Sophia’s wedding may have gone wrong, but it leads to a solo honeymoon where her re-virginized state may not survive an aggravating yet hunky, food-porn chef.
Rebel Warren does it again with her second spicy and hilarious romantic comedy! Sophia and Giovanni have an insta-hate/insta-attraction and a very funny meet cute. I love that although they were both very attracted to each other, Giovanni falls fast and harder. I also loved that there was a lot of witty banter and pining and no third act breakup. Thank you to Rebel Warren for giving me the opportunity to read this early.
Oh god. It’s 11pm but I just couldn’t put it down! This story? *chefs kiss*
If anyone knows how to write SPICY romcoms, it’s REBEL WARREN.
The banter between Gio and Sophia starts right off the bat and it doesn’t stop. The pranks, the innuendos, the undeniable chemistry. I was giggling and smiling all the way through ☺️
I need more of them 😩 I need….to be… a pineapple 🍍
Then the Hawai‘i references? I lit up everytime I saw one 🥰 The quilts, the poké, the chili pepper water, and more!
And lastly, I loved seeing the progressing stages of reaching self-love 💗
Yall.... I have been waiting for MONTHS for Rebel Warren to release her 2nd book and IT DELIVERED. Rom-coms are my first love and Rebel's books are some of my favorites.
In Book 1, we met Sophia- who at the end, found out her fiancé was a lying cheating asshole, while at the alter. Book 2 picks up a few weeks later, Sophia is ready to prove she's as "strong as a palm tree" and at the urging of her step-sister, goes to Hawaii on her un-honeymoon with her bff Amelia. However, things never seem to turn out in Sophia's favor the first time... She arrives in Hawaii on the coattails of a hurricane, there's no rental cars left, the town taxi is a farm truck, and a good looking stranger seems to have taken all her reservations. It's okay though, Sophia is out to prove she's got nothing left to lose...
Gio is back in Hawaii, where he grew up, to film so cooking content for his social media channel and provide some in person cooking classes at the resort. He's actually internet famous... Uh Have you all watched Donut Daddy videos on IG or TikTok? (no? go do it lol) Well, that's the same line of baking that Gio's profession is currently. Oh yes! The man has the most delicious cupcakes and salami haha However, Sophia stole his bungalow reservation where he was set to film and now it's War.
I loved these two so much. I loved their banter, their pranks, their trying to one up the other one. And the fact that other people were in on it made it so much funnier- I see you Jaz! I love a slow burn, and Insta-Hate definitely delivers but once that line is crossed it's Fireworks for sure! I cracked up so much, but also, I loved watching these enemies to lovers grow and find one another. It was beautiful.
Also, I loved seeing the references to book 1 and the end seeing Jeanie and Nathan and Betty again. But I think my favorite character was Matt, Gio's social media guru. He was like a grown up Freddie from book 1 HAHAHA. Go read these!
When I saw that Rebel was making book two in this series, I was so excited. Book one was one of the funniest things I've ever read. I was laughing so loud and having a great time. This book was no different. From the immediate Inst-Hate, there was comedy. From missing shoes, to attack chickens, everything was set up perfectly for the MMC, Gio, and the FMC, Sophia to absolutely hate each other, instead they fell in love. I think this still had some really hilarious moments, but to me this was deeper and more heartwarming than book one. With Sophia, she's coming (sorta) out of an almost wedding, she's on her honeymoon but alone and her bedroom issues are/have been such a big problem she's basically given up hope. Here comes Gio, half in love with her already, to well not save the day directly obviously but in a round about way. From Tina, to Jaz to Matt, the secondary characters were so great and meddlesome that so many of my laughs came from them as well as Gio and Sophia because if they weren't pranking each other, the Tina or Jaz was definitely doing some meddling of their own. I loved Gio's job, I don't want to give spoilers but it was so funny and having his be actually good at it is just a bonus because now that I think about it, it never occurred to me if the food was good... because I wasn't paying attention. Thank you to Rebel for allowing me to ARC read, I'm so excited for Amelia's story and Betty's!
