They planned the perfect heist. They didn't plan on Bigfoot.
After committing a series of daring robberies, Mason, Travis and Jack disappear into the untamed forests of the Pacific Northwest with their loot. Little do they suspect, however, that the forest holds secrets far more terrifying than any of their crimes.
As paranoia fractures their unity, and the body count rises, they must confront the legendary creatures of the Pacific Northwest and forge a fragile alliance with a compound of doomers, hippies and preppers.
Plunge into this arresting tale where greed meets primal fear, where campfire stories drift out of the smoke into real life, and where the line between myth and reality becomes perilously thin.

If you're looking for a straight up creature feature, this is not the book you are seeking. The book started out fine. We have our 3 MC's who robbed a bank and tried holing up in a cabin in Oregon. On the way they hit something on the road that they thought was a dog. It wasn't a dog, but a juvenile bigfoot. They get to the cabin and holy hell breaks loose and this is where things start happening that were straight up weird AF or highly unbelievable. There was no lead up to the invasion of the cabin. It just happened, which made it kinda sad and boring. This is where things get really nonsensical. I finished it, but was not impressed.
Another bigfoot book I stumbled across while seeking out (the much better) Rogue by Luke Phillips. It wasn't awful, but there were too many odd elements that weren't explored and felt haphazardly thrown together.
There were plots that were built up for a wow factor that, once revealed, I wasn't interested in or impressed by in the slightest.
