Their love story is fast and intense, and the climax of the book had the perfect level of drama. She doesn't normally write this light-hearted MF genre, but she did a phenomenal job! It's on my reread list and I can't wait to read it again.

Quickie review: This is one of those books I don’t remember how I came across it, only that I am so freaking glad I did. Age gap/ Best Friend’s Dad romance is all its gooey goodness. I devoured their story and couldn’t get enough of both Roman and Ava. I even loved how they handled his daughter when all was said and done. It was done perfectly. Just like their hot as heck romance, pure perfection. Now, I can’t wait to get my hands on Tasha’s story. 5 Stars!

This book is described to be exactly what it is. A short, quick paced, steamy novella. And I read it all in one day.

Ava has always found her best friend's dad, Roman, attractive. But of course he is older than her and she has no intentions on losing her best friend. After going to college for nursing, she finds herself in between graduation and finding a job. To pay the bills she begins working as a waitress, but the opportunity to earn more as an escort lands in front of her. With a few reservations she decides to take the chance. Ending up at the door of the man she has lusted after for years, her best friends dad.

Willing to walk away from the job, she offers to leave and have another girl sent. But Roman, has a secret fantasy of his own. Around the time Ava turned 21, somewhere he lost viewing her as a child and his daughter's best friend. She suddenly became the star of his fantasy. Being a workaholic with no real personal life, and wanting certain things behind closed doors, he sees an opportunity and decides to take it. So he asks Ava to stay...and she does.

The two then decide since he is only in town for the week, that they will indulge their desires just for the week. Then they will part ways and move on. But can they? Or will it quickly become more? And how will Ava's best friend/Roman's daughter feel about it? Will one, or both, lose her in the process?

I will tell you, this is romance. So there is an HEA...but we will have to go through some things to get there. While the author tells you up front that it's heavy spice and little plot, there was an a bit of a storyline that kept me reading. I'm also a sucker for an age gap. The spice is spicy, getting all the chili peppers. And it increases as we go.

Minimal trigger/content warnings. There is a smidge of a Daddy kink, but not to the extreme. She's calls him Daddy and he likes it. Overall it's worth the read.

Quick read

This was a good palette cleanser from a heavier book that I read prior. There’s some drama, yes, but not enough to make me think too hard!
Ava is a nurse by training but has been hard pressed to find a job. She’s working at a diner to pay the bills when she’s approached by an escort service. She’s looking for a way to pay off her student loans and this might be the way to do it in the least amount of time. What she didn’t expect was for her first client to be best friend’s dad!
Roman has known Ava since e she was a teenager. He started seeing her in a different light once she turned 20. He’s had a crush on her since then but kept his distance for obvious reasons. So, to have her at his door seems like an answered prayer.
They embark on what’s supposed to be a weeklong affair but soon both realize they want more. But how would that work? Roman’s daughter is Ava’s best friend. Ava is having sex with her best friend’s dad! This could get messy fast.
Given the brevity of this book, things move quickly. The sexy sexy times are descriptive and playful. They’re some aggressive “you’re mine” talk but that seems to be the norm with these age gap romances. It was fine but I’m more curious about the Ava’s best friend getting into a relationship with Roman’s best friend (hinted about in the book)!

This is an age gap romance. It is not a very long story, but it really packs a punch. It is the story of Ava and Roman. Ava is a girl who has always loved to help people. This led to her career choice of wanting to be a nurse. When she gets a scholarship for college she is one step closer to realizing her dream. However, college is really expensive and she finds herself with a very large debt that she can't live with hanging over her head. When she meets Madame Miller who own Million Dollar Babes she is offered a job that will take care of her debt. However, her first client ends up being here best friends father Roman. And things get very interesting very quickly. I have to not talk about that story anymore or I will give something way. I loved these characters. I loved that Roman has this possessive side when he needed to and one heck of a dirty mouth. I am a sucker for a dirty mouth male character, always. I loved how he spoiled her and wanted her for himself. Ava is a really sweet girl doing the best she can to make her dreams come true. She sure never expected the man of her dreams to be who he was or where she met him. This is a quick steamy read you do not want to miss.

This is a quick and steamy fast burn forbidden romance but it still manages to pack a punch. Best Friend's Dad is not a trope I tend to seek out but I was quickly invested in Roman and Ava's story. Ava is really sweet and has had a crush on Roman for years but he's always been off limits. Straight off the bat I liked how Roman admitted to himself he felt like a bit of creep when he noticed Ava two years ago and I enjoyed his development as he realised that his obsession and feelings were because of the person Ava was, not because she was forbidden as her daughter's best friend. His speech to Tasha was a highlight however I really liked Tasha's drunk declaration as it came across as such a natural reaction and it grounded the whole story for me, as did her later reaction. The epilogue was great too and I'd love to see Tasha and Connor's story.

3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

Ava has had a crush on her best friend, Tasha’s dad since she was a teenager and Tasha’s dad, Roman has had a crush on Ava for the past two years. Needing extra money to pay her student debt, she becomes an escort and on her first night, she comes face to face with her first client. Roman.

