Slayer of Nephilim

Rate this book
The Biblical book of Genesis speaks of sons of God taking the daughters of men who then bore children to them.

The males from those unions became mighty men, men of renown, the Nephilim, or giants of the Old Testament.

In what is now modern southern Iraq in 1100 B.C., kingdoms could recruit Nephilim to act as champions of their armies. A trained and gifted warrior was required to kill a giant. This is the story of an exceptional young man who becomes a Slayer of Nephilim.

Back When Giants Roamed the Earth

This tale takes you back to Genesis when Nephilim (Giants) were on earth. It starts with two births, one of royalty and one of a slave, whose lives become entwined from the start. A Princess born into the household of King Kashbar, and a slave boy whose mother was servant to the Queen. The Princess cried constantly unless Lusilim, the servant's son, was near.
Because of this, Lusilim grew up in the palace and was trained by Shul, the King's brother and champion, who had already fought and killed three Giants. Even at a young age Lusilim had size, strength, and reflexes well beyond his years. He protected the Princess, saving her from enemies of the kingdom several times.

Over time, as Shul ages, Lusilim becoms Champion of the kingdom.

Slayer of Nephilim is one of those rare Classics that will stay with you long after you put it down.

An interesting perspective on giants

I've always been interested in giants, and this book shows them in an interesting way. This book also explores the social classes of our ancestors.
