Bad Boys Club #2

The Breaking Point

Rate this book
From the author of The Player's Club comes a new standalone hockey, friends-to-lovers, second-chance, forbidden romance.
Grace Kensington has been my secret crush since we were kids.
Though she is definitely all grown up now.
Long blonde hair, big blue eyes, and curves that could bring even the toughest hockey player to his knees. She’s the full package, too—smart, funny, and as real as they come.
One might go as far as to say perfect. Except for one tiny detail: Grace is my coach’s daughter.
And she just walked back into my life. Apparently she’s doing an internship for the team.
The last thing I should do is get close to her again.
So the plan is to keep my distance.
But that plan flies out the window the very first time we run into each other…and I’m naked in the locker room.

I wasn't going to review it intially but considering i suffered trying to even skim it, fuck it. I'd rate it negative if i could.

Not the biggest fan of i've been pining after you for years but i'm also a whore in the meantime trope

Mac was saying, forcing me to stop reminiscing about the past. “You have a reputation.”
I was offended even though I couldn’t disagree with Mac. “I’m not going to do anything to the coach’s daughter,” I protested.
“Dude, you’ll fuck any woman who you think is attractive. Pretty sure you have way more notches in your bedpost than even I do.”
“Nothing wrong with wanting to have fun.” But the alcohol flowing through my veins ended with me adding, “But I’m getting kind of bored of it all, to be honest. It’s too easy. Women just throw themselves at you. I miss the chase, you know?”

h is a 'good girl' (in author's words) who follows all the rules and H is the biggest manwhore who always had a crush on her. h has also been pining after him for years at this point and had already gotten rejected once after throwing herself at him

Gross H sticks his thing everywhere. DNF at 6%

EDIT - I wanted to give the book a real chance since the blurb was all about unrequited crush and i had a hope that H was a reformed hoe, having eyes only for h after meeting her. That sounds like something i could get behind.

But that hope died a quick death because in the next page H flirts with a handsy ow an hour after meeting h and thinks She was totally the type of woman I preferred to take home

Then i find out that H is the foster of h's parents and they lived together as kids. So she knew and saw all the girls he took to his room all the while she stayed a virgin. Add to that he's an honorary son of her parents, she had a front row seat to this man's whorish ways.

There's no redemption because after all this, h practically waits in queue for her chance of H to take notice and fuck her after he's done fucking all the other available women. Idk why authors think that's a cute thing. No one likes a community dick.

And the worst part? She's still a FUCKING VIRGIN. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME. And she loses it to this loser. The double standard in this book will make you want to pluck the hair out of your head. This author truly hates women. I hate when they make h a pathetic fool saving her virginity, pining around waiting for a walking std of a guy who had no qualms about where he stuck this thing. Just another manwhore x virgin x it's always been you book i absolutely loathe.

Another one of those “I’ve always wanted you… but not enough to NOT stick it in tons of other women every chance I get” 🙄🤬

And she remains a virgin, of course 😒, while pining for him, not to mention having him as her foster brother when they were younger, so she KNOWS he sleeps around 🥴.

Enthusiastic to listen to this one since I really enjoyed the first book in the series. Unfortunately I didn’t feel it actually focused on the romantic storyline m as much as it revolved around alcoholism and it’s hardships. Also, pet peeve and non-fave trope-hurdle: the “oh why doesn’t he/she see how much I’m into him/her?!” Vs “oh, I’m so into him/her - but I’m not good enough so it’s better to be an ass and ignore him/her?!” Not to mention, there were so, so many little idiosyncrasies that bugged me throughout the book -like a foster child calling his permanent foster parents by their title and surname whilst living with them during his teens.
Nah. I ended up high speed:in the last 8 chapters just to get through it.

Another emotionally deep, SPICY, dual POV sports romance set in the same universe as The players club. I liked that this series normalizes kink and BDSM of all types and that this book really unpacks the trauma of growing up in foster care and having an alcoholic parent. Great on audio, this was a coach's virgin daughter, forbidden childhood romance that gave me all the feels. Definitely recommended for fans of authors like Tessa Bailey.

Brady came to live with Grace and her family as a foster sibling because his mum couldn't look after him anymore, he always saw Grace as a little sister but she had a crush she couldn't shake, but she was too young and it'd all fizzle out soon enough right? But what happens when the years pass, he doesn't see her that way anymore and now she's working for his team and she really isn't that little sister?