What a fun read! This starts right after the end of book one with Sophia on her un-honeymoon in Hawaii. She meets Gio when he takes the last rental car and ends up at the same resort. That starts their war on each other. Their insta hate turns to more as they end up spending more time together. He helps her stand up to Roman when he turns up. The banter and chemistry between Sophia and Gio was so good. They complimented each other so well and had so much fun together. He supported her and helped her come out of her shell and stand up for herself.
I have been waiting very impatiently for this book! After reading Weddings, Revenge, & Fake Dating last year, I became a Wolfie for life. I fell in love with all the quirky characters and knew this was a must read series for me. @RebelWarrenAuthor did not disappoint with this one.
After Sophia epically walks out of her wedding with Roman she needs to regroup and rebalance. She decides she is going on her unhoneymoon and Roman can go kick rocks. She is also having her BFF Amelia fly into Hawaii to enjoy the vacation with her. Sophia also decides she is going to find her first love, Adam, and see if there is a spark she can rekindle.
Things go sideways when she can't get a rental car but somehow the guy in line behind gets one. Giovanni offers her a ride but she is stubborn and says she's calling the ride share the car rental place told her about. She ends up riding in a truck with chickens and a few farm animals. Gio is behind her on the highway and she is seething. When she sees they are at the same hotel she bribes the front desk to steal his suite. She ends up in a gorgeous bungalow on the beach.
Gio needed that bungalow to film his cooking videos. Gio Salami is a big deal on social media. He has to strike up a deal with his nemesis Sophia to get to use that kitchen. He agrees to 'help' her find Adam in exchange for use of the kitchen.
Let the games begin! Nonstop funny banter, pranks, and absolutely hilarious moments fill this book. Sophia and Gio get themselves into crazy situations and somehow they each get to see a deeper side of one another and it's perfect.
I 100% recommend this book if you like romcoms. I literally wiped tears from eyes from laughing twice within the first 5 chapters. I promise Rebel does not disappoint and you will get an update on Jeanie and Nathan at the end!
This book was EXACTLY what I needed after a series of soul crushing reads. Listen…heartbreaking stories are my THING. I LIVE FOR THEM! But sometimes my anxiety needs a break and I need to laugh until I cry and swoon and that is EXACTLY what Rebel Warren gave me!!
This book picks up where book 1 leaves off , BUT, you can easily read this one without reading the first. But why would you want to do that? The first book was just as amazing as this one!!
In the last book we see Sophia do an epic move of serious bad b energy by walking out on her d bag of an ex fiancé , Roman, at their wedding. And that’s exactly where we pick up here. Sophia is in desperate need of an escape after her disaster of a wedding goes viral, so she decides to go on an un-honeymoon on her own to Hawaii, determined to have fun and look up her ex from 10 years ago.
Girl can’t catch a break to save her life, and the chaos continues when she can’t get a rental car, but the guy behind her can. He instantly becomes her enemy because, MEN! (IYKYK) He offers to give her a ride but she would rather set herself on fire than take his help and decides to use the ride share the car rental offers which lands her in the back of a truck with chickens 💀
Gio is in Hawaii to film for his spicy cooking content and he can’t help but laugh as he watches the spunky blonde who stared daggers at him at the airport , riding in the back of a truck with chickens. He realises they are heading to the same hotel and apparently Sophia has realised this and has bribed the hotel to give her his suite as payback for the car. Now Sophia is on Gios list of annoyances. He needs that suite to use the kitchen to film his content. She reluctantly strikes a deal with him. He can use the kitchen if he helps her find her ex. And he agrees.
They end up spending some crazy chaotic time together. Finding themselves in the funniest and most insane situations. Gio can’t help but be attracted to her. Slowly starting to fall for her. But Sophia is having NONE OF IT! She hilariously rejects him at every turn but it only makes him want her more.
