My fellow firefighters call me an adrenaline junkie because I thrive on running into a burning building.
The ladies call me Mr. Hit It and Quit It, since that’s all I have the heart for, but that doesn’t stop them from trying.
Everything changes with one 911 call. One look at her and I am obsessed—Sienna Tatum is the only woman I can’t walk away from.
When danger takes her away from me, there’s only one person to call, someone I swore I’d never speak to again—my twin Zip, the V.P. of the Hells Guardians M.C.
I don’t have a dark side like my brother, but I’ll do whatever it takes. I’ll burn the world down to save her.
K.L. Myers was born in West Berlin, Germany, the daughter of a military father. She then spent her childhood moving from continent to continent, finally landing permanently in Colorado when her father retired.
Eventually, she moved to "hell," aka Arizona, where she resides with her husband & their fur babies. She has two daughters & four grandchildren, and she believes in living every day to the fullest.
K.L. has a passion for reading and writing hot romance when she is not juggling family & a full-time job. Her novels show a pension for a bad boy with a heart of gold and strong, independent women who don't need rescuing, and just a taste of naughty redemption! Her characters will pull you in & leave you satiated, yet panting for more, More, MORE!
Her motto will always be - “If my books can give readers a brief reprieve from their everyday life for even just a moment, I have achieved my dreams and lived a full life.”
I had no idea Asher by KL Meyers and Tina Renee was the eighth book in the (Fire Station Series). I would have usually been hesitant to pick up a book in the middle of a series, thinking I would be lost. I wasn’t lost at all! I enjoyed Asher and Sienna’s story. How did I miss this series of hot firefighters? I will check out the rest of this series. This heartfelt and hot second-chance romance deals with DV and finding love when you least expect it! No cliffhanger/standalone
Asher and Sienna It started with a Boom… and then they fell… This book continues with Asher Hayes of the Station 47 Crew.. the crew is called out to an emergency where we meet Sienna.
This novel takes on a life of itself, a dark brooding Asher who lives his day to day protecting the people around him, he protecting his heart and past. It takes sometime to unravel his layers until he meets Sienna on a call, her dark past will collide with Asher on a level no one saw coming.
The reality of this novel and how real the pull is between these characters hits deep. Sienna learns that not all men are created equal, her growth in this novel, is amazing. Asher is patient and slowly learning what her triggers are.. they both pull from their past, their inner strength to build a love like no other.
The background research is evident in everything that’s what I love about this book. When they head to the Range the language and class felt real.. the Be Safe added into it and how it hits Asher is extremely thought provoking. I cried and laughed and loved the razzing between the crew.
Finally the evolution of when Sienna finally feels strong enough to come clean but what that opens up in Asher. It is a means to end, to old wounds and a new life for both of these characters.
It took me three days to sit and read but only because I didn’t want it to end. The characters and scenes felt real, and you just wanted more and more. I really hope that we get to continue to get snippets of their story in the next Station 47 novel.
Paged out for another crazy call propane tanks, fireworks, lots of possible explosives at a local market. Asher and the rest of station 47 are on the scene and when Asher and Hawk find a woman under some flower crates she was alive but her PTSD from her past is hitting full force. Sienna was running from her past trying to hide from her abusive ex even though he's in jail, she's still afraid he's going to find her and kill her. she was giving a fresh start from a local woman who had been in her shoes at one point in her life and wanted to help Sienna get back on her feet. Now she's being saved by Asher and Hawk and her flashbacks are overwhelming her. Can she overcome her past without giving away her truth, it one door closed but not forever type of life for her and its frighting. Between these two with Ashers past battles with his time in the military, and Sienna's past with her ex will they be the key to help comfort the other and help overcome the trauma from the past that still haunts them. For me this was a bit slower pace and between the flashbacks and the present it got a little jumbled where I had to go back to be like oh this was in the past, but it was still a great read.
I am absolutely loving the "Firefighters of Station 47" series, and ‘Asher’ by K.L. Myers & Tina Reber is no exception! Each book in this series brings its own delicious romance, and this gripping, fast-paced, age-gap romance had me hooked from start to finish.
