The Adepta Sororitas are the armed wing of the Imperial faith. They defend the Emperor's cathedrums, chapels, and holy shrines from the heretic, the mutant, the witch, and the alien. Encased within power armour, the Battle Sisters of the Orders Militant wield boltguns, flamers, and chainswords as they march relentlessly towards their enemies, bearing relics of fallen martyrs and singing prayers above the din of battle. Their tanks and wargear are bedecked with the iconography of the Adeptus Ministorum, a demonstration of their zeal to any who would opposed them. Where the Adepta Sororitas tread, so does the light of the Emperor shine.

Games Workshop Group PLC (often abbreviated as GW) is a British miniature wargaming manufacturing company. Games Workshop is best known as developer and publisher of the tabletop wargames Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 and The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game.
Not as thorough as previous editions codex, there is less new content, for both lore and miniatures. On the good side, the gallery and pictures content is all good.
As always, this Codex includes all the rules and background for the Sisters of Battle in the tenth edition of Warhammer 40,000.
The background section of the book includes the history of the Sororitas and their major figures found in previous books, although it has been tweaked and updated in quite a few places. The book also includes the basic hierarchy of the Adepta Sororitas and while the information on it is pretty much the same is in the previous version, this one has been visually improved a lot. The section also includes two short stories, both of which are entertaining. The first is a entertaining piece that sees a Battle Sister in a fight against heretics, but it is the second piece focusing on a Sister Repentia that is my favourite for the nice action. The artwork and showcase sections are also as good as usual, although, as is often the case, some more variety in colour schemes for the models shown in the pictures would have been nice.
The rules section of the book contains the Combat Patrol rules, Detachments, Datasheets, and Crusade rules as normal, all of which seem reasonably by the standards of the edition. The four Detachments in the book are okay, giving some interesting theming possibilities, particularly in the case of the Penitent Host with its focus on Arco-Flagellants and Sisters Repentia. The Crusade rules, meanwhile, are pretty much the same as in the previous edition, allowing players to create their own Living Saints, but it does fit the themes of the faction very well.