Eventually they can’t resist the attraction to each other and things get spicy in a delicious way. I love Gio and Sophia together. He truly showed her what it’s like to be loved and didn’t try to stifle her craziness. And Sophia appreciated how kind and caring he was with her. Best un-honeymoon ever! 🩷

Rebel Warren has a gift for writing rom-coms. The ability to write a book that makes you laugh out loud moments that are genuine and organic is something few people can do. Rebel has proven with her second book that her first book wasn’t luck, but skill and perfect timing. In a movie you have sounds, props, and a visual representation of the comedy in a rom-com. Yet in a book a joke can easily fall flat, but not with Rebel.
Book two follows Sophie, bride to be from book one, as she goes on her un-honeymoon with her best friend instead of her terrible fiance. She is ready to show everyone that she is strong and ready to stand on her own. Due to her new stand on my own two feet attitude, she doesn’t let the hardships that keep popping up when she arrives in Hawaii. I loved seeing Sophie being strong and independent. I grew to love her character in book one and was excited to see her getting her own story and chance to find real love.
Gio is returning home to Hawaii. He is excited to be home again and to continue to grow his food influencer brand online. He has quite the following, is ready to gain more, and even start cooking classes at resorts in his home state. When he finds out his reservation has been given to someone else who isn’t willing to budge on giving it back, he isn’t giving up on his dreams. This leads to an all out prank war with a woman he wants to spend more and more time with. Falling in love wasn’t on his list of things to do, but now that he has met Sophie, he can’t let her leave.
Rebel has written an amazing story once again! From the MCs to side characters, everyone plays an integral part to Sophie and Gio’s story. And don’t worry, she brings the comedy, but doesn’t fail to deliver the romance as well. Sophie and Gio had so much sizzle between them. Their dislike to love (while always being attracted to each other) was a fun, heat filled read that Rebel held nothing back on. I can’t wait to see what she writes next as I will read anything she writes!
As always, review any author notes before reading.
What to Expect: 😂Unavoidable Proximity 💖Enemies to Lovers 😂Pranks, Banter, Pining 💖He Falls First 😂RomCom Movie Vibes 💖Hate Kisses 😂No 3rd Act Breakup
Tropes: Runaway Bride Social Media Chef Sweet & Spicy Rom-Com Hawaii Enemies to Lovers Banter & Pranks Loveable Side Characters
I should have been ready for how hilarious this story was, but I wasn't😅 The banter and pranks in this story are top-notch! The perfect enemies to lovers, sweet & spicy Rom-Com for the summer! Also, I kinda wanna be a pineapple now too😉🤭
Sophia ran away from her wedding after finding out that her fiance had been cheating on her. Now she's in Hawaii to find her "boyfriend" from a decade ago to rekindle their relationship. Only problem is that the last car was just rented out by an infuriatingly handsome "gentleman".
Giovanni has a month to film sinfully delicious recipes in Hawaii and for that, he needs a car. With zero regrets he "steals" the last rental car and unknowingly has started a war with Sophia.
The banter and pranks in this book had me laughing, more than I've laughed in a while! It kept me guessing about how one was going to out prank the other! Then everyone else joining in and pranking both Giovanni & Sophia🤣
The progression of their relationship going from enemies to lovers was interesting and comedy itself. Especially Sophia's internal monologues had me giggling😅 The "hate" they felt and the frustration of being attracted to the enemy was a struggle that both felt, but handled differently.
The internet flirting these two had going on was 🔥🔥 2 viral individuals coming together; it was a literal match made in heaven! Sophia getting her revenge on Roman was pure genius! The spice in this book was spicing and in very creative ways!
And with just as much sweetness as there was spice. Giovanni is the ultimate book boyfriend! Even with my hard line of never dating chef's I was beginning to fall for him too!
I was surprised, but grateful that Sophia didn't make a huge deal about the secret Giovanni kept. It even helped confirm her feelings for him. I do have to say, I think Matt won the prank war in this story!
I very much enjoyed this story and how it brought a joyful take on the characters' not so joyful life situations. Let's not forget the wonderful Hawaiian representation and advocating to use local Hawaiians and Hawaiian owned business!
Can't wait to read whatever's next in the series!!