Unlike the previous books that mainly focus on the firefighting dynamic, *Asher* steps out of that world and adds a thrilling sprinkle of motorcycle club danger. The story follows ex-military man Asher and the slightly broken yet resilient Sienna, whose secrets are her way of protecting herself and her father. The deep emotional connection between these two characters is soul-stirring, and I quickly lost myself in their journey.
The heat and chemistry between Asher and Sienna is undeniable, but what really makes this book stand out is the supportive firefighting family and the kind older woman who gave Sienna the safe haven she desperately needed four years ago. The blend of romance, family bonds, and suspense kept me engrossed throughout.
When Sienna's past comes back to haunt her, it brings danger to her doorstep, and it's up to Asher, his firefighting friends, and a long-lost brother to keep her safe. This book was an emotional rollercoaster with high stakes, making it an absolute must-read for fans of the series. If you're into intense, heart-pounding romance with a dash of danger, ‘Asher’ is the perfect choice!
This is the first book in the series, and now I am definitely going to have to go back and read the others. Asher isn't just a Fireman; he is a former Army Ranger, which means alpha protector with some emotional baggage. When he meets Sienna, he knows there is something there, something he can't place his finger on, but it draws him to her. Sienna recognizes Asher from her past, a past that she is running from for her own safety.
These two are drawn to each other. Asher turns on the charm, and when Sienna lets her guard down, the chemistry between them heats up. Their road to their HEA is not an easy one, especially when Sienna's past catches up with her, but Asher, along with some surprises from his past, is there to help.
Asher and Sienna‘s past are woven together. So Asher being a firefighter now saves Sienna and she looks familiar to him, but he can’t quite place her. Sparks fly from their first meeting, but Sienna needs to keep her past buried. When her past catches up to her, they are in for a surprise with Asher in her corner. Their journey to an HEA is a bumpy one, so you better buckle up!
The books in this series can't arrive quickly enough. I'm addicted to station 47! Asher and Sienna's story is action-packed, broke my heart a few times, then patched me right back up. They're so good together, and Asher is pure swoon material! I love the found family feel that flows through these books, the secondary characters, and in Asher... the little flash of an MC club ( I love bikers, the nice ones, not the s***heads lol) I can't wait for more, I'm on the edge of my seat 😍
Thank you KL Myers and HEA PR Staff for the ARC of Asher!
I’ve been super exited for this book since it was announced!
Sienna has been through a lot in her life and hiding always from those who might cause her harm. Along the way she meets Asher who she finds out she knows from her past.
Holy smokes Batman! This did not disappoint! I’m definitely going to have to go back and read the other books in the Station 47 series because I cannot get enough of these guys!
I love that she was able to pull the Hell’s Guardians MC into this novel!
Oh, holy man, I don't know who I loved more! Grayson, Rhett, Cooper. They all were amazing, but ASHER! ASHER wow, just holy shi+ wow! I have no words. No seriously i don't. Im in love with this character. You have to read this for your self! You want HOT as sin read this story. You want swoon read this story. You want to knock on your a$$ bad boy ex military/ fire fighter. Read this story! If you want all that and more, read this! It will not disappoint. (HEA)
Asher delivered in so many ways! This wasn’t just a rom-com with a sexy fireman, no this story has layers. And it has been years where a non-Romantasy novel has gripped me so hard that a 5 star review was needed!
Sienna is living in Nashville after escaping her biker gang ex-boyfriend who put a bullet in her, trying to live as normal life as possible. One day she is helping a friend with her flower booth at an event when unexpectedly, one of the food trucks explodes, knocking people out and setting things on fire.
Asher, a single war veteran works for Fire Station 47. He is on duty when they get the call for the explosion. When he arrives on scene, he discovers a beautiful raven-haired girl in shell shock.
There are many secrets that could hurt their budding relationship. Will they trust each other to share them? Or will they both burn each other down.
The return of Tina Reber with K.L. Myers is perfection! I love Tina’s unrequited series and I’m so happy to have a new book by her! I can NOT underestimate how much this book had me at the edge of my seat! As I said at the beginning of this review, this book deserved 5 stars. Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself, available September 24!
I received this ARC of Asher in return for a review.
Lots to unpack with this story, but it also ties together really well.
