“It was time for him to take their relationship to another level, and more than anything, he wanted her to see that love could be even better the second time around.”

This made me realize that I love romance books with older main characters. They actually took the time to communicate about their feelings without holding back and letting it build up. Peggy deserved her second chance at love after what her ex husband put her through. I loved how she handled everything with grace.

This was a very sweet, very short novella, that had so much depth. I also enjoyed listening to this audibly. The narrator did a great job sounding like a middle age woman, considering he’s a man😂 Thank you Harlequin and NetGalley for the ALC.

Loved It!

Poor Peggy and her sister Barbara both had bums for husbands the first time around. Oh but when Willie came into the picture, Peggy’s heart didn’t stand a chance! Peggy was so broken by what her ex husband Joe had done to her, she said she would never fall in love again. Willie was such a great man, and was so loving her, she was swept off her feet. I’m so glad the sisters finally got their happily ever after! Another thing I loved about the book was that it involved an older couple. I love reading about seasoned romance! Thank you Mrs. Jackson for this awesome read! ❤️🔥

The second time

Many don't gets second chance at love. This was so awesome to hear that there is a second chance at love. It was very clear that many men forget or get caught up in the wrong thing. The bad part men realize too lat what they have.

I loved it!

Brenda Jackson really knows how to deliver a good story. Peggy was still carrying pain from a previous marriage but Willie helped her overcome her fears. Great story. Short and sweet.

Just what I was looking for

As always, I loved the story, I love anything by Brenda Jackson. I loved the characters and the fact that they were mature couples. I enjoy young love as much as anyone but is nice to read about mature love as well. Great read.

Love came finally.

Sometimes you love a person for the wrong reasons. It took a real man to show & give her the love she deserved.

Another good one

Peggy fought falling in love again because the first time ended in disappointement . The second time around would be so much better for her and her sister.

Peggy and Willie had a nice love story. She was cautious about giving her heart to him because of how her first husband hurt her.
I enjoyed this short book a lot.

Second chances

Experience, age, and forgiveness make second chances possible as well as a viable reality worth the weight. So, once more Brenda has delivered.