As stated in the beginning of the book, this book has minimal plot and has a high amount of spice! So, I think it’s safe to say this review is going to be mostly about how freaking hot the spice and dirty talk is in this book!! There’s praise kink and a slight daddy kink, which I low-key love!! I thought Ava and Roman had strong chemistry and attraction towards one another. The freaking sexual attraction towards one another was so hot!! Roman is everything!! I love him and his possessiveness of Ava and his need to make her his! Swoon!!! Even though Ava liked being degraded by Roman, I thought she was such a strong, independent woman and was doing what she could to make ends meet. I loved every single second of this book!! If you love a spicy af age gap, best friend’s dad romance this book is most definitely for you!!

Great read

This is a fast paced really spicy book and boy how I loved it. I love all of Alisha's books that I have read and this was just added to that list.

Ava finished nursing school and has student debt from it and just wants to make money to pay off so she can start her career so she becomes an escort for a very reputable place. She has certain criteria in the man she sees and it just so happens to be things that are the qualities her best friend's dad has, Roman. She has had a crush on Roman for a long time.

Roman is in town to visit with his daughter but while in town he asks for an escort from the place he uses when there. The woman he wants just so happens to resemble Ava his daughter's best friend that he has been having fantasies about for a few years now.

Imagine both of their surprises when the door opens and they see each other. They decide to spend the night together and live out their fantasies. But will one night be enough or will one of them ask for the other to Stay With Me?

Even though fast paced, has a good plot and some heartache too. Need to read this to see what happens.

In the mood for a quick, spicy read? Well, here you go. It's got all the feels. Ava is going to break out of her comfort zone and give being an escort a shot. She's got bills to pay and is already working so hard at a job she doesn't want because she can't get the nursing job she wants. Her first client, the man she's crushed on since she was sixteen, and he happens to be her best friend's dad. Little does she know he's been crushing on her ever since she became an adult, and he came out to visit and saw her. Both of them are shocked when they meet in his hotel room. Shock and want . They go for it. And starts a steamy and romantic story. Ava and Roman fall for each other even more as they spend more time together, and not everyone is going to find their relationship acceptable. Twists and turns fill the pages, but there is a guaranteed HEA. Alisha Williams always knows how to get you with her stories, no matter if their short, long, or a series. She will reach out and hook you. I loved this short story.

This was a quick and steamy read that I couldn't put down - a taboo, age gap, best friend's dad novella? Right up my alley. This is definitely a spice heavy, plot minimal read, but every now and then I feel that's needed.

The reality of what Ava's going through in terms of her money issues will hit close to home for some, and I feel Williams wrote this in a really great, realistic way. What I really loved about this story was that the attraction and infatuation had been there for years; it wasn't just an insta-lust thing when Ava and Roman reconnected. I enjoyed how you could see the struggle from both Ava and Roman; they both knew what they were doing was wrong, but end of the day, the heart wants what the heart wants.

Despite the shortness of the read, the characters are well developed, and you truly understand their motivations. It's relatively drama free - but the drama is well written and doesn't take long to resolve. Their epilogue was a sweet way to wrap up the story, and I feel gives hint at a potential spin-off novella (which I am all for!).

Stay With Me is a quick, fast-paced, steamy novella that gave us taboo, best friend's dad, age gap tropes.

The story follows Ava who has always had a crush on her best friend's dad. After nursing school left her with a mountain of debt, she decides to temporarily work as a high-end escort to earn money to pay of the debts.

Her first client ends up being Roman, her best friend's dad. As he's in town for the week, he proposes to her that if she spends the week with him he'll pay off her debts. What follows is some hott steamy encounters between these two.
The attraction was previously there so this wasn't insta lust, but these two did struggle with what they were doing and how it would affect his daughter/her best friend Tasha.

The story was fast-paced, intense, and steamy with some drama that was quickly resolved. It was my first read by this author and I did enjoy it. I would recommend this novel for romance lovers looking for a quick steamy read.

Can Roman please be my daddy? pretty please? If you love an obsessed dominant hunk with a filthy mouth and a penchant for being called Daddy then this read is most definitely for you.

I absolutely adored Ava, our kind hearted nursing student who just wants to help people. Finding herself drowning in debt she turns to Madame Millie to begin working as a high end escort. I'm sure the last person she expected to be her first client would be her best friend's father who was her first crush! What starts out as giving in to temptation quickly turns in to more as they both accept that the chemistry between them is undeniable, it leaps off the pages. But when the truth comes out will those around them be accepting?

This was a fast paced read that you will need to devour in one sitting. The steam is incredibly hot but the character development Alisha managed to accomplish within the minimal page count is impressive and makes for a great overall experience. Highly recommend.

This was a quick smutty read with a ton of emotion, which is surprising for how short it is. There's a lot of daddy kink (which we all know I love) and just pure good smut!