Oh this was so much fun!!! I loved the first book, and it can be tough to follow up on such a good debut, but Rebel Warren did not disappoint!! I just loved reading Sophia and Gio so much!! Getting to see Sophia come from her un-wedding and work to find herself was so beautiful! And I was so glad that she had her bestie Amelia with her on her journey; cause we often see the FMC go on these self-reflection journeys alone, but it was so much better to see these two in this chaos together, and I think Sophia needed her best friend in that moment! It was just so fun to see her open back up to Gio and realize how much Gio truly cared, even through the teasing and prank war! And Gio was such a sweet MMC and I just loved him so much!! His shenanigans on the island with Tina and Jaz were so much fun to watch, and then to watch him figure out how to "help" Sophia with her old flame mission was a good time! Plus watching him protect her from Roman and just generally take care of her was so incredibly sweet and swoony (and exciting!)!! I just loved seeing these come together in such a fun way and allowing each other to come tot heir own realizations in their own time!! And all of the side characters were so much fun, I just had a blast through the whole book!! Overall, I loved this one so much and I can't wait for the next book!! 4.5 stars; 3.5 chili peppers
Tropes: - Forced Proximity - Vacation Fling - Prank War - Meddling Family - Hate to Love - Pining and Banter
Insta-Hate, Hijinks & Happy Endings was such a fun and hilarious read. I was laughing from the very beginning until the end. I loved that side characters played a huge part in this book, and I was happy they were there. Sophia was a side character Ish during book one, but I loved her character. I was excited to see her grow into herself during this book.
If I had to describe this book, I would say it is a story of a woman that comes into her own and a man that is feral for her. This is also a book with no 3rd act breakup which I really did appreciate.
Also, Hurricane Roman could not be more properly named! Unfortunately, there are men like this in the world and Rebel Warren wrote him perfectly.
I know I said it was funny, but it was also sexy af too! Gio being a food porn chef, he was always ready for the one-liners. You do have to wait for the spice to fully hit but when it does, you won’t be disappointed. They made me blush a few times, some of my favorite quotes are below.
“Now be a good girl and give me what I want”
“Don’t act like you could handle playing rough with me, kitten”
Rebel’s back at it with Sophia and Giovanni and this time they’re in Hawaii. She’s a hell kitten according to Giovanni, and he is a food porn chef with a social media following. Together they are a blend of chaos, fun, adventure, and steamy chemistry. This is the best kind of enemies to lovers. You know the kind where they act like they hate each other, but there’s a mutual attraction. She has curves for days and he has pecs and abs you just need to grab. When Sophia goes away on her would be honeymoon, she’s desperate for a break. But, when she meets Giovanni at the airport car rental, it’s anything but peaceful. In fact, it’s a bit of a bumpy road– quite literally. He loves pushing her buttons, and she likes telling him off. And guess what – they end up at the same hotel. I loved their banter, and even though he gives her a hard time, he is very sweet and understanding, and he is also a protector. What I love most about Giovanni is that he will do anything for Sophia. What I love most about Sophia is that she is strong and determined and will not let Giovanni get away with anything. If you love banter, steamy chemistry, and lots of adventure, with some found family, put on your heart-shaped glasses and jump in enjoy the ride! Aloha
What was supposed to be the happiest day of Sophia's life ended up in total disappointment. Sophia ends up going on her honeymoon without her ex-fiance because she is determined to salvage some of her dignity and find herself. She figures she could also find her ex-boyfriend from a decade ago and see if they could rekindle the flame.
She lands in Hawaii and can't seem to get a car rental due to the fact her ex had already taken the rental reservation. Livid, she notices the guy behind her, and he miraculously gets the last rental available. From then on, Gio and Sophia suddenly become arch enemies. They seem to antagonize one another throughout their entire trip, which from an outsider's POV is quite hilarious.
Over time, Giovanni can't help but feel attracted to Sophia even though no matter what, she won't give him the time of day. Their comedic banter is pure gold because it just further establishes their growing sexual tension. Eventually, they agree to deal with one another as long as they each get what they want without the other bothering. Although, in forced proximity, it seems like the sexual tension between one another will eventually combust.
