Mine To Cherish

Rate this book

Otwiera drzwi do swojego pickupa i pomaga jej znaleźć schronienie.

Mine to cherish rozgrzeje serca wszystkich fanów małomiasteczkowych romansów z motywem drugiej szansy.

In Mine to Cherish book three of the Southern Wedding series, Madison gives her readers a story of another wedding coming to an abrupt halt. This time around its Clarabella’s time to walk down the aisle. However, a devastating secret will have her running on her wedding day straight into the arms of the man who owned her heart.

Mine to Cherish features Clarabella and Luke. Clarabella made appearances in the previous books, so it was nice to get her story and follow her on the journey from a disastrous almost wedding to a satisfying happily ever after. Clarabella co-owns a wedding planning event company with her sisters. After the disaster that followed her brother and sister’s initial wedding plans, she didn’t expect to marry soon. However, when her boyfriend sprung a surprise proposal at her thirtieth birthday party, she suddenly finds herself in the middle of major wedding plans. There is one problem: a massive case of pre-wedding jitters, made worse by the shocking revelation, would derail all plans.

Our hero, Luke, is a chef. Now as a chef he has done work with Clarabella’s company. Their interactions, however, went beyond business. Then, after one mind blowing night, which he declared a mistake, he left town without a word. Now he’s back, only to discover that the woman who owned him was engaged to marry another man. It hurt to stand aside and watched the woman he loved marry someone else. So when the opportunity came for him to prove to her she was his to cherish forever, he seized it.

Luke and Clarabella complemented each other. They shared a lot of fun and sexy times. I loved how Luke treated Clarabella throughout the story. There were times, however, when her reaction to some of those moments revealed her insecurities. Her insecurities made her real and relatable. She displayed confidence in her professional life, but matters of the heart was whole different ball game. Despite it all, Luke never wavered in the way he treated her.

Luke also had his share of doubts and insecure moments. However, with the revelation of his past, one can relate to the reasoning behind his actions. It was great to see there wasn’t a lot of conflict between them. It made me happy to see them work through their issues to gain their happily ever after, which they both deserve.

The secondary characters added layers to the story. Clarabella’s relationship with her siblings was a treasure. They were so open with each other. However, sometimes it felt they were a bit too open. Nothing was off limits. Now for Clarabella’s ex, she sure dodged a bullet where he was concerned. Sad to say, men like him exist in reality. Pretend to be nice, but beneath it all a first-class jerk.

The story flowed well, and there were several laugh out loud moments. Mine to Cherish delivered all the elements I enjoy in a romance. A swoon worthy hero, a confident heroine and a sexy, heartwarming romance, which kept reading into the early morning hours. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

I'm running out of things to say about how much I adore Natasha Madison and her ability to make me forget everything and everyone while reading her work. Wedding no. 3, and it's taking place a bit later than originally planned.

Clarabella and Luke have a past that nobody knows about. She is trying to move on but when he comes back to town, her cold feet intensifies. She was struggling with her decision to get married and when her fiancé's secret comes knocking on her door, she becomes a runaway bride.

Luke is struggling with the fact that she has moved on. He knows he has no right to feel angry but his heart is breaking. When a chance is given to make his move, he takes it and is determined to make her his forever this time around. What I love most about these two was her sassy personality and his way of calming her down when she starts to go off the rails. They are made for each other and it was about time that they found the HEA.

I have no words to say how happy Natasha Madison makes me while I read her books. This one too made me cry, laugh and swoon all at once. Now I go back to a place where I'll be biting my nails while the next book in the series comes out. #isitoctoberyet

Clarabella is another of Travis’ sisters that is attempting to take her turn down the aisle. You can tell at the beginning of the story, at the engagement that caught her off guard that maybe she wasn’t completely sold on the idea of getting married. Skip to the wedding day and an already nervous bride gets a surprise visit from someone that isn’t on the guest list. Next thing she knows she is running from the venue and there is only one person in the parking lot that can help with her escape.

Luke is back in town after being gone for six months. He had a once in a life time opportunity to work in NYC with a chef that he idolizes but he knows the way he left things between them was a mistake. Luke & Clarabella had been friends for years and although they both seemed to be attracted to one another they didn’t act upon it until that one night, then Luke left to NYC and unfortunately when he returns he finds that Clarabella has moved on.

