Charly Wilder and her group have been through an EMP, the deaths of several friends, near starvation, a murderous gang coming after them, their refuge being burned to the ground… and they’ve lived to tell about it.
Now they must push themselves even harder to ensure their continued survival and to roust the Cubans from building a military presence in the region. As they begin to hope and plan for a better future, trouble finds them again when a group of people disguised as friends infiltrate their close-knit group.
Will they be able to withstand their evil intentions and still be victorious?
While I love this author so far, I think I am dragging my feet with Florida Fall because I don't want it to end. This was the first author to make me love emp books. I really hope that there is a Florida Fall 4.
This series of books and its authors is a best read. The stories vary from state to state with different characters and perspectives. However, the story line of the October World stays within the same frame making you feel like its all happening at the same time.
This was another great read in the October Fall series! Love the character development over the 3 books in this Florida Fall installment, and references to others as well. And with how this one ended, I am anxiously awaiting Florida Fall 4, or at least another Texas version to support the Reese story. Keep the books coming, I'll keep reading!
I loved the fact that this wasn't focused on war. The tensions between groups and the consequences of actions was a central theme. One thing that was difficult is that there was a one year gap between me reading Florida Fall 2 and this one so I didn't remember the characters or the events that happened previously.
Florida Fall 3 is a great follow up to the other books and has teased more great things to come. I love the group of characters that has come together and the so many challenges they face. If you have read the first two Florida Fall books then jump right in. If you haven’t then grab Florida Fall and start binge reading.
Great book! I really appreciate that there is no foul language so any age can read! Hard to put book down. Shows the realities of life without an electric grid.
