Hot, hot, hot, with the kind of torture I wouldn't say no to, a pace that is nonstop from the first page, and a plot that feeds your mafia and body count cravings at the same time that it delivers a powder keg of chemistry, with a fuse that gets lit the second Lev puts his hands on Isabella, and an explosion that puts a ring on her finger and the Bratva and a Columbian Cartel in bed together, and does not disappoint.
Blurb:
In the dark shadows of the Bratva Underworld, where my family reigns, there are no rules — only power. My life is black and white. Every choice designed to protect my family and crush our enemies. Trust is a luxury I can't afford. Then she comes—Isabella Morales, disguised as a boy, burning with defiance and danger. Forbidden fruit, the daughter of rival cartel, she holds secrets that could unravel everything I've fought for. Letting her live could be my demise. But now she’s mine. When she tries to run, I catch her. I vow Hot, hot, hot, with the kind of torture I wouldn't say no to, a pace that is nonstop from the first page, and a plot that feeds your mafia and body count cravings at the same time that it delivers a powder keg of chemistry, with a fuse that gets lit the second Lev puts his hands on Isabella, and an explosion that puts a ring on her finger and the Bratva and a Columbian Cartel in bed together, and does not disappoint.
Another excellent read in the Wicked Vows series. Lev Romanov has that whole sexy, protective, and absolutely not afraid to kill a man vibe that you love in a mafia man while at the same time being the most attentive, thoughtful husband, makes him kind of like kryptonite. Especially to Isabella, who I loved, she's feisty, more than willing to sacrifice herself to save a few others, and putty in Lev's hands once he starts his "torture". And as a couple these two have the push and pull, the sparks, the absolute faith, and all the crazy, and it makes this read a hell of a good time.