I really love this series!!!! Clarabella’s family is so funny and their interactions are so much entertainment. I loved the back & forth and witty banter with Luke & Clarabella. I loved Luke’s patience with her since she is someone that really seems to care what others think even when it is none of their business. I also wasn’t sure why she didn’t confront the ex-fiance in a more aggressive manner.

Clarabella otherwise known as the runaway bride is coming through in Mine To Cherish (Southern Wedding #3). Trust me, she has a damn good reason for running away from her fiancée, Edward. He’s on another level and I wanted to strangle him. And out of all the people in the world who happened to be at the right place at the right time, it had to be Luke. Clarabella loves to hate Luke as they have a past and things didn’t end on a great note. Luke is heading to his secluded cabin in the woods, this is the perfect getaway for Clarabella after the non wedding and….there’s only ONE BED!

Not only does Chef Luke know his way around the kitchen, he definitely knows his way around a woman’s body and he’s gifted with talented hands and other parts. He and Clarabella are on fire with their tantalizing and lust filled sexcapades. I wish that I could have a naked weekend with Luke. They’ve had a connection since college and their snarky banter has been ongoing since their paths crossed again. And they have quite the challenge throughout this book. Clarabella is hesitant to move forward as she’s concerned about people’s perception and is adamant that she doesn’t want anyone other than her family to find out Edward’s secret.

The Southern Wedding series just keeps getting better and better and Mine To Cherish is another five star addition to it. It has a well written storyline flowing with romance, laugh out loud moments and entertaining family banter. Presley is up next in Mine To Love, she’s a pistol and I can’t wait to see how her story plays out.

5 star Review Mine to Cherish (Southern Wedding # 3) by Natasha Madison
Mine to Cherish hooked me from the first word and refused to let me go. I was totally invested in Clarabella and Luke’s second chance at love story. The relationship that she shares with her sisters Presley and Shelby also adds an additional layer to the books.
Each sister has a different personality and there were times that Clarabella had me laughing out loud whilst reading. I was intrigued by Luke the first time he made an appearance and this story just cemented my feelings; I fell for him hard and fast.
Being wedding and event planners, you would think that they have seen it all but when Clarabella becomes a runaway bride, thinks become complicated, even more so when the man who helps her turns out to be Luke, her one night stand and the man who rejected her.
I was so glad that Clareblla ran from Edward, what a jerk, I couldn't stand him. This story was emotional at times, witty, romantic and beautifully written. It ticked all the boxes for me and the chemistry that sizzled between them was steamy.
This book is a little gem that I have no trouble recommending.

Will the first wedding curse continue? As Clarabella gets ready to walk down the aisle, she gets some unsettling information. Will she be a runaway bride?

Will the second time be the one for her? It worked for her siblings. As this family has a rather unlucky streak of getting the first wedding to the “I do’s”. But if it worked the first time, we would miss all the fun, sisterly love, and shenanigans.

Luke is the one to pick up the runaway bride, the person he had an unforgettable night with six months ago. Is the chemistry still there?

I am adoring this series, and I am excited about the next book!

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

Divertido, ligero y agradable a partes iguales. Luke y Clarabella estaban destinados a estar juntos.

I love these books so much! Natasha Madison is always my go-to author when I want something fun. No matter what type of book it is, the banter is always on point. Not to mention the family bonds and just how close they are is another favorite.

I loved Clarabella and Luke. These two are absolutely perfect for one another. I get why she was hesitant to open herself up to him, but I'm so glad she did. I loved Luke. He never stopped fighting for what he wanted.

I can't wait to see more of these two in Presley's book.

UGH. So I skipped the previous book because I read a review that made me WANT to skip it (so no regrets there) BUT, what I do regret, is reading this shit.

First of all, Clarebella the h, was just so insufferable and annoying. 😭😭 Just SUCH a pain 🙄🙄 And PLS, what woman accepts a proposal from a man she met TWO MONTHS AGO. And then when the wedding day arrives, she finds out that he was in a four year relationship and he basically abandoned that woman because he chose his stuckup family over her. BUT he then went and had a baby with the woman but was basically shacking up with our Clarabella here. Now my issue was, was that when she found out, her reaction was SO STUPID. She was acting like Louise (the woman who had the baby) was rhe other woman. BUT if we're being specific, Clarebella was literally the OTHER WOMAN IN THIS. Anyways idk I just felt soooo bad for Louise, poor woman.