As the Station 47 crew responds to an explosion at a local festival, firefighter Asher helps a young woman to safety. He doesn't know her, but feels an instant connection. When he runs into her a while later, she is shocked to learn his name, but agrees to a date.
Sienna is traumatized from her past and as a result, has some trouble opening up. She keeps her secrets tightly locked up, and is afraid to both let Asher in and lose him over it. Having been through what she has, who can blame her?
A large part of the book focuses on their budding romance and Sienna's path to more resilience and confidence. But then the other shoe drops, and although she's been anticipating it, it still comes as a shock.
This shocking twist in the story allows Asher to tap into his military experience as well as reach out to his motorcycle club contacts. This part of the story is a thrilling, action-packed read, which balances out nicely with the smoldering heat of the rest of the story.
Not only do we have my favorite snarky teenager this time, but we delve into some deep shadows. Some painful pasts. And the present that is forcing everything into the light.
Sienna is scared and sad and alone and lonely, all rolled into one person. But Asher is exactly who can change that for her. He’s also the one person she should stay far away from because she’s only going to hurt them both. Or so she thinks. But when the truth comes out, it does hurt. And it’s almost too late to salvage things, but almost only counts in horseshoes and one other thing. Funny thing? That one other thing makes a few appearances here, too!
While this is still all about family by choice, it’s also about mending things with family by DNA and realizing that maybe the choices brothers make aren’t so different after all. And the protection, as well as the lengths willing to be traveled for love, make this an unexpected ride through vengeance and justice and healing all at once.
Asher is an absolute delight from start to finish! Packed with sharp one-liners that had me laughing out loud, it seamlessly blends humor with high-octane action.
What truly sets this story apart is its depth. Amidst the fun and flirtation, the characters grapple with real trauma and pain. Their journey is not just about romance but about support, loyalty, and healing. The smut is perfectly balanced—steamy and satisfying.
This is a love story that resonates on multiple levels, capturing both the lighthearted and the heavy moments of life. If you're looking for a book that delivers laughs, thrills, and genuine connection, this is a five-star read you won't want to miss! Highly recommended!
Needing to escape her life and the person responsible for what she went through Sienna has relocated to Nashville. She knows the best way to ensure her safety is for others to not know her past however when a situation unfolds, and Asher is the fireman who comes to her rescue her past is about to intersect with her present.
Asher is also dealing with the aftereffects of his past and prefers to keep his interactions with women casual. When he comes to Sienna’s rescues his feelings for her are unlike anything he has ever felt before and when she finds herself being threatened there is nothing he won’t do to keep her safe.
These two are meant for each other as Asher is both supportive and understanding as he shows Sienna how strong and resilient she truly is.
OMG! I have waited 10 years for Tina Reber to come out with another book, and when I tell you she's back, SHES BACK!!
Asher is a cross between your Ex Ops military/fireman/MC Gang all rolled up into a nice neat hot, steamy, action packed, and somewhat emotional story that definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved every single page of it, and I for one missed this author during her hiatus. I seriously loved the chemistry between Asher and Sienna, along with the secondary characters in this book. Loved Oscar, and don't even get me started on little Roman! Liam and the Arizona MC Gang were a special group that I hope to hear more about in another installment. Overall, loved this book!
I was given an advance reader copy of this book and was hooked from the start. The characters are captivating, and I loved the names, especially since both my name and my daughter’s are featured. Sienna, seemed somewhat weak at times, yet her strength eventually shone through, especially with Asher encouraging her to be strong. His character was pure masculinity, giving off strong male vibes as a firefighter with a military background. Both had a lot of history and baggage.
The intimate scenes were steamy but not over the top or cringey. I also loved how the fire department felt like a family, and the motorcycle club had a similarly close-knit vibe. At one point, I thought I had the plot figured out, but the twists caught me by surprise, which is always a bonus. Overall great read ☺️
I loved Asher and Sienna's story. Asher felt a connection to Sienna the moment he saved her life. When fate has them meeting again a few weeks later, he's determined not to let her get away! As their relationship grows, Sienna knows she needs to tell him the truth about who she really is and about her past life. Unfortunately when she finally does, things don't go so well with him. Then when her past finally catches up to her, Asher once again comes to her rescue...but will he be able to save her this time? Great read!!!