"Sophia and I are more alike than expected. We’re a mess of broken trusts, broken dreams, and broken hearts."

Thank you to the author for the opportunity read and review and this book.
This is book 2 in the series, and it can be read as a standalone. I do recommend you read book 1 as it’s just as fabulous.
We meet Sophia in book 1 as the bride who finds out her fiancé is cheating on her, and she does what most of us would do: punch him and get out. Sophia decides to go on their honeymoon to Hawaii to find an ex flame. But as soon as she arrives on the island, things go from bad to worse and that’s where she meets Gio, who Sophia hates. The two are thrown together after the resort worker felt sorry for Sophia but who also knows Gio and is part of a plot to bring them together.
What I love most about Rebel’s writing is how funny and delightful her characters are. I loved Sophie from page 1. She is absolutely delightful. The whole taxi ride scenario made me howl with laughter, especially witnessing it all from Gio’s POV.
I found Gio and Sophia to be brilliant. Their instant-hate for each other was written with such humour, you honestly couldn’t wait for them to finally give in and when they do it is 👩🍳 💋 I adored Gio and how he clearly just wanted her, but he waited for Sophia to open her eyes.
I loved the other characters too, especially Tina. She was hilarious.
I’m not going to lie, but after reading this book, I found some rather hot naked Instagram chefs and well, I thank Rebel for creating Gio 🤣
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
– Spicy, Hilarious, and Full of Heart!
Insta-Hate, Hijinks & Happy Endings by Rebel Warren is everything I want in a romantic comedy and more! From the first page, I was hooked by the banter, the chemistry, and the absolutely chaotic (in the best way) hijinks. The “insta-hate” between the characters had me laughing out loud, and the tension? Whew—off the charts spicy!
Rebel Warren knows how to balance humor with heart. Just when I thought I was in it just for the laughs, the story hit me with genuine emotion and depth. The characters were lovable, flawed, and totally swoon-worthy. I especially loved how the story embraced the messiness of love and life while still delivering a perfectly satisfying, feel-good ending.
This was such a fun ride—rom-com fans, spicy romance lovers, and anyone in need of a mood boost, this one’s for you. Can't wait to dive into more from this series!
I loved this book so much! I loved Gio and Sophia from their very first interaction—their banter and obvious chemistry despite the insta-hate for each other—was so fun. I had a smile on my face throughout my entire read.
We met Sophia in book 1 when she walked away from her wedding with Roman and this book is her journey to finding herself and her happily ever after. She doesn't expect to meet Gio Salami (lol), who is a big deal on social media in his own right. Sophia is now on her un-honeymoon to find herself and crosses paths with Gio over and over again.
What happens when Gio steals her rental car and Sophia steals his bungalow in retribution, where he is supposed to be doing work while in Hawaii? Cue all the pranks and banter that will have you laughing out loud, while also hoping that they realize how attracted they are to each other and how meant to be they are... they are PERFECTION together.
I LOVED this book so much... I have to say it again. Rebel Warren is the QUEEN of rom-com and I will forever read what she writes. SO WELL DONE!
+ Enemies to Lovers + He Falls First + Rom-Com Feels + Hilarious Banter + Vacation Romance + HEA
Sophia’s wedding ended in a very viral disaster, leaving her trending all over the internet. She decides to take her un-honeymoon and escape the train-wreck that is her life. Hawaii is supposed to be a dream vacation but turns into a nightmare when she meets a handsome stranger. She makes an instant enemy and unintentionally entered in a battle of wills with a sexy chef named Giovanni. He is as beautiful as he is infuriating. Sophia is on a mission to meet and light an old flame while Gio is determined to sabotage her at every turn. The only thing stronger than their hatred is their off the charts chemistry. They say there’s a thin line between love and hate, right?
This book was SUCH a good time!! I am a SUCKER for he falls first and Rebel knocked this rom-com out of the park. I loved this book so much and cannot wait to own a physical copy in my hands. If you are looking for a hilarious, sexy and over all good time, look no further!!