By the way this asshole she was going to marry was in no way the H. The Hero's name is Luke. And their relationship was also extremely stupid and literally had no depth, all they were doing was having sex and talking about sex throughout the story. LIKE I hated this. 🗑

Widząc wybiegającą z sali Clarabellę, mężczyzna wpuszcza ją do swojego samochodu i pomaga jej znaleźć bezpieczną przystań.

Jednak dwa poprzednie tomy, trafiły do mnie bardziej. Uwielbiam klimat małego miasteczka w tej serii, uwielbiam go i chłonę całą sobą.

„Mine to Cherish” to trzeci tom serii „Długo i szczęśliwie”.

Jeśli lubicie delikatne, romantyczne i zarazem namiętne historie, pełne intryg i świetnej zabawy, serdecznie polecam całą serię „Długo i szczęśliwie”.

This is the third book in the Southern Wedding series, a funny, sexy, friends-to-lovers/sort-of-second-chance romance that made me laugh and swoon, and I loved it.

It’s Clarabella’s turn to take a walk down the aisle. Her engagement was sprung on her with a proposal in front of all of her friends, family and colleagues, and she felt obliged to say yes. She’s been caught up in the wedding planning, and now it’s her wedding day and she’s feeling all sorts of nerves. And then a surprise guests flips her world upside down with news she was never expecting, and before she knows it, she’s dumped her douchebag fiancé and is sprinting out the door.

Luke is a chef who sometimes works with Clarabella and her sisters and their event planning business. The two of them spent an incredible night together six months previously, right before he took off for New York City and left her without a word. Now he’s back in town and gutted to find out that Clarabella is engaged. He’s on his way to spend the weekend drunk at his cabin and just happens to be right outside of where her wedding is taking place when she comes running out. What’s a gentleman to do other than help out a friend? So he sweeps her up into his truck and takes her with him to his isolated cabin in the woods… with no clothes, and one bed.

“There is no Wi-Fi?” I ask, shocked. “How can that be? There are signals everywhere.” I look around at the denseness of the trees. The sun has gone down, and the only lights are the headlights.
“The only thing the cabin has is running water and electricity,” he informs me.
“Is this
The Hunger Games?”

It’s a fun set-up, made all the more awesome by the history between Luke and Clarabella, which brings chemistry to each and every scene. It’s clear that they have a thing for each other, it’s also clear that Clarabella’s engagement was a huge mistake, which clears the way for something to happen between them – even if she’s still pissed about the way he left her after their night together.

Let’s be real; there is nothing I hate about Luke. I mean, I’m sure once my head isn’t cloudy the way it is right now, I will come up with things to hate about him. Like having the best sex of my life and then leaving me. Yeah, hate that about him.

“Of all people to rescue me, it had to be you.” This is the universe kicking me in the vagina without even batting an eye.

They bicker and banter, and the sexual tension sizzles, and before too long, all of that chemistry explodes into super-hot sexy time. But so much more than sex, there’s an emotional element to it as they finally get a chance to explore all of those feelings that they’ve been trying hard to hide.

Just being near her does crazy things to me. Stuff that I’ve never felt before. With her, everything seems to come so naturally. With her, every single touch is like an electric shock. With her, every kiss feels like the first. With her, every single second I want to spend touching her, even if it’s just her hand or to tuck her hair around her ear. It’s fucking everything.

But real life is waiting for them, and though they’re both keen to keep exploring everything that is between them, Clarabella is worried about the perception that she is moving on so quickly. She left a mess behind, has a bitter ex fiancé, and does want everybody in town to see her flaunting a new man. It’s a bit of an awkward situation, and there is some drama as she picks up her life and they figure out what’s going on between them, but it’s not angsty, and I loved just sitting back and watching them sort it all out.