Who are Asher and Grayson? Who is Hawk? Where do we find the three men? Who is Skye, and what do we learn about her? I liked Candace. How does Syla (Sienna) meet her? What happens when Syla figures out who Asher is? How do things change when she spills her secrets to Asher? After their reunion, what happens when Syla gets a call from her father's phone? I enjoyed meeting Liam and his family in this story. Who is Liam? Thanks to Diesel, how does Asher's life change? Enjoy the read!
Asher is a firefighter for Station 47 and a former Ranger for 11 years. He meets Sienna at a tragic accident scene and saves her life. He doesn't realize they have met in the past as Sienna was just a child. He usually has casual relationships with women due to a past heartache but Sienna makes him obsessed with her. Sienna is on the run from a past that she tries to hide, but will it put the couple in more danger? A steamy, good read.
Another great instalment to Firestation 47. This time from K.L Myers and Tina Reber. This is Asher and Sienna's story.
Asher is a firefighter, and when he rescues a young woman named Sienna, she looks very familiar. A few weeks later, they run into each other again, and as they get to know each other, their feelings begin to grow. But when Sienna's past comes back to haunt her, will she run, or will she realise she has all the protection she needs right where she is.
Oh my, I loved myself some Asher. He was hot, sexy, possessive and when he loved he loved. This book was so good, filled with great chemistry, suspense and writing that made me feel everything about this book
Another great addition to the Station 47 multi-author series. Asher and Seinna's story had way more action than I had anticipated and now I'm hooked and going to look to see what else this author has out. I will say this is not a rainbow and unicorn type of book, this has some drama, danger, and violence. I will say that once I started, I was hooked. I give Asher and Sienna 5 stars.
Quickie Review: This was my first time reading a book by either author and I was completely smitten with the story they created. I absolutely loved both Asher and Sienna; their broken and bruised pasts and all that came with them. They may not have been right for others or been appreciated and loved as they should have been, but together these two were everything to one another. And I couldn’t get enough of them. While their romance was a slowburn (definitely had to have been with everything Sienna had been through) it was such a beautiful one. One full of love, respect and “naked pancake” talks. This story truly did something wonderful to my heart. The only fault I found was the story came to an end. 5 Stars!
Asher served as a Ranger for 10 years and the last couple of years he has been working at Station 47 as a fire fighter. Seinna has been on the run for the last 4 years. Ever since her ex shot her. She now lives in Nashville. When there is an explosion at the mall during the food festival. Where she is helping her friend Candence, with the flower booth. It sends her into a panic attack. That is when Asher finds her. Hands over her ears and rocking back and forth. He gets a sense of Deja vu. But he can't figure out where he has seen her. He picks her up and brings her to an ambulance. But he can't seem to quit worrying about her. After a week of looking for her. With an expected encounter he finds her at the local vet. He decides to invite her to the firehouse picnic. Because he needs to know more about her. Hesitantly Sienna goes to the picnic. And has a great time. Knowing she shouldn't trust anyone Sienna can't help but trust Asher. But she continues to date him. Can they find a HEA with both of their demons? Sienna is a mess from the emotional and physical abuse she endured with her ex. Asher has his own emotional issues. From his family and from his time serving in the military. But he knows you have to voice them to start the healing. He really starts to bring Sienna out of her shell. But a secret might ruin their relationship! Then her ex reappears and threatens to ruin everything! I absolutely loved this book! It has everything! It will tear your heart strings apart. It shows you what real families do in times of trouble. Even found ones. And what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. I highly recommend this book!
This is quickly turning out to be one of my favorite multi-author series. I highly recommend starting the series asap, you won’t regret it. As for Asher’s story, Ms. Myers has given us a very well written storyline with wonderful characters, which of course includes the firemen at Station 47. Asher has always been known as a “player” because he rarely sees the same woman twice. He struggles with too many demons since his time in the service not to mention from all the heartbreak he’s seen as a fireman. But something in his clicks, in ways he doesn’t truly understand, when he finds a young woman in full blown panic mode during a call out at a local festival. He sees a lot of the same demons he suffers in her eyes and actions. She calls to his protective side and he wants to get to know her. As for the woman, Sienna, she definitely has personal issues. She is on the run from a bad situation and the last thing she needs is Asher digging into her past.