Who doesn't love a taboo story? A little bit of step brother and some BDSM? All the spice and everything nice. Brady and Grace do have that banterous relationship and she will do anything to get him hot under the collar, convincing him to have his wicked way with her but he's a strong boy and can resist, until he doesn't want to that is.

Star: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.25

The Breaking Point by Fallon Greer is a steamy sports romance that beautifully balances humor, forbidden love, and undeniable chemistry. The story follows the complicated relationship between star hockey player Brady, who has harbored a crush on Grace Kensington since childhood, and Grace, the daughter of his coach. With Grace returning to his life to intern for the team, Brady finds himself in a precarious situation—falling for the one woman he should definitely avoid.

Brady’s internal struggle with his growing attraction to Grace is both relatable and engaging, particularly given their shared history and the complications arising from Grace’s father being Brady's coach. Fallon Greer does a fantastic job capturing the tension between duty and desire, creating a “forbidden love” scenario that keeps the reader invested.

The chemistry between Brady and Grace is electric, amplified by their playful banter and shared past. The humorous and awkward moments, such as their initial reunion in the locker room, add a lighthearted touch to their blossoming romance. Fallon Greer effectively builds the tension, making the inevitable romantic sparks all the more satisfying.

Grace is portrayed as a smart, confident, and strong-willed woman, which makes her a perfect match for Brady’s charming yet conflicted character. Their dynamic is full of back-and-forth exchanges that add depth and realism to their romance, keeping the reader hooked.

With themes of second chances, loyalty, and breaking boundaries, The Breaking Point is a captivating read for anyone who loves sports romances with a touch of humor and forbidden love. Fallon Greer delivers a fast-paced, fun, and emotional story that leaves readers rooting for Brady and Grace to overcome the obstacles in their way.

Oh my , The Breaking Point has a totally different vibes about it and still is so in tune with the first book in the Bad Boy's Club series . If the Players club was a little bit playful and carefree this one is angsty , with a lot of pent up tension , mutual pining and with that forbidden love vibes all over it . Brady is so tortured and conflicted about his feelings for Grace and the obligation toward his foster family and his coach . Yeah , Grace is his coach's daughter and his former foster sister. Talk about forbidden love situation . But Grace is no longer a teen girl with a crash . She's all woman with feeling and desires . And so ready to explore what interests the man of her dreams . Yep , fun times at the Scarlet Rope . The constant push and pull between Brady and Grace and their encounters at the club just add to the spiciness of their story. Grace is so eager to finally have a relationship with Brady that she missed how that situation is torturing him . Brady loved her for a long time and fought his feelings out of obligation to her family and a secret of a past tragedy he feels guilty about. And it doesn't help that her dad , who's his coach is overbearing and a little bit controlling the narrative. Brady faces a tragedy in his own life and at the same time the happiest moments with Grace . When reality strikes he chooses Grace but for a while she chose to act as expected by her parents. They both make important decisions but the lack of communication is messing them up. When they finally clear all the misunderstanding between them and discuss everything they are on their way to their happily ever after. Loved that last chapters and that epilogue. It's so good to see two strong characters finally fighting their past and embracing their future. Now I can't wait for the next book in the Bad Boy's Club series because after those hints it'll be an epic one.

After loving book 1,I had high hopes for this one. This had a great forbidden, sports romance story plot..
Brady has had a tough childhood and finally fostered by Grace's family at age of 14 until he was 18. So he was loyal to that family. We get now and flashbacks chapters every now and then. Gave great insight to their emotions and situations. Now he is a successful Hockey player for Grace's dad. This puts her off even more. Despite having feelings for Grace he knows she is off Limits so he became the typical player.
Grace is the Conservative good girl and has crushed on Brady from age 12. But it was unrequited from her knowledge. Now a grown woman, it seems she still has those feelings and she is still a virgin waiting for him.
Even after being rejected 4 years ago she still keeps trying, because he is just her kryptonite.
I think the push was too much and their chemistry got lost as story went on. For me I struggled at times to grasp at the chemistry between them. They both don't even get Spicy until after 60%. The spice comes very late in the story. Considering the 1st book to be quite hot.
It was quite emotional when it came to his mum. So check triggers as it is painful. I was very disappointed by her parents. They took in this broken boy that has made something of himself and yet they kept telling their daughter how is from the opposite side of the track. He isn't good etc, when actually he is apart from him sleeping around. So that was a bit weird. I did however liked seeing Mac and Elodie and her best friend Kelly.
We did get to visit the famous Scarlet Rope club again and great Hockey games.
I'm hoping Kelly's story will be good as the 1st one.

