Ho il grave sospetto che oltre al (vero) fantasma e al (finto) mostro ci sia anche un vero demone in questa storia. Determinate situazioni, comportamenti e parole mi puzzano tantissimo e non riesco a levarmi questo dubbio dalla testa.
Congetture a parte, questo secondo volume mi è piaciuto molto di più del primo. La storia ingrana bene e l'ho trovato più scorrevole del precedente. Finale da lancio del volume in aria: quanto ci toccherà aspettare adesso per conoscere il destino del nostro mostro?!
Comunque Tsubaki mi fa troppo ridere con tutti quei muscoli che strabordano dai vestiti, non riesco mica prenderlo sul serio, ok il fan service ma è così pompato che pare la caricatura di un culturista.

Crazy to end it on a cliff hanger like that. I’ve been waiting for renta to add the bonus pages after the last chapter but I guess that’s never happening since it’s been a few months since they uploaded the last chapter. Anyway I really like this art style and I enjoy the story but I feel more could be happening plot wise but it’s going slow. Tokyopop has picked this up now so I’m excited to own the physically and reread them then though.

Suite de cette surprenante histoire de loubards x boys love très très slow burn.

Après un premier tome présentant un étrange mélange d'histoire de fantôme et de garçon à la carrure impressionnante toujours mépris alors qu'il a un grand coeur. Le deuxième volume de ce triptyque s'attarde non plus entièrement sur Koton mais sur les relations qu'il a su nouer.

L'autrice nous embarque ainsi dans une suite d'histoire autour des garçons qui gravitent autour de lui. On y est pour notre compte de bagarre et autres histoires dramatiques. C'est surtout Nana qui est au coeur de tout, lui qui est impliqué dans un sombre événement du passé de Koton et qui cherche à se venger. Cela se retournera contre lui et il finira fan de son nouvel ami, mais avec toujours autant de soucis qu'il faudra bien régler.

Je dois avouer que j'ai trouvé ce tome riche et pourtant moins intéressant. J'ai eu l'impression d'une stagnation du développement du personnage de Koton . Maintenant qu'on sait que c'est un loubard au grand coeur, j'ai l'impression que l'autrice s'emploie à le démontrer à tous, mais cela fait presque un peu redite. On enchaîne les situations où il va jouer de ses gros (d'ailleurs dessinés de manière bien trop exagérée dans ce tome...) pour défendre la veuve et l'orphelin. Mouaif.

A côté de ça, la romance avance à la vitesse d'un escargot. Chacun se rend compte qu'il y a quelque chose sans poser les mots. L'un devient jaloux et fait exploser ses pouvoirs de fantômes. L'autre ne comprend pas se qu'il ressent et s'interroge. Du coup, concrètement, ça n'avance pas vraiment même si c'est mignon, ou plutôt émouvant, de les voir ensemble, tant ils dégagent une belle sérénité. L'épisode où Tsubaki cherche à entrer en contact est un classique du genre mais il m'a plu car il proposait une ouverture. Le reste est plus plan plan.

Série au concept original, elle s'embrouille un peu ici, tournant en rond, avançant très très lentement côté romance. Mais en même temps, ça fait plaisir un tel personnage à contre-courant et c'est surprenant, dans le bon sens du terme, de voir ce mélange de furyu pas furyo, de fantastique (fantôme) et de romance. Ça change ! A voir comment sera géré le dernier tome.

Siendo su madre lo más importante para él, la persona a la que más quería y admiraba, Kabuto siempre ha intentado emularla y ser bueno con todo el mundo y tratar a todos por igual. Pero, a pesar de parecer feliz, un agujero en el pecho se instaló cierto día en el corazón de Kabuto y ahí sigue aunque ahora sea un fantasma que murió intentando salvar a alguien. Ahora, frente a él está Tsubaki, a quien Aya acaba de apuñalar y, al ser un ente etéreo al que nadie salvo Tsubaki ve y escucha, Kabuto consigue encontrar de casualidad a Ibitsu y le pide ayuda usando sus habilidades fantasmagóricas. Pero al separarse de su fuente de energía, desaparece.

