Cosmo, a tiny black-footed cat, uses his Little persona to cope with the darker side of his lifestyle. Can his two fated mates see beyond the cute exterior before those hunting Cosmo succeed in their mission—to murder him?

Harley and Nomad, mates, in need of a place to lie low until the dust settles on their last shifter council operation, find their way to Cookietown. They apply and take the offer to run the local BDSM club, only Fate steps once more into their lives and they meet their third, Cosmo.

Cosmo feels the pull to the two large cats, but he’s uncertain they’ll accept him for who he really is. Problem, they aren’t his biggest concern, not by far. Secretly uncovering information on the shifter council, Cosmo doesn’t know who to trust with everything he’s discovered.

Through patience, threats, a near death experience, and an unforgettable spanking, the two cats finally win over Cosmo, only this is when their problems truly begin. The clock is ticking and the race to save the shifter community is on. Will they succeed or lose everything?

Little & Lethal (Book two of the Little Paws Haven Series) is a paranormal, fated mates, daddies/boy romance where two panthers learn small can be equally deadly.

Where does one start with about what I do?
I’m a writer, but I’m sure you guessed that by now if you’re reading this, hey? What you might not know is I’m a little quirky, live in my pj’s most of the time and have cake Saturdays with my sisters every week. I dedicate a little of my time to taking care of my grandbabies and on the dedicated writing days I like to write an eclectic mix of romance, suspense and paranormal fantasy. In the main I’ve written gay romance but I’m branching out under another the pen name in the future, so watch this space.
I’ve a passion for books like you would not believe and it led me down this path and now I’ve over 29 books released and heading towards releasing a whole lot more. The way my head is I never know where I’ll be headed next. I hope you’ll find a little joy in my words and follow me to see where the journey takes me and you.
If you’re interested at some point in 2021 I’ll be writing under the name JP Paton which will be F/M crime and Fantasy two of my favourite things. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled 

It is a fun and unique take on the little/ daddy dynamics. Cosmo & his two daddies, Harley & Nomad. All three come from darker pasts and need to learn how to work these new dynamics. Harley & Nomad are an established couple who have been working together for years, and oh boy, they are not ready for that little force of nature that Cosmo is. Cosmos past, in particular, makes it difficult for him to open up to his mates. When mistakes do happen, it makes it even harder for him to be ready for this major step that will change everything that he holds comfort in.
I appreciated the growing pains in their dynamic and how much they worked together to improve on that situation. However, some parts of the story had me losing focus, making it not as engaging as it could have been. Overall, it was a great read, and I want to read future stories from this universe.

Little & Lethal by JP Sayle and Layla Dorine. This is the second book in the Little Paws Haven series. Little & Lethal is the story of Cosmo, Harley and Nomad. I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels and very well written.

The first line in Little & Lethal, "Whatever Harley had expected.....it wasn't to watch their fated third stroll off and ignore them." I had to cackle, because this set up the story for me as a roller coaster and I wasn't disappointed in the least.

So the beginning really set me up with who is the third? What's he like? Cosmo is multidimensional in the best way. He is an assassin and a little who craves cuddles and care. Yet his assassin side makes it hard for him to just accept that he has not one but two fated mates and not only that he doesn't want them to see him only as a little. Cosmo has his secrets and friends and he's not ready to just fall in line. Harley and Nomad have been together for years and they know each other inside and out. Adding a third to their relationship doesn't go off without a hitch though. Harley and Nomad are determined to protect Cosmo, but who are they protecting him from himself or something more dangerous?

I have to say I was caught from the very beginning. I never felt like I was missing out on a piece of the puzzle with this being book two, so it really is a standalone story. I think the characters were well written on their own and together. The story itself had enough going on that it kept me turning pages all day long. It was exciting, the story had bad guys that I wanted to see get their just desserts. I also don't feel like it ended on a cliff hanger even though there were a few threads left open-ended. Will there be a book three? I hope so. I want to see where the authors take some of the other characters like Bash and Romy and the baby rhinos. I really like the mixture of the BDSM lifestyle and the paranormal fated mates, they really mixed well in this story. Cosmo needed the little lifestyle to kind of purge himself of what he did for a living. Harley and Nomad had never been daddies before and yet for their Cosmo, they made the change effortlessly. I really like this story, the characters, the adventure, and the happy ending!

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

This is book 2 in the Little Paws Haven series. I don't think it totally necessary to have read book one, Little Treasure He Hides, before this one. I loved that book.

And while I really enjoyed this one, I found this one a bit...disconnected.

Oh don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it, I just found some bits went off and I lost my concentration.

Nomad and Harley have been mated for 20 years. Harley, though, is certain they should have a third. Meeting Cosmo, and all three of them knew they were mates but Cosmo was not letting them have it easy. Getting up close and personal with another Dom in the club, just to rile Nomad and Harley up. But Cosmo is more than a Little. He is deadly. And not incapable of looking after himself. Nomad and Harley need to get with the programme. Cosmo also needs to get with it, but he struggles. Having only himself to rely on for so long, it takes him time to let Nomad and Harley in.

I liked that all three men have a say. I loved that Cosmo gave the other two a run for their money. I loved that Cosmo, once settled into the relationship, pushed all the boundaries and then some, JUST so he could take the punishment.

I found the issue with The Council a bit confusing as to what was really going on, so reading about those bits, I kinda switched off. It all comes clear, I just took twice as long to get it!

