ended up skimming the last chapter or so as I have done something like this before so I didn't really need to know about publishing/audio/distributing, but overall I found the read to be good for a little help for this upcoming project.
