She obtained a Bachelors of Arts with Focus in Psychology from DePaul University and Masters of Applied Professional Studies with focus in Business Administration from the like institution. Working in Hospital Administration for the majority of her career, Watkins has also been an author of fiction literature since the young age of nine. Eventually she used writing as an outlet during her freshmen year of high school as a single parent: “In the third grade I entered a short story contest with a fiction tale of an apple tree that refused to grow despite the efforts of the darling main character. My writing evolved from apple trees to my seventh and eighth grade classmates paying me to read novels I had written about kids our age living the lives our parents wouldn’t dare let us”. Wow this was a great series. I lived the characters in the book and all the different situations. I was so drawn into this book. Im glad Vic was finally get her self together. Tricey and Blood I hope get it right and leave all the outside stuff there. Star I hope catches on to what Deshawn is doing. Lyric and Vic wonder what will happen.

Another book or should I say books I've had for awhile before actually deciding to read it..... These women gave me a headache! I couldn't keep up with who was fucking who! I lost count by probably book 2 or 3! But I enjoyed this series and can't wait to read the finale cause everybody and I do mean everybody got some explaining to do after that ending in book 6!

The Lady
This book was a great fictional read. Once I relaxed from my long day I was so wrapped up in this story I could not put the book down . Loved the thug life and characters. Happy to read about them. Really was an enjoyable read

Fantastic
This series of books was unbelievably great and showed all levels of love, hate, confusion, disappointments and hurt. This was the first time I read anything from Jessica Watkins and I fell in love with her style of writing.

Great boxed set despite the minimal errors! I couldn't help turning the page. Every page would make you experience an emotion.
