BLOOMING INTO FUN!Winter has melted away, making way for the warm spring to arrive! Full of hope and anticipation, Druid and Ivy travel to the next village over to experience an exhilarating spring festival. This village is like nothing Ivy has ever seen before--even the gate protecting it is different! Ivy can't wait to find out what this vibrant and colorful place has in store for her and her friends.
Volume 7 is very much a slice-of-life story which deals with a well thought out festival even if the week long festival takes up a large section of the book. Personally I enjoyed it, mostly because of the characters involved. and it does add a bit to the world building, but I can see it not being for everybody. I do find the plot surrounding monster tamers a bit odd, why now? All in all, an entertaining slow paced read.
Ivy and Druid go to a village that has a festival every spring! Ivy's friend, Lord Foronda, comes to the festival also. He brings papers to Druid, so that he can adopt Ivy! Will Ivy agree to be adopted?
Yet again another wonderful volume. Its getting interesting again. Tamers are being kidnapped. Ivy has become daughter to Druid. Ivy's family have been sentenced to slavery for the crimes in their village.
Honestly this should probably be a 3 star book based on the logic holes lol. But it was a cute, fun story that left me feeling good about life so it got a higher rating. Enjoy!
