Rate this book
Friedrich and Elsa are free. Having escaped Switzerland after being falsely accused of murder, Elsa hopes that her new life in America with the man she loves and their little girl can finally bring them the peace they have fought so hard for since the beginning of the war.

But there are still scores to settle, still those who would exploit Friedrich's true identity for their own purposes. It is with the promise of help from the founder of the CIA, William Donovan; that Friedrich agrees to one last mission. Just one last assignment and Donovan promises he will arrange it so that Friedrich and Elsa can stop looking over their shoulders.

Friedrich leaves his newly formed family for Moscow on the trail of a German spy and is captured soon after by the Russian police.

Elsa makes the heart wrenching decision to leave their little girl and search for the man she loves, but will Donovan and his organization help her at the risk of exposing the all important mission? Or is Friedrich lost to them all forever?

The Atonement is the powerful conclusion to the Resistance trilogy that began in the early years of WW2 and ends amid the frightening anti-communist American witch hunts of the 50's. It comes in at 130,068 words and is an historical erotic romance.

E. Jamie lives in Toronto, Canada. She has been writing since the age of eleven and hasn't been bored a day in her life since.

E. Jamie stands for hot. Hot sexy stories that make your toes and everything else curl. It stands for passionate tales that leave the bedroom door wide open and leave you begging for more.

She decided to take the plunge into writing erotica for publication (after writing it for free for more years than she should have been. Naughty girl) and was snapped up by Amira Press first.

In her free time she likes to read and counts Paullina Simons, Diana Gabaldon, Julia Quinn, Victoria Alexander, Catherine Anderson and Lisa Kleypas among her favorite authors. She loves to listen to music while she writes and suggests movies soundtracks are some of the best music to write to. She is in love with the TV show Supernatural and thinks Jensen Ackles was born simply to inspire her to write smut. As she is a Days Of Our Lives fan, she believes James Scott falls into this category as well.

She loves to cook as she considers it yet another wonderful creative outlet though much to her chagrin she cannot make soup.
