wonderful Mafia Romance ❤️🔥
Ok this is book five in this Mafia Romance series and I am really enjoying this series and I really enjoyed this particular book as well. As per usual this book has a lot of action and quite a bit of smutty scenes that I really enjoyed as well. This whole series is best read in order starting with book one, so that is what I am recommending.

“Consumed by the Mafia” is the fifth and final book in the “De Salvo Family Series.” Special Agent Abigail (aka Abby) Fitzgerald is an undercover agent with the FBI investigating the De Salvo family. Ryōma Satō has worked for the De Salvo’s for six years as their Enforcer. The chemistry between Abby and Ryoma results in a one night stand after “meeting” at a local bar. “The hand-holding honestly seemed like overkill, but if he wanted to play possessive for the evening, she could let him. That was her thought, at least, until she felt the spark of her skin sliding against his. It was unreal. She sucked in a breath, fighting the reflexive urge to yank her hand away. This might be a more dangerous idea than I’d thought….”
Everything was spiralling out of control for Abby. Instead of hunting out the source of organised crime in New Jersey, she has ended up being caught in the middle of a blood feud! She agrees to the first option and Ryoma is assigned as her protector. The attraction between them gets stronger and more intense - she is his GIRL! The story is full of passion, intrigue, betrayal, vengeance, power, control, twists and turns around every corner - most of all love ♥️ There is never a dull moment - you will be hooked! The book goes through moments of the thoughts or possibilities that it could happen to, to extreme violence to the most beautiful tender moments!
The heat between Ryoma and Abby is off the page 🥵 There is never a dull moment! This book is everything you expect from a dark mafia romance! I did not want it to end! From page to page, chapter to chapter, I could not put it down - you will metaphorically be on the edge of your chair! Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

Book five is the conclusion of the DeSalvo Family series and follows the story of Ryōma, the enforcer for the DeSalvos, and Abigail (Abby) Fitzgerald, FBI agent assigned to dig up dirt on the family. From the moment the pair meet in a bar, their chemistry burns white hot and the two spend the night together indulging themselves. This proves to be the start of their very complicated, but ultimately sweet, HEA. Along the way, we visit with and get updates from our previous DeSalvo Family couples. Unfortunately we also are visited by the Ink Blots, the rotten chief of police Silva, and the elusive Brenden Coughlan.
I lost sleep reading this story. The author explores many tough themes, even the basics of justice vs. revenge and what really constitutes right vs. wrong. Everything is wrapped in sweet romance and wonderfully written spice. The epilogue is a perfect bow wrapping up the series. Written in the third person POV, the plot keeps the reader immersed in the story from the first chapter. She even helpfully provides a list of Japanese words/phrases with their pronunciation and meaning that Ryōma uses. As previously mentioned, the chemistry between Ryōma and Abby is on fire. My knees went wobbly every time he called her “ baby girl.”
Movie rating NC17, cover is 4/5, overall 5/5, romance 4/5, violence 4/5, and spice 4/5. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion and I can honestly and enthusiastically recommend this book. Although it could theoretically be read as a standalone, the experience would be much better if you read books one through four first.

TO BE CONSUMED BY THE DE SALVOS
Rose Wulf has given us an ending that just exploded off the pages! The outright steamy, undeniable chemistry and attraction between Abigail and Ryōma was absolutely palpable. You could feel it through the words, from the emotions and when each De Salvo made their presence known, just heart stopping. The writing was impeccable, with the character's invidual conflict and desire towards each other mixed with loyalty to badge and Family made this the ultimate ending that just consumed everything and everyone in it's wake. I absolutely loved this book and this entire series.
While this is a standalone within the series and Books 1-4 could be read out of order, which is what I did, do not read this book before the others. Definitely leave Book 5 to the end!!

HIGHLY recommend this series!
Cannot express enough just how much I enjoyed every book in this series. Epic mafia, somewhat dark but heavy on family, love, loyalty, with some comical moments and retribution. So glad I found the author and the De Salvo family!

Fantastic as per usual!! I’m so sad to see this series ending, but it was a nice plot wrap up and I so enjoyed this couple!! So glad I randoming picked up the first book!!

This is book five in the De Salvo Family series. Abigail and Ryōma are opposites but, they say opposites attract and their undeniable chemistry nearly catches the pages on fire! He’s a mob enforcer and she’s an FBI agent. This dark mafia romance is full of danger, suspense and spice. An excellent story that kept me reading, non-stop.
