Races, Paces, and Faces

Rate this book
This is the second running book from this author, who just can’t seem to cross a finish line and get this sport and hobby out of his soul. Whether a coach jogger, or “in it to win it,” these 50-plus essays captures the physical and mental miles and trials of this thing called running.

From the tears of a girl running in her last race, the boy who finishes last but takes first in your heart, a coach juggling all it takes to coordinate the arms and legs of a track meet, to the pure and simple joy – the pains and the gains – of simply lacing up the shoes and going for an early morning jog.

There is a lot of “it’s the hard that makes it great” between these pages – so please join author Dunn Neugebauer in his observations both as a coach, a runner, and a fan as he shares the personal records, the adventures and the ups and downs of running.
