Found And Flirty

Rate this book
Mack My teenage years were agony; spending every day tormented at the hands of bullies eventually led me down a dark and lonely path.
My mother saved my life and became my hero.
My early adult years were spent in fear and isolation, until her … Maisie Connell shimmied into my life in a pair of jean shorts and cowboy boots and filled my lonely heart to bursting. I find a new family, a group of friends who love me and finally find the strength to let go of the past.
I’d missed out on a lot growing up, until Maisie takes me on a journey of fun, laughter, love and intimacy.
I fall hard and forever.
But can she get past her fear of love to let me in?

Maisie

I lost my parents at a young age and spent years bouncing between foster homes. Then I spent my early adult years bouncing from bed to bed. I’m the good time girl, the one and done, the itch to scratch.
I can’t remember what it feels like to be shown true, genuine love, until him … Mack Richards is the epitome of a gentleman. Until I take his virginity and awaken something inside of him. Our journey is wild, full of love and fun, full of growth and understanding.
Secrets are shared and old skeletons come out of the closet.
But can I let him in? Can I let myself fall and risk being abandoned again?

Found And Flirty is Book Two of The Finding Forever Series, it can be read as a standalone but is better read after Lost And Found. There is also a spicy novella called Stripped which is also linked to the series.

Little Flame 🤍

I have so many feelings about this book.
Firstly, I loved it. Both MC’s are so likable and relatable, I fell in love with Mack immediately.

Mack, the gentle giant, so sweet and innocent, a perfect gentleman (I just wanted to hug him) and then he turns it up in the bedroom 🥵

This book was spicy and it hit just right 🔥

Maisie was a firecracker yet so vulnerable and I felt like her Mack complimented each other so well, like two halves that really were perfect for each other.

Loved having a Maverick POV and the way he came into the story.

LOVED Ace and I can’t wait for his story.

This book was so heart warming, it’s such a sweet story and an easy read. Also I did not expect the twist in chapter 30.

I teared up at the beginning when reading about Mack’s experiences. I loved the relationship between the main characters. I’m a sucker for a fluffy romance, they both love so deeply. the fight part…. YESSSS!!!
I also love the relationship between Maisie and Ace it’s just the cutest.

This book gripped me after the first few chapters and I couldn't put it down! It's heartbreakingly beautiful, the writing encapsulates the MC stories and I'm just obsessed with this. I feel so privileged to have been chosen as an ARC reader for this book and would recommend it to anyone who wants a cosy romance that makes your heart sing 💜

Mack and Maisie both didn't have an easy youth. But when Mack starts college, he meets Ace and Hugh, who take him under their wing and help him out of his shell.
Maisie has been searching for something to fill the void in her life for a long time. But the quick encounters with men in the past only left her more empty than before. But all that is about to change when Mack and his friends come into her life.
I love this story so much!! Strangers to friends to lovers at it's best. The book follows Mack and Maisie and their friends over a span of about ten years. It's heartwarming to see their relationship evolve, both of them being exactly who the other one needs. The group of friends is amazing and I can't wait for Ace's story next!!
I recommend reading the series in order, starting with "Lost and Found" for maximum enjoyment.

This book was pure perfection.

I loved this couple in the first book and fell even harder for them in this book.

Mack and Maisie were totally meant to be. They bring out the best in each other and helped heal the other from their traumatic pasts.

I honestly loved Mack from the very first chapter. He was such a sweet, kind and caring MMC who deserved the very best in life.

Maisie was the wild child who wanted a family badly after losing hers at a young age. When she met Mack it was like everything clicked for her and fell into place.

Oh Ace….my favourite character throughout! He was seriously the character that made me shed a tear the most in this story. My heart broke for him but he also made me laugh a lot.
Cannot wait for his story.

This book sucks you in from the very beginning and I could not put it down. Another fabulous read from Chrissie ♥️

Yet another great book by this author. I absolutely loved every single word she wrote!

Maisie and Mack are perfect together and they were meant to be! 🫶🏻

They both have painful pasts and being together helps them heal and understand that the world is not bad all the time!

This book is full of love, friendship and found family. It was truly an amazing read and I will happily read it again when it comes out! 🫶🏻

There were moments where I cried, not only because some parts were incredibly sad, but also because of those happy moments. Some parts you will even have to hold your breath until the end of the chapter, because of what is happening.

Such a beautiful book! 🎉🥹

I was so excited to be able to read the next book in this series and it certainly didn’t disappoint!
This book was such a great story with a lot of emotions, some parts were heartbreaking, very spicy! 🥵 and times where I laughed out loud 😂.
This author writes so well that I feel that the story comes alive and grips me that I don’t want to stop reading until the end and then I am so desperate to read the next book!
I take my hat off to C Smith for her bravery in her ability to write about personal experiences which must of been hard.