I love these characters. Clarabella is so relatable, and Luke is just gorgeous – funny and smart, he’s such a gentleman but with a side of wickedness, and I loved him. And Clarabella’s family are once again on deck, in fine form, and stealing every scene that they are in. They are such an entertaining bunch – their obvious care for each other but constant teasing and bickering is hilarious. They have zero boundaries, their group texts are freaking gold, and there are SO many moments in this book that had me laughing out loud at their antics and conversations. Poor Luke is swept up in the middle of it, and just goes with the flow (I mean, the poor man has little other choice). They are truly amazing, and I love seeing so much of them.

Luke and Clarabella’s love story is sweet, sexy, natural, honest, functional, sexy and emotional. It finishes beautifully, with an epilogue that provides satisfying closure, and that left me swooning.

“It has always been and will forever be you.”

Loved this one, and can’t wait for Presley’s story up next!

Travis: It’s like the family is cursed for weddings. Presley, I’m not coming to your first wedding.
Presley: AS IF AFTER WATCHING THE TRAIN WREK OF MY FAMILY TRYING TO GET MARRIED, I WOULD EVEN ATTEMPT IT! FUCK THAT SHIT. SINGLE WOLF FOR LIFE.

(hehehe)

4 stars.

Once again Natasha did not disappoint. I’m just so obsessed with her books and emotionally invested in all the characters. I have probably read most of her books twice and most likely I’ll read this book again. The Southern Wedding series is my favorite and I love seeing these siblings almost get married 😂Luke and Clarabella were perfect for each other. I loved how once they cleared up the misunderstandings, they focused on their relationship. Can’t wait to see what’s next in the store for us.

Luke is back in town after being away for six months, and Clarabella is not exactly thrilled. After all, their last encounter was Luke saying they were a mistake and proceeding to peace out of town. Now he is back with regrets about how he handled their last time together.

Unfortunately, Clarabella is heading down the aisle, but not without second thoughts. When she discovers something on her wedding day, she finds herself running away from the aisle and into a getaway car with Luke on the helm.

Six months have definitely not dulled the tension between Luke and Clarabella. Albeit awkward, their reunion was filled with tension that gives us readers insight into why they had that fling in the first place. It does not let up from there, and we get delicious spicy moments between these two.

I love a man who knows his way around the kitchen, and when you add someone who likes being in control and knows how to assert himself without being a jerk? Yeah, Luke solidifies his spot as one of my favorite MMCs.

I want to give poor Clarabella a hug. I found her to be totally relatable. With a family that is already full of strong personalities and continuously grows with people that have an even bigger presence, her shy, self-conscious personality tends to take a backseat to everyone else's opinions. We see this when her fiance asserts his needs as her own and even when her well-intentioned sisters try to plan her wedding events. While I love that Luke tries to stand up for her, I especially love her character development in finding her voice.

I cannot say enough about how much I love this family. Sure, they need to learn some healthy boundaries, but all of their actions are driven by love.

This book can be read as a standalone, but as someone who adores this family and their love stories so far, I highly recommend starting from the beginning. Speaking of, the official countdown to my favorite sister has begun. Presley, you are in danger (of falling in love), girl.

** I am voluntarily reviewing an advance copy of this book. Thank you to Natasha Madison and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing an ARC. **

Let me start this review by telling you I am absolutely loving this series. The highlight for me is the relationship between Clarabella, Shelby and Presley. OMG I absolutely adore these sisters. Their interactions make me laugh out loud and smile lots. Their banter is, as always, on point throughout this narrative. The whole Baker family are blessed with fantastic personalities, and I love that they can make the tensest of situations less strained by a few perfectly spoken words.

I could have read Clarabella’s story in one sitting, only I had to sleep. Hooked from the very first chapter, I didn’t want to put my Kindle down. As much as I hated to see Clarabella hurt and especially on her wedding day, I do believe that she has had a lucky escape as she was never meant for anyone other than Luke. The interactions, connection and sexual tension between the pair showed me how perfect they are for each other. I loved witnessing their story unfold.

There are plenty of sizzling sexy scenes throughout this story, and they are penned perfectly to enhance the storyline and not overpower it. I know that every reader is going to fall in love with Luke as he is perfect in every way. Everyone needs their very own Luke to sweep them off their feet and save the day!

There is much less repetitiveness of scenes at the start of each chapter than in the previous books, for which I am thankful for. I am not a fan of that writing style, much preferring the storyline to flow seamlessly and progress without any repeats.

