A DUBIOUS EXTINCTION
Stay Still is an essay about the state of civilization on planet Earth.Outer space is the new frontier and this could be a new "Age of Discovery' occurring during what may be the final years of humans. The presumption is that as with 'throwing a cat from the hay loft door, it will always land on its feet; but in the instance, if the cat is a metaphor for technology the outcome is in doubt. Perhaps homo sapiens are in extreme jeopardy. A third World War is emerging, too many sabers are rattling, and we have overwhellmed the 'Garden of Eden' with billions of humans and their dross. Discovery is occurring rampantly and capabilities are exceeding human understanding and capabilitles. Mostly our prowess is illuminating our limmitations and our culpability. Evolution's parameters are not being acknowledged, We are the purveyors of 'unatural selection', with a refusion to adapt.