Sin que la puñalada le haga mucho efecto, siendo eso algo imposible de matarlo, lo único que está en la mente de Tsubaki es encontrar a Kabuto y evitar que desaparezca. Porque para Tsubaki Kabuto lo es todo y es gracias a él si ahora es capaz de disfruta un poco más de la vida y, a su vez, siente que está cambiado. O más que cambiar, está pudiendo sacar a relucir quién es realmente. Lo que se esconde tras esa apariencia de monstruo.

Las cosas comienzan a cambiar en el interior de Kabuto justamente cuando Aya, arrepentido de lo que ha hecho, y gracias a las palabras de aliento que le da Tsubaki, comienza a frecuentarlo de una forma completamente distinta a la anterior. Algo en el corazón de Aya ha cambiado gracias a la amabilidad sin tapujos de Tsubaki y este comienza a buscarlo en el instituto para hablar con él. Esto cabrea mucho a Kabuto, y no solo porque no le pueda perdonar que haya intentado matar a Tsubaki, sino que lo que más le cabrea es que ahora quiera congraciarse con él y no con las intenciones de ser solamente su amigo. Y el ver cómo Tsubaki lo escucha, y le dice según qué cosas, está revolviendo algo en el corazón que Kabuto ya no tiene y esto también le está descontrolando sus habilidades.

Ibitsu, que desde el principio sospechó que fuertes sentimientos iban a nacer entre esos dos, decide ayudarlos y hacerle pagar un poquito a Aya el haberle hecho daño a Tsubaki. Esto hará que, finalmente, y después de un día maravilloso, Kabuto no solamente sea más consciente que nunca de que es un fantasma, sino también acabará por darle nombre a esos sentimientos que Tsubaki ha sabido despertar en él.

Manteniendo el nivel narrativo y de dibujo que vimos en el primer volumen, Himemiko prosigue evolucionando a sus personajes psicológicamente en un segundo volumen más centrado en Kabuto y en sus sentimientos y en Aya, nuevo personaje relacionado con Tsubaki por lo que sus respectivos padres hicieron y que será una pieza clave en muchos sentidos en los seis capítulos que incluye Monster & Ghost 2.

I forgot i preordered this lmaao. I also forgot what huge cliffhanger we were left on Tsubaki being stabbed and Kabuto possibly disappearing. Thankfully the longer i read the more i remembered what happened in the first volume. Himemiko knows how to make a cliffhanger lmaao. This volume is very interesting to say the least, getting to see Kabuto possess someone to finally get to actually touch Tsubaki was not something i was expecting but im not surprised it happened. Also Kabuto remembering his pyjamas and getting to wear them was quite funny. Again as i stated earlier Himemiko loves cliffhangers... eagerly waiting for the next volume.

Ce second tome est tout aussi bon que le premier. L’amitié entre Tsubaki et Kabuto devient de plus en plus profonde, les sentiments évoluent peu à peu et certains dessins étaient vraiment magnifiques.
J’adore le contraste entre la violence de certaines scènes et réactions des personnages et la douceur de l’amitié (/ romance) entre Tsubaki et Kabuto.
Par contre cette fin ! j’ai absolument besoin de la suite et vite !

A boy is drugged without his consent so our ghost twink can possess his body and pilot it like a meat suit to go on a cute little date with his scary monster crush? And this is treated as a wholesome moment for the main ship? And none of these people even tell the victim?? Disgusting.

I loved this volume just as much as volume one, maybe even a little more. I definitely like Aya as well and I want to see more of them in the next volume 😫
The art style is also just so pretty. I cannot get over it.

つばき跟かぶと真的是命運一般的戀愛，彷彿他們還不知道是愛但已經愛得執着愛得要生要死⋯⋯好喜歡這種看似正常但其實已經脫軌病態的感情，再加上兩人都純情得要命就真的很好吃⋯⋯イビツくん說對つばき來說只有かぶと跟かぶと以外的人我哭死🥹
覺得兩人在遇上跟對方有關的事都會變得跟平時相反，㹓別喜歡かぶと對つばき的執着⋯⋯對小寶寶來說這種病的程度真的剛剛好，純情又危險🥹 好吃🥹