I thoroughly enjoyed the way this story made me feel whilst I was reading it. I cannot recommend this series highly enough. I can’t wait to see what happens next for Presley when Mine To Love releases in October. Will she become a spinster cat lady or will she realise there is a man out there who will rock her world?

What a brilliant book. This series just keeps getting better and better. I truly believe that as this world grows, it becomes that much more perfect. I was totally hooked from the first chapter and when you realize it's all going to go left, you're not surprised and just knew something wasn't right with Edward. But you do want Clarabella to have her happy. And then in walks Luke.

Although Luke has been around before you don't really see him for what he is for what a beautiful human he is. I know I'm waffling but I can't really say and express what I want without giving the story away. Just know it's a beautiful love story that gives you all the feels, the tears, and the laughs.

This book is a huge recommendation for me.

⭐️ 4.5 "Runaway Bride" Stars ⭐️
Each novel in the Southern Wedding Series has been so entertaining, but I must say that Mine to Cherish is my favorite so far! As it was the case with the previous books, this story balanced humor, feelings and passion.

After Clarabella's disastrous wedding day that turned her into a runaway bride, Luke was their to save her. This was the perfect occasion for him to play for keeps. Clarabella and Luke's romance was so amazing. I liked their connection that was so profound and palpable. They had a past together that left them hurt, but communication was the key this time around to take their relationship to the next level.

The Baker sisters as usual were so funny together. Their crazy antics were hilarious. Their brother Travis and mother also brought a great dose of humor to the mix. Mine to Cherish was another fantastic book from Natasha Madison! The supporting cast is what makes this series that enjoyable and I just can't wait for Presley's book. I feel like I've been waiting for her and Bennett's romance for so long! Mine to Love can't release soon enough!

Natasha Madison is an auto buy author for me. So any book she releases, I'm going to read it. Plus since know her style and format, I know I'm going to fully enjoy the story. (as well as fall head over heels for the characters)

Mine to Cherish was everything I expected it to be. From the night with her friend Luke, to the heartache that followed, to meeting someone new, and everything that built on that new relationship. Then the time came for Clarabella to walk down the aisle. That was when the first moment of conflict/drama appeared. Then Luke was on site, and was able to help with the runaway moment.

This second chance for Clarabella and Luke had me smiling throughout. There was romance, there was steam, there was frustration, there was conflict, not to mention healing, and finding your person.

Such a good story. Loved the characters. Fabulous setting. Cannot wait for the next in the series.

I will say this poor family has bad luck at the altar! Or at least the first time. 🤣

As with the previous siblings stories and their weird and wacky weddings, you knew you were in for another one🤦‍♀️

So because of what happened with the previous weddings in her family ClaraBella was not ready to get married. But when her boyfriend proposed in front of a crowd at her birthday party she had no choice right...As usual things never go as planned in this family and weddings 😂

Luke is a chef and has worked with ClaraBella's Company before. These two had an attraction between them but when they had their one night together and Luke left town after declaring it was a mistake. Now his back in town, but the woman he wants is engaged to someone else... But fate his its own plans for these two...

As usual this book had it all. Laughter, fun and so much more. I loved Luke and ClaraBella's interactions with each other. Luke is funny, sweet but definitely hot and sexy. ClaraBella is such a cool character. I loved her and I loved her family and their closeness. I enjoyed getting lost in their story and working through their misunderstandings. Awesome story

This is the 3rd book in this amazing series, and this is Luke and Clarabella’s story. These two have a secret history, and when she has cold feel and some information comes to her attention, she becomes a runaway bride, and Luke helps her escape. These two have some curveballs thrown at them along the way, and the chemistry between them is combustible and undeniable. This is a well written story which has end chances, romance, challenges, emotions, secrets, heartbreak, humor, witty banter, family, friendships, and love, which leads to an entertaining page turner, with laugh-out-loud moments throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Who doesn’t love a wedding? Well, get ready for some fun banter, a few crazy situations, a lot of steamy moments but most importantly, a wedding that doesn’t happen. It seems that a wedding without a hitch would be a crazy happening with this family and the Mine to Cherish storyline keeps the tradition in tact.
Clarabella and Luke have known each other for years and now that Luke is back in town, it appears that fate is throwing them together and letting the sparks fly and their chemistry ignite.