Second book in a interconnected stand alone series. Although the story picks up where the first left off, you dont need to read book 1 to understand. Although, I HIGHLY suggest going back and reading Weddings, Revenge & Fake Dating because it’s just as great!!
I am obsessed with Gio and Sophia! I love that they were annoyed with each other right out of the gate. The pranks and tricks they played on each other were pretty great. I love that none of it was really mean though, it was all in good fun. The banter in this book between not just the MC's, but all the characters was chef kiss. I looooove banter and this book had it in spades.
One of my favorite scenes was the pineapple eating contest. I want to be a pineapple. While this is more of a vacation romance, it still had a small town feel to it. Rebel did a great job of transporting us to Hawaii as well. I really felt like I was there while reading this book.
This was a slow burn but 100% worth it. Once the spice kicks in, it's off to the races. Plus there's no 3rd act break up which made me very happy.
4.5⭐️/ 3🌶️ What a fun read! I basically just absorbed this book in one day. And honestly I would’ve read it faster if I hadn’t been so tired from a night of little sleep the day before. This book had so much fun banter, spicy tension & chemistry, found family, pining, rediscovering of oneself, and more. The way Gio just adored Sophia, worshipped every part of her personality, boosted her confidence, provided her safety to be vulnerable… he was such a freaking sweetheart. I love him. And Sophia was a little firecracker. She was absolutely hilarious, and I loved her transformation through the book. No unnecessary drama, which I wish was true in more romances! I truly loved all of the characters in this book, and I hope to continue to hear more of their crazy antics in the rest of the series. Such an entertaining and enjoyable book!
I loved Sophia. I loved Gio. Both of them together? Perfection. Their banter is off the charts funny, they feed off each other so well. From the get-go the fun starts. Sophia gets to Hawaii for her un-honeymoon where she encounters Gio & they have the funniest meet-cute. Gio gets the last rental car & she has to take a ride in a jalopy truck with barnyard animals, the scene is hilarious. Then at the hotel, she steals his very upgraded room & let's just say.......it doesn't ever stop. Their hijinks are amazing, their attraction & chemistry will burn holes in your retinas.
There really are so many fun adventures and the people surrounding them are pretty funny too. I loved their happy ending, cookies and all. This is a wild ride so buckle up!
When Sophia's love life implodes, she decides to take her honeymoon vacation anyway and invites her best friend to join here. She's determined to track down an old flame, and there's really no better time to reconnect with someone than while on your honeymoon without your new husband, right?! What should have been a relaxing and rejuvenating Hawaiian trip turns into an aggravated, prank filled, wild ride when Giovanni, a sexy famous chef, crashes the party...
I loved everything about this hilarious story! The chemistry between Sophia and Giovanni was as explosive as a volcano. The mutual attraction and secret pining had me begging for the two to give up their fued and just make out! The supporting characters made the plot better and truly added depth to the story. Anyone looking for a spicy, laugh out loud funny game of love and war needs to check out Insta-Hate, Hijinks & Happy Endings!
Heavy on the Hijinks and I am here for it! This was hilarious and fun and surprisingly heartfelt. I loved the chaos that Sophia brought everywhere she went, all of our side characters and their own personal brands of chaos, and obviously Giovanni Salami. We’ve got a prank war, a social media thirst trap chef, so many farm animals, a gorgeous setting, one bed(room), a sprinkling of hurt/comfort, some cookies that sound phenomenal, and some serious personal growth. I came for the chaos and stayed for the feelings. And can we talk about Gio and his incredible vibes? He’s sexy and funny and great at the pranking, but he’s also soft and caring and so sweet, plus charming and ambitious and amazing. I loved this book.
The banter between Gio and Sophia starts right off the bat and it doesn't stop. The pranks, the innuendos, the undeniable chemistry. I was giggling and smiling all the way through I need more of this couple asap!
Also I want to be... a pineapple IYKYK
I 100% recommend this book if you like romcoms. I literally wiped tears from eyes from laughing twice within the first 5 chapters. I promise Rebel does not disappoint and you even get an update on Jeanie and Nathan at the end!