This is the 2nd book in the Bad Boys Club series. But, each is a stand alone you can read.
Grace Kensington, the daughter of the hockey coach, and now she is interning for his team with the marketing department.  Grace's parent's fostered a few kids when she and her brother were growing up. One of those happened to be Brady. She was instantly smitten with Beady and would often follow her brother and him around during the summer.

Brady is a hockey player on the same team Grace is now interning for.  Brady always had a thing for Grace, but he knew her brother would take him out if anything ever happened between them when they were younger.  Brady use to give Grace a hard time, often saying mean things to her, to cover for the fact that he was actually into her.

Now that they are both adults, and working together will they be able to avoid each other? Grace seems like a little lost puppy dog if she's not following Brady around. Brady always seems to look for Grace in the crowds and he's very protective of her if any other guy gets close to her.  But he's not willing to kiss her or date her.  He doesn't think he is good enough for her.

I didn't like how Grace was just a little puppy following Brady around. Grace has always had a thing for him, never made a move to actually show him anything other than skin with little outfits she might wear around him. Brady has it stuck in his head that he's not worthy of anything nice, and that he should only get the short end of the stick.

Thanks to the author and Grey's Promotion team for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.

As this was my first book by the author I wasn’t really sure what to expect other than the blurb
which gave me cute rom-com vibes. My 4 star rating is a 3.5 star rounded up.

The storyline delivers some cute rom-com-y moments, like Grace accidentally seeing Brady naked in the locker room, but it also has a deeper and more emotional plot. Brady was placed in the foster care system due to his mom’s struggle with alcohol addiction and when he was 14 he was taken in by Grace’s parents. He and Grace formed an emotional bond, and Grace had a very obvious crush on Brady.

The dual POVs both present and in the past helps to give readers insight into both characters. It shows Grace’s crush on Brady, but also the depth of Brady and his feelings of loyalty to the Dallas family and how he doesn’t believe he deserves much in life. It also reveals how strongly he has always felt and continues to feel for Grace, but doesn’t think he’s good enough for her.

Grace is very much Brady’s person, someone he lets down his walls and opens up to and she steps up and supports him during some emotionally difficult times.

While giving off rom-com vibes this book delves into some pretty serious topics too. It also had me confused at times over some continuity issues and just a lack of detail which may have been resolved before the book was released as I read an unedited ARC.

While the storyline is interesting and entertaining, I didn’t feel really engaged with it or the characters either.

I received a free ARC from the author and Grey’s PR; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

Fallon Greer, you have done it again! I loved Grace and Brady's book so much that I couldn't stop talking about it and I couldn't put it down even at the preseason hockey game that I went to.. lol.

Brady was just the cutest and so relatable. My heart truly couldn't stop aching for him and I just wanted to give him a huge hug (even when he's being a butthead and being mean to Grace.)

Grace, girl!!, I want to take confidence lessons from you because you got what you wanted and you knew exactly what to do to make sure that you got it.

I loved the aspect of them knowing each other from childhood and learning about his past. I don't normally like Dual Timeline books, but I really think that Fallon did an amazing job at keeping what we needed to know and exactly when from the past. I do wish that the conflict was placed a little earlier into the book because I personally like to read about their happily ever afters for a little bit longer.

Thank you Fallon Greer and Grey's Promotions for this ARC! I can't wait to read more, especially because I think Kelly and Roman are getting a book! (At least I hope so!!)

This is my first time reading this author.

The Breaking Point is the second novel in the standalone series. This one follows Brady and Grace.

This book was a good quick read. There was a solid and interesting storyline.

I really enjoyed the past and present that we were given. It really helped to see how long these two have been pinning after each other and just how hard and how long Brady has been trying to keep his feelings in check for Grace and how his own past demons keep getting in his way of feeling deserving of what he wants. Grace is a fairly sheltered FMC whose father and brother are overbearing protectors. But Grace knows what she wants and is literally willing to do anything to get it. I also love that Grace is the only person (really) that Brady will let his full guard down with, which makes their relationship special.

For me, this novel felt lacking of a connection I could make to either character, and at times it felt rushed. I really wish more time was taken to provide more depth to not only both characters but also to the secondary characters in this novel that would help develop both Grace and Brady.

Grace gives me Isla Fisher vibes from Wedding crashes.  I love her more and more throughout the whole book. She was funny, loving, and perfect.

