Transcribed talks of Ajahn Pasanno and Ajahn Amaro. Ajahn Pasanno describes the practice of the Brahmaviharas - loving-kindness, compassion, empathy and equanimity. Ajahn Amaro offers an overview of Theravada Buddhism and Ajahn Chah's teaching of Right View in this tradition.
Some good points on having a sound mind and detachment from things. It's lovely that these are for free distribution and I passed mine to a friend after reading
Ajahn Pasanno presents his interpretation and memories of his teacher Ajahn Chah and introduces the reader to the basic concepts of Theravada Buddhism in the Thai Forest tradition. His examples and illustrating ideas are down to earth, and focused on love. His approach to meditation and meeting challenges is a gentle one, that leaves you with the sense that moments of clarity, of emptiness, are not at all unreachable.