𝕊𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕞𝕪 𝕗𝕒𝕧𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕖 𝕢𝕦𝕠𝕥𝕖𝕤: “A night, a week, months, a lifetime . . . you say how long. I’ll take whatever you give me. I’m desperate for you.”
“You did it, my greedy girl. I knew you would. So goddamn perfect. So fucking beautiful.”
Insta-Hate Hijinks & Happy Endings is hands down one of the best reads of 2025! It keeps you on your toes and keeps you in stitches ’till the end!
Sophia is recovering from a broken heart trying to enjoy her unhoneymoon with her bestie while battling it out with her new sworn enemy and recovering the fire from within.
Gio is heartwarming, protective and great at making his fans drool
Matt is totally in touch with his feelings and a total sweetheart but also a bit of a man child
Everyone needs a ride or die like Sophia and you can never go wrong with a war for Tina’s cookies 😉
My favorite chapters are 12 and 48! If you like humor mixed with hijinx in a love story this is surely for you!
I took this book on my vacation over the weekend and I devoured it in one weekend. Rebel Warren is the Queen of Rom Coms and her books are the perfect vacation read.
This book was such a quick and hilarious read and I was laughing throughout the entire book. From the witty banter, to the tricks they play on each other, there was never a dull moment.
I love the characters in this book! They are very relatable and I enjoyed getting lost in their stories.
The slow burn and tension in this book is perfect and by the time you get the spice you are ready for it. This was a fantastic read and I’ll forever recommend Rebels books, especially if you are looking for a good vacation read.
This book has one of my favorite micro tropes but I’m not sure that it’s even a thing or that it has a name! It’s where the FMC is a little unhinged, maybe it’s that she’s out for revenge or just goes to the extreme, and the MMC is here for all of it! Like ride or die, he thinks her crazy is cute. Maybe this is because of my own personal relationship with my husband, but I just love it!
Gio and Sophia are hilarious and I’m so glad they get their HEA but still keep each other on their toes. Slow burn and with a tropical setting, it’s a perfect light and fun summer read!
Rebel really knows how to write a Rom-Com! The way I was laughing and enjoying the banter between Sophia and Gio from the very beginning was 😙🤌🏻chefs kiss! I had so much fun reading this book from beginning to end. It was a mixture of adventures, friendships, healing, falling in love, comedy and spicy hotness!
It’s crazy how I was under about Sophia as a character cause of the first book but I LOVEEE her. She’s a whole vibe and I love that she got her HEA!
This series is perfect for Summer vibes reading and I can only hope and pray that eventually it can become an audiobook too! I look forward to the releases in this series.💗
Rebel Warren has done it again and written an all around fun, quirky, and enjoyable rom com book! Insta-Hate, Hijinks & Happy Endings, Sophia and Gio were such a fun couple, and I'm not sure how Rebel is going to top them in the next book. I related with Sophia so much as the FMC. She's been hurt and betrayed, and has every reason not to trust again. Gio was the perfect match for her. The banter they shared, the pranks, the chemistry, all of it just made for a fantastic stinking book. I am beyond excited for book 3 and ready to continue on this Rom-Com adventure!
🩷Slow-burn 🩵Frienemies to lovers 🩷FMC= Plus size, Elle Woods vibes 🩵MMC= social media hot chef daddy 🩷She’s grumpy / he’s sunshine 🩵“Revirginized” FMC 🩷Sexual awakening 🩵Found Family
🌶️🌶️🌶️
This book was hilarious from the start. The tension only grew between Sophia and Gio as their shenanigans went along. There was sooo much mutual pining and the slow burn was delicious. This book had excellent side characters that each brought something to this story. Such a fun read.
Rebel enjoys her bonkers rom-coms! This one takes place in Hawaii which I absolutely loved. It's like a book on vacation!
This was a funny book. 😁 I do think the first book was funnier, but this one still had its moments. I mean you have a runaway bride and a sexy food chef influencer who prank each other throughout. Makes for some interesting moments.