Brady is a foster kid and Grace’s family takes him in. At first, he only saw her as a sister but as they got older, he started seeing her as more. She isn’t the young girl she used to be. He avoided all family things after high school because he didn’t trust himself around her.

When she gets an internship with his team. Their paths cross again. He isn’t able to avoid her like he had been. Then he finds her in a club that she shouldn’t be at. Temptation is becoming harder and harder.

A lighthearted sports romance set in the world of professional ice hockey as Brady and Grace meet again. They had initially met when he was fostered by her family with Grace developing a crush on the surly teen, but he had never looked at her that way. Years later Brady is now a star player with the team her father coaches and where Grace has just landed an internship.

Told partially in flashbacks to their teenage years, Brady and Grace’s story had a good flow to it, and the characters themselves were engaging. I loved their meet cute reunion when Grace walked in on Brady naked in the locker room and her old attraction came rushing back, only this time around Brady could admit he might have felt something for her when they were younger, but now, their past ‘sibling’ relationship as well as her father’s position as his coach brings a hint of the forbidden to anything there might be between them. I loved their steamy back and forth banter and with Brady recently discovering a liking for administering a spanking much to Grace’s approval, added some spice as they explored this new development at a sex club. Bringing some angst was Brady’s past and the reasons he ended up in the foster care system which affected his behaviour in the present. But Brady has a secret from their past that affects Grace and what will happen when it’s revealed?

The Breaking Point is the second book in Fallon's Bad Boys Club series. These books can easily be read as standalones and as they all feature a couple in each one. The characters overlap but just to show how they all interact with one another and add another layer to the story.

This story features Grace and Brady. Brady was a foster child who lived with Grace's family when he was older and was in and out of the system. She harbored a crush on him and he knew how she felt but never allowed anything to go past that even though he too felt something more for her.

Now they are in their older years, she's interning for the hockey team her dad coaches and Brady plays for that same team. However, neither have been in contact with one another for years and he was not aware that she was back.

I do enjoy how this story plays out. It shows some growth on both their parts, both individually and together. However, I did want to see Grace grow more outside of Brady. She definitely showed a more confident side, but I wanted to see her step outside hockey and focus on herself and wanted made her happy. The author showed a bit of that, but I wanted to see that developed more.

Overall, this is a great addition to this series of what I like to call spicy sports romance.

This was an okay read for me. The writing flowed well for the most part, my issue was with the drama of the story. Grace was "innocent" even though she didn't want to be. She offered herself up to Brady several times with him turning her down every time. That part of the story got old after the first few times. Although she was a teenager when she first started flirting with Brady, it almost felt desperate after a while. I kind of understood where Brady was coming from when he was younger, but since they were both adults at this time, it was annoying. It was probably 70-75% of the way through the story before they finally get together. Grace's parents were both kind of crappy when it came to Grace being with Brady. I felt like it wasn't either of their business what their grown adult child chooses to do with her life. Grace's dad telling Brady's "secret" was ridiculous in my opinion. He was the one that put Brady in that position, but failed to mention that part to Grace. Grace and Brady do get their HEA, but it seemed like everything was just pushed to the side pretty quickly. I did enjoy this author's writing style, I just wasn't a huge fan of characters. This was a first read for me by this author, but I will be looking for other works from her.

The breaking point - ARC Read

Firstly I would like to say that I am extremely grateful that I was able to receive an ARC.

I absolutely loved it!

Once I started It, I couldn’t put it down.

Tropes of this book, if you love:

Unrequited Love
Friends to Lovers
Second Change Romance
Forbidden Love

Then this book is definitely for you.

My honest Review:

Star: 5/5
Spice: 🌶️

The banter and the chemistry between the two MC’s is just the icing on the cake. That fact that she drives him literally insane is priceless. ( Of course this is a spoiler free ) review so I won’t be sharing my highlighted notes, but damn I’ve never laughed so hard!

The chemistry between Brady and Grace is electric. The humorous and awkward moments from their past to present. Even in the first chapter their reunion in the locker room after years of not seeing one another.

Brady’s internal battle with his growing attraction to Grace is both relatable and engaging and given their shared history and the complication that are brought up one being that Grace’s father is Brady's coach and a few others ( But once again this is a spoiler free review ) a true forbidden love in a sports romance that was beautifully written.

