I’m a sucker for a second chance, and this pair felt like they were in desperate need of another try to get it right. For me, this story bringing Blaze and Pandora back together was all about what it means to be a survivor. Blaze had to face the guilt of still having a life to live and Pandora faced the aftermath of the terrible situation she lived through, along with everything that was needed to see justice prevail. I loved watching these two rediscover their common ground and for Blaze to heal the rifts he had left in his wake. Now, I can’t wait to learn what the author has up her sleeve for us next.

Always them
Blaze and Pandora. Best names award and a great second chance romance. Blaze is running from a horrible loss and survivors guilt. Pandora is his original love and he randomly comes across her while visiting a friend. Their love is still there but she is suffering from a trauma and still in danger. Blaze steps up and we see him click with all the guys from previous books to help solve her danger. Their relationship is sweet and their ability to help the other move forward beautiful. The ending, especially with his sister in law and nephews is adorable and the epilogue touching. A great story and probably my favorite of the series so far!

When Blaze Wright arrives in Fallport, VA his first stop is at Old Town Auto, where his old friend Brock Maybrey would be expecting him. He heads to the car Brock is supposed to be working on, a vintage mustang, only to be surprised by a voice he remembers. The owner of that voice is just as surprised to see him. Pandora knew Brock had a friend coming, she just didn't know it was Blaze. With Brock busy for the rest of the day, he suggests Pandora give Blaze a tour of the town. One she gives with a bit of a detour into the surrounding areas, just for fun.
Pandora and Blaze have history from a long time ago and circumstances here are going to have them both facing it. At lunch after a walking tour of the town, Blaze notices someone watching them. Pandora immediately calls her friend Weston and informs him of the presence of Tim and Carl. Tim is the brother of Sully, who blames Pandora for his being in prison. Pandora has been the victim of several vandalism incidents and she's sure it's been Tim and Carl but can't prove it.
Blaze of course wants to know what's going on and when she explains, he's all about protecting her.
Not only is there Pandora's current problem there is also the fact she still loves Blaze, she never stopped loving him.
The book gets very emotional as they both go through events that are life changing, even more so as they also deal with the past.
For Blaze there are many revelations that he needs to come to terms with, even as the spark between him and Pandora flares brightly back to life.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Blaze Wright has left the military and arrives in Fallport, Virginia at the request of his old friend Brock Mabrey. He is shocked to see Pandora Maxwell in town, a woman he once loved and hasn’t seen in years. When he learns that she had barely survived a brutal beating years ago, he is determined to remain in town and protect her. Pandora isn’t sure that she wants Blaze in town as though she has never forgotten him, he made it clear that he wasn’t interested in a permanent relationship. Sully, the man she had testified against is being released from prison and she knows that he will want revenge. They know that her very presence will incite Sully to threaten her, but Blaze already has his own plan in place. Blaze has never healed from the death of his older brother who died during their joint mission. He wants to be the man that Pandora needs, but he can’t be that man until he makes peace with his past. Searching For Pandora is a great second chance romance with a good measure of suspense and drama added in along with some deeply emotional moments. Blaze and Pandra were together twenty years ago until he forced an impossible choice upon her then he walked away when he didn't get he answer he wanted. Fast forward those 20 years and sudden they not only meet by chance he inserts himself into her life as her bodyguard whether she wants/needs/likes it or not. In the intervening years they've both suffered loss as well as emotional, psychological and physical damage. They say confession is good for the soul and what they end up revealing, albeit reluctantly, to each other finally starts their healing processes. But, there's still the matter of keeping her safe from a very real threat. Blaze goes on offense rather than waiting around and it gets the desired but dangerous results. In doing so, he finally realizes that Pandora was and sill is the love of his life and he wants forever wth her. She's right there with him.

This was a touching , heartbreaking as well as heartwarming story. One of the best by this author.

