Falling for the Pucking Bad Boy is Book 2 of the New Brunswick Wolverines series. It's a steamy, instalust, enemies-to-lovers, hidden identity, hot one night stand to more, he falls hard first, girl gets her hockey player romance. Aurora (Rory) is a sassy, feisty, social media content creator and journalist, and daughter of the head coach for the pro hockey team, the Montreal Blizzard. Judson "Killer" Wells (Wells) is a hunky, hotheaded playboy who is the right winger for their rival team, the New Brunswick Wolverines. When Wells goes to confront a rival at a bar, Rory runs interference and has a hot one night stand, not expecting to see him again. He doesn't know who she is at the time. But he sees her on the bench the next day with the rival team and causes chaos when he puts his phone number on a post-it for her in front of the crowd. This couple had INSANE chemistry, and I fully thought my Kindle was going to melt. But we have family and team drama, as well as stupidity, especially on Wells' part before we get our HEA. I loved how much Wells wanted her and pursued her, and tried to win her dad over knowing it was important to her. I also liked that Rory put her foot down and put him in his place when needed. The flirty and snarky banter was hysterical, and the sexy times were hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot 🔥!!! I love this series so far!.

Wells and Charles are on opposing NHL Hockey teams and can't stand each other. Wells was going to confront Charles about breaking one of his teammates legs tonight when he literally ran into Aurora. Aurora is the daughter of the head coach of Wells opposing team. She ran into him on purpose to stop the fight that was about to start between Wells and Charles. By doing this she stopped a public issue for both teams. The two of them start a friendship and Wells hopes to move it to a relationship. After a beautiful weekend together he is filmed with two girls and it appears that they are headed for an encounter that shouldn't happen. Rory sees the headlines and decides to block him 100% to save what is left of her heart. Wells tries to get in touch with her, but isn't able to. He flies to her so they can talk in person and she tries to make him leave without listening to him. Will he make his next playoff game on time? Will him and Rory makeup and create a formal relationship. Let's finish reading to find out. I love this book.
The book almost seem like a forbidden Romeo and Juliet story. I found it funny when it cames to how they first met. Rory ended up becoming one of my favorite characters in the book. She is strong minded, she never won't any man disrespect her, and she knows what she wants. Wells was a playboy until Rory changed him. Their sneaking around was amusing and sometimes adorable. Couch sellers was torn that needed to be plucked off before it got worse. I didn't like that he was putting his team first before his daughter. In the end I was happy that her father came to his senses and did the right thing. I enjoyed the story and hope to read more. Anyone who likes sport, especially hockey then you might like it. If you like forbidden romance and where the playboy chases after the girl. Then I promise you will enjoy the story.

Natalie Belle is a new to me author and I’ll definitely be reading more of their books.
I could not put this book down. There was always one thing after another that kept drawing me back into the book. Who needs sleep right?? 🤭
This book has it all: a forbidden romance, hockey, a rival team, a feisty FMC, and a reformed playboy. I loved how Rory held her ground in several instances (you go girl!) and helped reform the playboy by stealing his heart. I loved their banter and how relentless Wells was in pursuing their relationship. He was all in right from the beginning and proved himself to not just Rory but her dad too.
This was an awesome book and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
This was Killer (Judson) and Aurora’s story. After her dad's team, the Montreal Blizzard, took a brutal loss, they head to their usual bar to drown their sorrows. Then Judson "Killer" Wells, a hot-headed right-winger from the rival team—the New Brunswick Wolverines. He’s bad news wrapped in blond hair and emerald eyes, and he’s ready to tear the place apart. She steps in to calm him down with a promise of a drink, knowing very well who he is, but he doesn’t know her. One hot night later, she’s ready to slip back into obscurity. No harm, no foul—until things get complicated. It was an entertaining, fun read. And am voluntarily leaving this review.
I love hockey and can never resist a hockey romance - this book did not disappoint! The strong-willed characters fall fast and don't spend the whole book waffling back and forth over their feelings with constant miscommunication like many other romance books. Instead it shows how people can stick together and support each other no matter what is thrown at them, which is refreshing and inspiring. The chapters were brief enough (shifting points of view often) that I wanted to keep reading and reading, just one more. If you're looking for a romantic story full of perseverance with a little spice, this book is for you!
This is the first book from this series that I have read, I liked the connection, chemistry and banter between Wells and Rory. I believe in them as a couple, they didn't have an easy time, but bless Wells for not taking no for an answer, and for for a bit of self reflection. I liked seeing them grow as characters, and I liked seeing their relationship grow too.

Open this ice melting hockey romance read that is one HOT and STEAMY book. I thought the story and characters were captivating and charming and offers you a great way to escape the summertime blues. So, if you are needing a new book to add to your summertime reading list then let me suggest Natalie's book. It's going to have you falling in LOVE with the beginning, middle and ending of this romance.
New to the author and I read this in one sitting. It’s a great read full of all the witty banter and swoon worthy moments you could wish for! Wells(MMC) is a sweetheart with a naughty streak and a way with flirty(a lil filthy) words! The FMC(Rory) was just the right amount of feisty, cute, and lovable and perfect for Wells! I honestly wish this book was longer. I really enjoyed it!
Well, she managed to get basketball’s quarters, football’s two-minute warning & bye weeks, and baseball’s series into a hockey book. And don’t get me started on Montreal vs. Sacramento playing in New York City. Hockey is not a difficult sport to research and minor research would have been helpful here. I loved the idea, but this wasn’t done well. And the characters didn’t have a lot of depth.
I absolutely loved this book. Judson"killer" Wells is going to make you fall head over heels for him and how he's so devoted to his snowflake. Aorora "Rory" is amazing, sassy, has a mind of her own and does what she wants. They fall in love and fight against all obstacles against them together.

The chemistry between the two main characters reminded me of old Hollywood movies. They really clicked and there was a lot of banter. And some excellent steam. I also like a good He Falls First story. I enjoyed this book and I would read it again.

Fantastic read! Judson sees Rory at a bar and takes her to his hotel for what he thinks is going to be a one night stand. Little did he know that one night would turn out to be forever. Judson was a hockey player and Rory is the daughter of the coach for a rival team. They had to overcome so many hurdles but found their HEA.
I loved it!! The story was so cute. Wells and Rory have my heart. I loved that one they both knew that they wanted each other they were all in. They were read to fight the battles. They stood for each other when needed instead of running away. They handled their relationship and everything maturely and by communicating with each other. They got their HEA and the Twins💕.

This book was a great hockey romance. I really liked the couple’s dynamic and the tension with her father. I would recommend if you like hockey forbidden love stories with a fair amount of spice.
They had chemistry that was hard to deny and she tries very hard to deny it. I love the way his team treats her, if only her dad was the same. They go thru a lot between them but together as a team they can make it. I would love to read about what the future brings them.