This was a fun light hearted read. This is the story of Grace the hockey coach’s daughter and Brady a player and foster child of her parents. Grace is a young girl who was incredibly naive but deeply smitten with Brady. As a young teenager she followed him around and dressed to entice him. Brady noticed because he liked her too but he liked being with her family since he was cared for and had food to eat. His own mother was an alcoholic who neglected him and was unable to take care of him. The story is told using flashbacks to their teenage years, this is usually a literary device that I do not enjoy, but I understood the reasoning for using it in this book. I really liked Brady, he obviously cared a great deal for Grace and he really tried to protect her and keep her safe from himself. Grace’s infatuation with Brady made her do stupid and reckless things which made me annoyed with her. Grace’s father while he advocated for fostering Brady he really didn’t want him hanging around Grace and she knew this and her chasing him sometimes put Brady in difficult situations. I thought this book would be angsty it wasn’t. Grace’s pining for Brady and his for her just seemed very immature and could be easily solved by talking things out.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of The Breaking Point by Fallon Greer through Greys Promotions, and let me tell you, it absolutely cooked and delivered. I’ve read the first book in this series, devoured the second, and now I’m EAGERLY awaiting the next one (seriously, I want it now😤). Normally, I’m hesitant when a book is written with dual POV in both the past and present, but Greer did 👏 not 👏 disappoint👏. The transitions between timelines were seamless and really showed off the growth between our two lovebirds, highlighting how their relationship started.
Grace Kensington, our gorgeous heroine, is working as an intern for the Los Angeles Blades and, oh yeah, she’s also the coach’s daughter. Enter the love interest: Brady Carmichael, a player on the team, who also happens to be her parents' foster son. Brady’s an absolute man-whore at first, and honestly, he didn’t deserve a second chance. But as I kept reading, I found myself softening toward him, and let me tell you—it was worth it.
If you’re in the mood for a spicy hockey romance, this one’s for you. Brady and Grace’s chemistry is undeniable, and the tension? Chef’s kiss. So go ahead, give these two a shot. You won’t regret it! It gets 4 stars from me, and 3 spicy stars.

Grace and Brady have known each other since their teenage years as Brady was a foster child taken in by her parents. Both of them had childhood crushes on each other but Brady avoided her as he never felt that he was good enough for her.

Fast forward to the present, Brady is a star hockey player with LA Blades, under the guidance of Coach Dallas, Grace’s father. Grace has also recently started her internship with the team thus giving them lots of opportunities to bump into each other.

The push and pull was just awesome and I loved those flashbacks to the past. When both of them finally succumbed to the blazing hot attraction, it was just so beautiful.

Grace is such an amazing and strong person. I loved how she didn’t back down from the challenge aka Brady. But Brady is hiding a secret from Grace. Will their relationship survive this secret? Read this to find out!

I am a big fan of sports romances and this was a great one. I also liked how Brady and Grace were there for each other, when they just needed someone for support or to take care of them. Friends for life and lovers forever!

To be honest, I struggled a bit with the beginning of the book and it was definitely not a given that I would enjoy it so much in the end. I also didn’t expect to feel as much emotion as I did, or even to be surprised by my own tears for a good part of the second half of the book.

Grace is a smart heroine who knows what—or rather who—she wants and is determined to get it. Brady is a hero tormented by his past, but not nearly as unworthy as he thinks he is. Once you put them together, it’s hard to imagine them as anything other than a couple.

As in the first book in the series, The Player's Club , the common denominator is the sex club, The Scarlet Rope, a key location for each of the couples in the two books in the series. Another common element is the practice of BDSM in a healthy and safe way.

I do, however, regret some of the clichés used at the beginning of the book. They made me feel rather uncomfortable, but I know I’m quite sensitive when it comes to that sort of thing.

All in all, once I got over the discomfort of what I perceived to be clichés, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and if there is a third book in the series, I will definitely read it.

Thanks to Fallon Greer and Grey’s Promotions for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

✔️ Coach's daughter

Grace Kensington has been my secret crush since we were kids.
Though she is definitely all grown up now.
Long blonde hair, big blue eyes, and curves that could bring even the toughest hockey player to his knees. She's the full package, too--smart, funny, and as real as they come.
One might go as far as to say perfect. Except for one tiny detail: Grace is my coach's daughter.
And she just walked back into my life. Apparently she's doing an internship for the team.
The last thing I should do is get close to her again.
So the plan is to keep my distance.
But that plan flies out the window the very first time we run into each other...and I'm naked in the locker room.

This was my first time reading this author, The Breaking Point was a decent quick read.

The dual POV with the past and present story line really showcased just how interconnected Brady and Grace were as well as just how long they were pinning after each other.

Grace is a smart heroine who knows that she wants Brady and is determined to get him. Brady is tormented by his past and feels unworthy because of it.