The storyline is full of suspense, aghast, lots of drama and of course romance. Secrets, lies, hurts and mending hearts are all at play here. This is an outstanding story that, like the first three in the series, that I suggest grabbing up asap. The books can be read in a stand-alones.
“Babe, you gotta know something.” I quickly glanced up to read his face. “I would burn down this world for you if that’s what it took. These men are going to help me do that. We have a battle ahead of us, and it’s gonna get messy, but no matter what, you never have to say you’re sorry.”
My Thoughts:
I loved almost everything about this one. My only issue involved something I don't want to spoil but it wasn't about the writing or anything it was just a situation in the story so its no big deal.
So the thing I've noticed with this series is that there's always a major dangerous incident at some point involving the fmc or someone from her life that the mmc usually comes across on the job and that's fine and dandy but my issue with that is that it's usually pretty much the exact same situation as the previous book just with a slight change here or there and it just kind of makes it predictable which to me isn't my favourite but this one while something did still happen, the situation was completely different and had nothing to do with Asher or his job so I enjoyed it a lot more.🧡
Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
Asher Hayes is a firefighter from Station 47. He’s a former Ranger for 11 years. Now he strives to help people in other ways. He doesn’t do relationships, doesn’t want his heart broken again.
Until one call changes that. He meets Sienna Tatum on the scene of a tragic incident. He saved her life, and became slightly obsessed with her. He felt so familiar and he couldn’t understand why.
Sienna spent her past four years looking over her shoulder. The grief for her mother led her to make a decision that she sorely regrets. But when she meets Asher and learns his whole name, she recognises him from her past life. Asher shows her that he is a good guy and she can trust him. But will he stay when he finds out their connection? I loved their chemistry and passion. They were made for each other.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a protective hero, firefighter, hidden identity romance then you’re going to love it.
Tina Reber is back. Wow. What a story. If you are a believer in fate this book is for you. Bother Asher and Sienna grew up in Arizona. They used to be neighbors. Asher’s girlfriend at the time was Sienna’s babysitter. Now both are living in Nashville. Both try to get over their pasts. Sienna escaped an ex who is now serving time in prison. Somehow she has settled in Nashville. Her appearance has changed and also the last time she saw Asher she was 7 years old. When Asher “meets” her he feel a pull and connection to her but cannot explain it. Of course he doesn’t’ recognize her. She is afraid to tell him who she is for fear he will not want to be with her. She is trying to forget the past and create a new version of herself. The sparks between Asher and Sienna not only burn the sheets but the pages as well. A story with a lot going on that has you on the edge of your seat anxiously awaiting to see what happens next. Once you start you cannot put this book down.
Get ready for a gritty romance of the series that brings motorcycle club danger and former military aspects along with some trauma that makes your heart ache! I was completely invested in this book from page one and enjoyed the pace that kept me intrigued about what would unfold next.
Sienna and Asher are a lethal match (in a good way!) and their dynamics only increase the intensity of how their relationship develops. The explosion that occurred, causing their paths to cross, is only the first of the explosive moments that these two have together. I loved the humor blended in to relieve some of the heavy hitting with this one — truly my favorite aspect of this book.
Both Sienna and Asher see a lot of growth, learning to accept and trust that others can be good, have good intentions, and things will still go awry at times, yet understanding that true resilience will have them standing there when all the smoke clears.
This is my first book in the series & WOW! It was well written, the story flowed and I felt like I was a part of Asher & Sienna's world the entire time I was reading this book.
The writing was excellent and made me feel so many different emotions reading this book. My heart broke for Sienna, then it was put back together. I loved every single thing about Asher. I loved how they met and their relationship evolved. It was a little iffy there for a couple of weeks, but they found their way back to each other.
Asher would do ANYTHING for Sienna, and he proved that tenfold. They both deserved the love they shared with each other after the pasts that they had.
I loved all of the side characters & will be looking for Liam's story, if there is one. I will also look for the other books in the series. They were a great group of guys, who all have a special bond through Station 47.