Overall a 5 star 🌟 read in my eyes !

I absolutely ADORE C Smiths books, this collection is by far one of my favourites since I began reading her books last year.
Found and Flirty yet another favourite, there is an overwhelming amount of raw emotion, comedic moments (gotta love Ace!), lotsa spice (❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥) and so much love!
I was caught instantly by the dedication, was pulling at my heart strings already! (IYKYK)
I cried several times, I swooned over Mack, I loved Maisie, and also Milo & Ace 😅🥰
If you’re looking for Romance, Emotion, Fun, Smutty goodness, and an all round good cryathon, this book + the rest of The Finding Forever series!

Ps. So I was meant to have left a review last year for this, my sincerest apologies to the author for completing forgetting to review!

This is a steady-paced, spicy story with a twist. I had two different ideas about what the twist might be. My first guess was spot on, and while it was predictable to me, it still delivered a genuine shock. The book also teases the Ace and Lilly drama, but sadly, we don’t get any answers yet.

When I started reading, I felt like I was revisiting my own school years, right down to the hall pass, home tutoring, and teachers turning a blind eye, but from a boy’s perspective. That hit me harder than I expected because it was so relatable. Then, when Mack starts college and meets his new group of friends, I felt a pang of jealousy. In real life, it’s rare to find such a close-knit, understanding, kind, and caring group. The whole village feels almost too perfect, a little unbelievable, but it’s a lovely thought and something you wish for yourself.

The main characters’ relationship is sweet, fluffy, and cute, yet very enjoyable fluff. The way Maisie and Mack help each other heal from their pasts is truly beautiful. I wasn’t sure how much I’d enjoy a virgin male main character, but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved how Maisie wasn’t bothered by it and even called him a “good boy.” And when they get to the ‘Rumpy Pumpy’ scenes, it definitely heats up.

As I’ve mentioned before, fluffy romances aren't usually my go-to, but every so often I give one a try and find I'm surprised at how much I enjoy them. Another fluffy read for the win, with the bonus of plenty more spice, which I’m always a sucker for.

Even though this isn’t my usual genre, this series has completely won me over. I enjoyed it so much that I went back and reread the entire series. Definitely a solid and enjoyable read, it absolutely deserves the 5 stars.

This was the second book I read by Chrissie and I wasn’t disappointed! It wasn’t as good as Lost and found, which just blew my mind with its steam and love and everything. So this book is as spicy as the first one but instead of being like a heartfelt romance story this one was as heartbreaking as it was heart warming…

So first of all Mack! My heart! ❤️ 💔💔
Sweet sweet Mack… bullying is so terrible, kids can be so evil. My heart breaks for his bad self esteem… the character growth for him is wonderful, he evolve to this confident, badass guy with a filthy mouth and yet he has his core intact, he is vulnerable…

And Maisie… she is a badass that had a rough start in life, but it’s so sweet to see how she forms friendships and relations with all the girls and boys in this book. That is something that really shines through the book, the power of friendship and family.

I like the way this book spans over a long time, there is a then part and a now part, but even the now part moves on quickly so the story never gets dull….

So it’s safe to say that I loved this book! And if you haven’t read anything by this author, then get your ass to Amazon or where ever you buy books. They are worth it!

Chrissie has such a way of writing characters that you quickly get sucked into their lives and feel part of the family. This is the second book in the Finding Forever series, and we follow Mack and Maisie. Both have had troubled childhoods, and we see them overcome their challenges by taking a chance on each other.

Chrissie always writes with such emotion, and this book had me tearing up within the first few chapters as we get to see how Mack was bullied in his childhood. However, this book also had me laughing out loud, feeling a sense of belonging with all the characters, and it is a truly heartwarming read.

The story spans over 10 years, and we get to see lots of the other characters from Meadowside. It was nice seeing how the gang all came together and getting more of their backstory. For me, I found this book to be more confidently written than Lost and Found, although I really enjoyed that book too! I just feel this one had more depth to the characters. I can't wait for more!

I highly recommend this series if you like to feel all the emotions, you love cosy romance and lots of spice!

With thanks to Chrissie for providing me with a copy of this book. This is my honest review, which I'm leaving voluntarily.

Holy moly, this book! My heart is completely broken, and simultaneously bursting with happiness 🥰 Mack and Maisie are so special. Every character is in this book is unique and perfect - Ace has my heart and I’m so excited for more from him in the next future!

