As far as books on fishing, this is a decent book but you really need someone more experienced to go fly fishing to go with you to catch onto the art of it. I went to a fly fishing class and learned how to look for the best places to fish and that fly fishing is an expensive hobby. The poles and the flies can add up pretty quick. You can make your own flies but that’s a topic I lose interest in pretty quickly.

Great book! This book cuts through a lot of noise and gives just the most essential information so the hobby doesn’t seem too overwhelming. Definitely made me a more confident angler.