We have Ava who is studying to become a nurse, but realizes really quickly how expensive it is, so she becomes a high-end escort. It works all the way around since she loves older men and the way they know to actually please a woman, plus she'll be paid so well. She's all good with this plan until her first client shows up, and it's the one man she's always lusted after -- her fathers best friend.

Roman was absolutely perfect for Ava, and I love how dirty and possessive he was in the bedroom, but so sweet outside of it. He didn't want to crush her wings but instead let her fly as bright as she was destined to. He just wanted to be by her side the entire time.

Like I said, there's a lot of heart in this small novella, and you can see why Alisha is so popular! It's definitely a must-read!

Steamy Smutty Short read!
Ok so if you’re looking for a forbidden romance read with a HAWT older man who wants to treat his lady like a Princess whilst also taking complete charge in the bedroom then this is definitely a read for you! There is a plot there but it is minimal compared to the kinky scenes throughout this short read. Saying that the characters actually have depth and bite to them (which in some other reads like this you don’t get) and you do get insights into their personalities 🥰🥰 all drama is quickly resolved for Ava and Roman, it’s not a particularly hard to get HEA but it is swoony and loved their epilogue! ☺️

Sometimes you just want something quick and dirty.

In this case, I was busy today and just wanted something I could read quick to count toward my reading goal.

It's no excuse, but here we are.

Needless to say I did not have very high expectations going into this. We're warned straight up that this is meant to be a very short read and that there's not a ton of plot to be found. I didn't expect much else, to be honest.

True to form, it's a lot of spice. But there's also tender and sweet and funny moments that make this kind of cute. The ending especially is cheesy as hell - but I grinned all the way through it, so...I'm counting this as a win.

This story is actually pretty great...IF you like the tropes involved and IF you have your expectations managed.

This was Alisha’s first dive into MF contemporary and she did a fantastic job. I love a good age gap book and for such a quick read, Alisha really packed a lot into it. It’s definitely spice heavy but still has a good plot.

The chemistry between Ava and Roman was off the charts. Roman will definitely have you swooning. I also really loved the dynamic between all of the other characters too and I would love a Connor and Tasha book. I also like to see a book portray sex work in a positive light.

This was a fun steamy read and if you love age gap/best friends dad stories, then you will really enjoy this one!

This was such a fast paced insta love story. There's an age gap, best friends dad and taboo romance. Ava is trying to find a way to pay off her student loans when she runs across madame millie. The woman offers her a job as an escort. And low and behold her first client is Roman knight. The older man she's had a thing for, for quite a long time. He also happens to be her best friends dad. The spice was scorching and there were a lot of one handed moments. It's quick and I read it all in one sitting. I'm eager for Tashas story and absolutely loved this one. If you love the above tropes, you'll absolutely love this story.

This is the first contemporary MF book for Alisha Williams and I already can't wait for another one! I love reading her reverse harem series so this was quite a surprise for me. I loved this contemporary romance and hope she continues to write more of this genre.
I never had a best friend who’s father I crushed on but my dad had some good looking single friends I crushed on! So I can totally understand the whole taboo thing. This is also a new genre for me so I am definitely excited to see the next book…
This is why Alisha Williams is one of my favorite authors! Thank you, Ms. Williams for such a wonderful read!

I love me an age gap forbidden romance. This one was perfect for me. What I loved the most about it was the fact that even though it was super steamy these two characters genuinely really loved each other. Bc they wanted each other for some time once they got together it was explosive and full of chemistry.

It was hard for them to stay apart just like it was hard for me to stop reading. These two had me hooked. They had a real connection outside of the bedroom and I was dying to see how everything would work out for them. I loved the ending 😭

This story is perfect if ur looking for a short forbidden steamy read thats also full of feelings.

This was a fast paced quick read that's not big on plot but definitely next level smuttiness it won't leave your panties dry all you'll be saying is "yes, Daddy". Once you start reading and meet Roman and his sexy dirty talk. Ava is covered in debt after becoming a nurse, so she decides she needs a part time job and finds it in becoming a high end escort working for Millions Dollar Babes. She's always had a thing for older men so she figures why not, then on her 1st night of the job she knocks on the door and finds Roman her fathers best friend and who she's always had a crush on. Need I say anymore other than you need to read it. Cause Roman is 🫴🏻🫦.

Stay With Me was an enjoyable, fun and quick read with a fairly high spice level and and a low plot level. The plot does exist, it is just light and shallow, mostly used as a vessel to transport you smoothly from one spicy scene to the next. This plot style made for a very fun and enjoyable read that I devoured.
Being an age gap and best friend's father book, it is easy to make the characters cringy, luckily Stay With Me does not suffer that fate. I found both main characters extremely likeable. I appreciated Ava's value of friendship over lust/love. No matter how much I wanted to dislike Roman, he slowly revealed who he really was and earned my respect.

Overall I really enjoyed this quick and spicy read. I recommend this to Romance readers that are looking for a lighter, fun read with a lot of spice.