Mack is a soft, gentle soul who has endured more hurt than anyone should ever have to. Maisie is a firecracker on the outside, but the exterior hides a deep pain. These two are definition of soulmates and they bring out the best in each other. They are truly best friends first, and I love the support they have for each other.

Despite all the sadness in this book, it is also a fun, spicy 🥵 read! These two can turn it up in the bedroom (or behind a shed lol) 🤭 And the bucket list is a really fun addition to the story!

The writing in this book is honest and raw, it doesn’t even feel like a fictional story. I was so wrapped in this world and these characters feel so real! I know this book (and this whole series) will stay in my heart for a long time 💕

Speechless!! I absolutely devoured Found and Flirty! I am in love with Mack and Maisie!! The connection, not only between them but their found family. The way they all looked out for each other. Absolutely perfect. The things I would do to be able to read this book again for the first time! C. Smith blew this one out of the water!

The butterflies I had over the things Mack said???? Omg I loved it!

The found family in this one really hit home and I was amazed by it.

💜found family
🤍he falls first
💚virgin mmc
🤍sweet & spicy
💜small town

I cried, I laughed, I can’t wait for more (specifically Ace! I need more Ace!). I loved how Maisie was with Mack, how patient she was with him and constantly reassured him. Then the way she stood up for him at one point (iykyk).

The way Mack was with his friends. I loved seeing him grow more confident in more way than one. And just ahhh I loved this character so much!

And the time jumps were perfect! I typically struggle with time jumps but this was wonderful and worked so well with the story!

There are so many things that I loved in this book and I wish I could say more but I don’t want to spoil this one!! Please just go read it!!

I was lucky again to ARC read the second book in the Finding Forever Series and can barely put in to words how much I loved it.
In this book we follow Mack and Maisie’s love story, two characters who have been through so much heartbreak and cruelty in their pasts and they finally find someone who makes them feel alive and loved.
It’s safe to say I cried ALOT, Mack’s story really hit home and it was lovely getting to relate to the MMC for once, as well as getting to see a story line where the male has much more of an emotional range than just “touch her and die” (even if that alone is swoon worthy)
I am so grateful to have gotten to experience this book early and I cannot wait for you all to get your hands on it on September 2nd. And I am counting down the days for book 3!

I absolutely adore this series so far, and Found and Flirty was no exception.
These characters are so loveable, and the writing pulls you in straight away.

I absolutely love Mack & Masie together! Macks' back story of bulling was incredibly emotional. I was so glad when he was able to come out of his shell when he met Hugh and Ace. I loved hearing how they met! Brought a huge smile to my face on his first day of college!

Masies' character was also so lovely. The things she'd been through in her past were so sad, but I'm so glad she met her soul mate in Mack and joined their fantastic friendship group.

The bike shed scene had me cackling!! I loved the spice in this book.. the perfect amount!

Also, the flash mob! Omg! So cute 😍

Ace! Of course, I had to give him a mention! I love his character and can't wait to read his story. The scene with milo in the bed 😂😂

Once again, C. Smith has had me bawling my eyes out and then laughing out loud 5 minutes later! I love that she writes characters and storylines that get you so completely invested. The author tackles difficult subjects in this book so delicately and has you really rooting for the main characters.

Maisie and Mack are so different but perfect for each other. They really are soulmates. Maisie brings sweet, she Mack out of his shell and shows him how to really live life. While Mack shows a feist, self-sufficient Maisie that she is deserving of unconditional love. I'm also so glad we got to see more of Grace 🥹

The only issue I have is that I have to wait for Ace's book! I need to know what happens with that giant teddy bear!

One of my most anticipated releases of the year and going back to Meadowside (if you’ve not read book one Lost and Found or the novella Stripped, why not? Get reading!)
Our trip back to our favourite small town gives us Mack and Maisie’s love story from the very start and I’ve got to say the first chapter had me welling up on this emotional rollercoaster read. Our loveable fireman Mack meets the flame-haired vet at a local bar one night and together go on a wild journey learning about love, acceptance, and finding your family.
Mack’s teens were a tear jerker to read that had me commiserating with him as the toll of bullying took its toll and Maisie learning to take a leap of faith with her heart was beautiful.
We also get to see some of our favourite characters that I’ve come to love. One word: Ace!
I cannot wait for the next visit back to Meadowside!