However, the character development in the book confused me. There were some heavy topics/emotions that the characters handled with grace yet other parts of the book the characters were being very juvenile over small things. It was a little bit confusing.

Overall I did like the story arc of this book with the forbidden romance trope (in more ways than one). Brady and Grace had amazing chemistry and I love the found family aspect for Brady.

Thank you Fallon Greer and Grey’s Promotions for the ARC of this book.

My first read by this author and I know it won't be my last one; I really enjoy a sports romance. It was a great, fun romantic story yet had a few moments that definitely tugged on my heartstrings. I loved the chemistry and banter between Brady & Grace throughout the story. An enjoyable read!

As Grace starts her new intern job, she wants to do great work and not let people think she only got the job as her father's head coach of the team. When she bumps into Brady, there's a lot of unresolved feelings but as he's part of the team, there's a thin line they can't seem to cross. They know each other from when they were younger as Brady grew up with her when he was in her parent's foster care. A lot has happened throughout the years but there's something between them they can't ignore for much longer. When tragedy strikes and Brady spirales onces again, will Grace be able to save himself? Will they find their way to one another after all that's happened?...

So much fun. I have read another novel by this author and enjoyed it. This novel did not disappoint. This novel had so many things I love in a novel, a hockey romance with the main characters were childhood friends to lovers. From the very first few chapters this novel pulled me in and held on tight until the very end. I was so excited to jump into this novel and was not disappointed. I loved Brady and Grace. I loved watching Brady work thru and realize that his childhood friend Grace was meant to his despite her being off limits because her father is his hockey coach. I loved their chemistry together. I loved watching both of them fall in love. Once I started reading I didn't want to put this novel down, I needed to know what was happening next. So good and so much fun. I can't wait to see what this author has coming next.

The Breaking Point is the second book in the Bad Boys Club. Fallon Greer is a newbie in the world of writing. TBP is also the second book that she has written.

This is Grace Dallas and Brady Carmichael’s story. Grace is the coach’s daughter, and she has gotten an internship with the team. Brady is a defenseman for the Los Angeles Blades.

Grace and Brady were childhood friends, and her parents took Brady in as a foster kid. I loved that Grace relentlessly pursued Brady. Brady didn’t think he had any self-worth. Albeit that Grace’s parents didn’t approve of Brady but then they knew the secret that Brady was harboring.

I loved reading The Breaking Point. There were times that I teared up for Brady. That man needed someone to love him! Very well done! There was a part that I was a little confused in. The blurb told us that Grace’s last name was Kensington but while reading the book her parents last name was Dallas and there was a part that said Grace Dallas. That didn’t matter much I was just a little confused. The content of the story made for a very good for me!

Tropes: sports romance, hockey romance, forbidden romance, friends to lovers, unrequited love, second chance.

Grace and Brady have history, with him being fostered in Grace's family. During this time, Grace developed a crush on him. Years later, Grace is now interning with the hockey team he's on, who her dad is also the coach for. What happens when feelings that they thought went away are present and more than just a crush now that they have both grown up.

They both have a lot of overcome, Brady's tortured past and the expectations Grace's parents has of her. The banter and spice is evident between them, no matter how forbidden it may seem since they are former foster siblings. This is the second book in the series and overall, after their debut novel earlier in the year, which was angsty and showcases the strength the characters after overcoming what they needed to.

This is the second book in this series and this is Grace and Brady’s journey.
Brady come to live with Grace’s family as a foster sibling when his mom could not take care of him anymore, and he has had a crush on her since childhood. Now Grace has an internships with the team, and she is the coach’s daughter, which makes her forbidden.
This is a beautifully written story which has family, friendships, emotions, tragedy, secrets, guilt, misunderstandings, humor, witty banter, friends / lovers, undeniable chemistry, communication, second chances, tension, and love, which leads to a spicy, entertaining, unpredictable, tragic, and heartwarming page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This was a TOUGH finish for me. I love sports romance-I like them dark and angsty, I love them light and airy with light angst, but this was just so hard to get hooked on. I felt like in the first two chapters alone every single trope was thrown out way. Brothers best friend, sports romance, goodie two shoes, run around hero, I could really keep going. It definitely tried way too hard, and totally missed the mark for me. The characters felt non genuine, and from start to finish it was just really not for me. I think this shows sign of potential, but I think the author really has to re-examine the flow of the story-possibly re-plot and let things happen more organically in the story. The whole thing seemed forced.