Gabai and Asher from book one take part, but you don't need to have read their book to follow this one. The next book is laid here, well, I mean I hope it is! Looking forward to reading about hippos!

I liked this well enough, but something didn't quite click for me.

Watch The Paws!

LittlePawsHaven2

The whole concept of BDSM being an umbrella term is … misleading.

I think it is more a gateway to other needs and levels of intimacy, that have sexual trappings, because sex is the language of closeness. That play spaces would need to be true play areas - with soft furniture coverings, bright colors, and mental engagement toys 🧸 reflects how cold our larger society is.

Since these are M/M stories, there are only “Daddies” and “Littles” in these pages, no “Mommies” and only one female Domme. And couching them in the world of shapeshifters is an added twist. Being on the periphery of larger society as loners and misfits, is a challenge no matter what your choices and preferences and needs.

Cosmo is often underestimated, because of his playfulness and his house cat shifter form.
But, Cosmo has discipline and training that makes him lethal and effective. Now, he has the chance to be more - a partner, a mate, a third of a triad. Will he take it? Can he make room for others to care about and for him?

Read and see.

There were so many positive lessons in this one, little but mighty story. When those who are supposed to govern and lead you go to the dark side, where do you go?? Harley and Nomad had to learn to be a triad and , Cosmo had to learn he had Daddies who had his back and were to be a triad and not a lone ranger. Like the three musketeers-- all for one and one for all. What do you do when the bad guys try to do away with the good guys for greed and power??? You get loyal help, a plan, and fight for your life, because it's your life if you lose! This was such an inspirational story. Team work and togetherness for a common good always out trumps bad guys and greed. Loved the epilogue and more to come! Can't wait.

LITTLE & LETHAL is the second book in the Little Paws Haven series, and I feel it would definitely help to have read the first one.

Cosmo is a little who loves colouring in. He also has another side that most don't know about. Nomad and Harley have been mates for years, although Harley was always insistent there was a third out there for them. When they first see Cosmo, all three know, but Cosmo isn't having it. He's been alone for too long to trust anything at face value.

While I thoroughly enjoyed this story, I didn't connect with it as I did with the previous book, and I don't know why. As individuals, there was nothing wrong, and as a group, it all worked, but... there was just something for me that didn't pull me in as I liked.

I am hoping the third book will be about Bash and Romy - after all, Rhino shifters aren't that common, and I always love reading about different shifters.

If you are a fan of either of these authors, then I definitely recommend this book. I have never read a bad book by these authors, so I think this may be a case of "It's not you, it's me!"

TROUBLE

LITTLE PAWS HAVEN #2 is A.M.AZ.I.N.G.!!!
This is so GREAT!! There's trouble brewing and his name is Cosmo. JP SAYLE and LAYLA DORINE got together and created a threesome. Chaos ensues. Nomad and Harley had no idea what was waiting for them. Cosmo is a Little with a surprising occupation. They embark on the most dangerous mission of their lives. I did not put this Book down. This story held me down in my chair. This is fast paced, naughty and fun. I Loved These Men. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THE LITTLE PAWS SERIES!!!!!!!!!!

Loved this book!!

This story has both fun and danger. A Little's story.

Cosmo is small and deadly. He found his daddies when he thought it might not happen. He works as an assassin for the council.

Nomad and Harley are mated but find Cosmo is their mate as well. Both Nomad and Harley have also worked for the council in a different capacity.

Navigating a new mate who identifies as a little is new and challenging. Add in the council attacking them, makes things dicey for a while.

Love this series and this book!

This was such an enjoyable and entertaining story! I loved watching Harley and Nomad learn how to incorporate their third into their established relationship. Cosmo was so amazing and such a dynamite! I loved these three together and watching them come together was wonderful! I’d say all the hiccups they had were definitely worth it! Such an engaging read that had me turning the pages. A fantastic read that I highly enjoyed! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

cute and deadly

This is a fun and exciting installment in the series. The author could heartily benefit from a proofreader, but the story is certainly worth reading regardless.

Little & Lethal

This adventure was a well written, fast reading, totally enjoyable romp back into Cookietown, where we meet up with some old friends a find some new ones along the way. Cosmo is a little we met the last time we visited, but there is way more to him than meets the eye and his prospective mates are just as interesting, together there is enough shenanigans going on to keep you turning the pages until we reached the grand finally, what a great book, loved it!

Little & Lethal by JP Sayle and Layla Dorine was the second story in the Little Paws Haven Series. Harley and Nomad have arrived in Cookietown in order to lie low from the last job they did for the council. While going over their new positions at the BDSM club they'd run into Cosmo, their third, who is a little, but looks can be deceiving. Cosmo knows that the new men are his mates but he has so many secrets and hidden talents that he’s afraid they will only see him as a little and treat him like he’s fragile and not as an equal or just throw him aside if he secrets come out. But as Cosmo’s  link to the council is revealed, Nomad and Harley are determined to protect and love all aspects of their feisty mate. I really enjoyed this story as I had not read the first book in the series. I was able to enjoy it and not feel like I was missing something important in relation to this story. I loved the book with its sweetness and lethalness mixed perfectly throughout.

This was a fantastic story. I absolutely adored Cosmo in the first book and I was so happy to see him find his own HEA. The characters were all so interesting and the world building is amazing. I can’t wait to read more from this series.