Kindle read (ARC)

I had so much fun reading this book, the second story in the Finding Forever series!
I loved reading about Mack and Maisie’s story; I laughed and giggled 🤭 I cried both happy and sad tears 🥹 and oh my was the spice spicy 🥵
Definitely one of my favourite couples I’ve read about in a while, both bringing out the best in each other while accepting and loving the “worst parts” and helping each other push through tough times throughout their story.
I also loved the representation in this book as well!
And always bonus point for a bit of Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran too 👏🏻🎶
Not only did I fall more in love with Maisie and Mack, but also the other characters, especially Ace who had me grinning from ear to ear with his shenanigans 😂
I can’t wait for his story next!

This story was amazing. Wow. I loved every minute of it and felt really connected to the characters. There is past trauma for both Mack and Maisie, Bullying and death of loved ones helped these two connect on a deeper level. The support they give each other is truly unique and so different from your normal romance books. The spice is off the charts hot and I wish we all had a mack in real life cause that man is something else. I really liked how the book flowed from the past to the current so you get a real sense of connection to everyone in the book. Ace is so sweet and the cinema screen made me love him even more. I can't wait for his book. Thank you so much C.Smith you have smashed it again with this new release.

This book made me ugly cry so much it’s unreal! Chrissie is just a phenomenal writer! Mack is just such a large and loveable giant! Some of his scenes made me want to just wrap him up and protect him from everyone that made him feel worthless( those scenes made me feel so angry seeing the way he was treated).

Maisie was everything that Mack needed! She gave him confidence, a feeling of self worth, the ability to be vulnerable and show his emotions. All of that was and is a chefs kiss***😘. I loved that we got a glimpse into grace and Hugh’s lives before we unfortunately loose Grace. And I loved that we got to see the other characters emotions from loosing her!

Ace has also become a favourite character of mine as I just love the brother sister relationship Ace has with Maisie’s🩷 I cannot wait for his book!!! I need to know what happened between him and Lily asap 😂

Thank you @c.smith_books for my first ever ARC! 🥰

I had previously read the first book in The Finding Forever series - Lost and Found - and fell in love with Mack and Maisie back then and was so happy when I found out the second book Found and Flirty was their story!
Their background stories were hard to read 💔but I was so happy they found each other. 🫶🏻🔥
I felt every emotion reading this book!
Finished this book in a few hours 😍

Already can’t wait for the next one! To find out more about the other characters! Especially Ace! 🥰

10% into this book and I was already tearing up. Mack's story on the effects of being bullied was raw and heartbreaking to read. He was portrayed as such a sweet soul that I was just as glad as his family when he found people he could learn to trust and open up to. I loved Mack's friends as they were hilarious side characters. Masie was honestly the perfect FMC for Mack. She had her trauma as well, but she was always patient with Mack and relied on him just as much. I hadn't read the first book, so there was a part within this book that shook me. If you are looking for a slow burn this book might not be for you as their relationship moves fast. Some moments felt slightly rushed, nevertheless, it's still a fun and quick read.

Thank you to C. Smith for giving me a free copy in return for an honest review.

I absolutely loved Mack and Maisie’s story 🥰 it was absolutely amazing learning about their childhoods and how they were best friends before anything first ♥️

I was so happy that it spoke about previous characters from lost and found and Stripped C.Smith other books/Novella and I can’t wait to learn even more in depth about other characters in the future. I am however so mad that we still don’t know what has happened between Ace and Lily!!

I’m glad that Maisie got everything she wanted in the end and that Mack could become the confident (sexy🥵) man that he wanted. The spice between these two characters was off the hook!! 🌶️And I was 100% here for it and their bucket lists 😉
I wholeheartedly would 1000% would recommend this book/series ♥️

This book!!! Wow, another amazing addition to the finding forever series.

Chrissie has such an amazing gift with her writing that she is able to make you connect with each character instantly and so deeply it's truly beautiful.

16% in and I was already crying poolside on my holiday 🥹🥹. There were other times as well I was reduced to tears.

Mack and Maisie are perfection! Two tortured souls becoming one and finding love through the hardship life has dealt them. They really bring out the best in eachother and the spice oh it's spicing 😏😏.

Mack is such a gentle soul who's been to hell and back. I loved watching him come into himself and it definitely doesn't take him long to find his rhythm 😜

Maisie is sassy, and has confidence by the bucket load. She also has such a softer side which is beautiful and when she shows her more vulnerable side she is truly breathtaking.

I devoured this book and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!

Release date 2nd September. Thank you so much for the ARC 💕💕

Well...

The story between Mack and Maisie was a rollercoaster and a half. The story was good, but I feel like it was a little too fast paced and in some places a bit cringe.... But, I adored it! The journey they both went on was inspiring, and they faced issues that many do... Very believable and relatable

I cannot wait for the next one in the series!!
