The Goddess's words are clear in Morghan's memory, but the task is difficult in the extreme, because now that Wilde Grove and Wellsford are known to many, so do they discover enemies they never anticipated.
Morghan finds herself brokering alliances both in the Otherworld and this one, only to learn that the issues are much bigger than she ever dreamed, and that she's not the only one pulling the strings.
Erin and Winsome meanwhile, discover that by protecting one who needs their help, badly needed bridges are burned instead of built.
But even in the midst of strife, life must prevail. The way of the heart must be followed, for along that pathway lies the only lasting joy.
When this series was started, the author magically knew our world would need it. If you need hope and directions for moving forward with purpose, read this series and join the Grove. You can thank me later.
This took me quite a while to finish as it's been a busy time but I didn't want it to be over either. As always I love the Wilde Grove books and it was the same with this one. Her writing is so filled with twists and turns and I read this slowly to take it all in, something I don't always do with other fiction books. This series has really drawn me in. I have all the books and one day will start from the beginning once again as I know that one day there will be no more. This was a spirit-filled tale with lots of underlying meaning.
I finally got time to finish this novel, and like the previous books in the series, I love it. The introduction of new characters is welcome as, though other series' don't do this well, this one weaves the new characters naturally into the story.
This is not a series to jump into out of order. I recommend that people read this modern pagan series by release date, as it includes a sister series which crosses paths with the main series, and a prequel.
2.5. I've loved all these books but something was seriously off with the kindle format of this. There was no separation between different scenes, not even a paragraph break. I had to keep going back and re-reading as it was confusing. It feels like this one was written in a rush and I didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as the others.
I have read every book by the author, and this is the latest one that I just finished. I thought the other books had more depth and development of character. This book, although good, seemed to need more and when I finished it, I had the feeling of is this all? I wanted more and I think I wanted a longer book as well.
Spirit Path is such a deep read, it totally makes you think about the bigger picture. It’s a very unique and powerful read. You must start from the first book to understand. I’m so looking forward to the next in this series. Katherine Gennet is a terrific writer