Losing his brother on a failed mission that he was the leader; Blaze Wright blames himself and seems to be trying to self-destruct. He goes to see Brock, a friend of his before he sets out for taking chances with his life. He can’t believe it when he shows up at his friends shop that his lost love Pandora Maxwell is standing in the shop beside her car, a vintage Mustang. She has been working at building a life as a firefighter, as well as, running her bake shop. When Blaze learns all that she has been through by the hands of a dangerous man Sully Miles who brutalized her and is now due to be released from prison, he is determined to protect her and put him back in jail where he belongs. As he helps her, is she able to help him recover the loss and accept that it wasn’t his fault the way his brother died.

Another great Operation Alpha story
OMG, this book just hits you right in the feels! There's so much emotion and struggle going on, but it's all so gripping and intense. You've got a brave hero mourning his brother's loss, that he feels was his fault (no surprise there) and a fierce heroine fighting her inner demons. He's ready to sacrifice everything, while she just wants a fresh start. And get this - they used to be a couple! Can he keep her safe from her past and his own demons? Will she be able to mend his broken heart?The characters are so well-developed, and the story is just heartwarming. Trust me, you won't be able to put it down!

Trigger warning as this story deals with assault. Blaze is ex-military, Pandora is now a firefighter. They knew each other long ago. Now their lives have come back together again when a shocked Blaze goes to visit a friend and runs face to face into Pandora. They are both running from something. Blaze from the loss of his brother, Pandora from an unspeakable (and unreported) assault. Together they work to make the creep who violated Pandora pay for what he did to Pandora and other women. Blaze has returned to Fallport, Va. to see a friend but, he's not planning on staying. After a mission that goes bad ends with his brother dying in his arms, he has so much guilt that he feels he just needs to disappear and live alone. While there he runs into Pandora who was and still is the love of his life. When Pandora is in danger can he and the guys from Search and Rescue save her? There's danger, heartbreak and letting go of the past to see a new future and get your HEA. Great book

It’s been years since Blaze and Pandora have seen each other, but when Blaze walks in to visit his old friend, he runs into Pandora. Pandora finally managed to get her life together and become a firefighter and lives in Fallport. When Blaze finally finds out that she helped put a man named Sully go to prison for raping a young woman. Sully made it l known that he would come for her when he got out. It’s a great book that has a few twists and turns in it. I recommend this book.

An excellent storyline. A broken hero grieving for his brother. A strong heroine battling demons from the past. He doesn't care if he dies. She wants to live a life without looking over her shoulders. They were once lovers. Can he protect her from her past and himself? Can she heal his broken soul? Read Searching for Pandora to find out. Wonderful character development and a heartwarming story. I received a copy, and I'm voluntarily giving my honest review.

I've read and/or have several of this authors books, but this book is my favorite so far. Blaze and Pandora are two broken souls for different reasons. He for the guilt over his brothers death and her for what happened to her. They once loved each other and can again if they get past their grief. There's danger, new beginnings and hope. HEA.

Blaze & Pandora touch our hearts & pull at the strings. So much pain hidden behind strength for them both. Love the automatic support they both get from others & each other. The sizzling chemistry was steamy. Danger twined with anger fueled the excitement of what's going to happen next. Enjoyed the different characters of friends & family. Jen has done an Excellent job! Honest Review.

Reconnecting With Old Friends!
Searching for Pandora: WOW! Exciting, emotional and romantic! When he got out of the Marines he wasn't sure what he was going to do but he knew he had see Brock. Blaze was not expecting to run into the one person he had always loved! It was a great story!

When life has kicked you around and you feel as if you gave it your all, just hang on, all is not lost. With the military no longer being an option, the love of family and friends will always get you through. You just have to have faith. Great story of second chances. #jentalty #searchingforpandora

I'm voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a free copy. It is a fast paced story. I'm glad Blaze and Pandora get together for good. It was a close call but they got the one who was behind all the attacks on Pandora. I like how they saved each other.

This one smacks you right in the heart. So much pain and loss, so much to fight for but not seeing it and the end. Oh my goodness, so good.
