Blake Madden is a bear on a mission. Three missions, to be exact. One: Kick-start the PAC's health program. Two: Sniff out an elusive flower and destroy it. Three: Claim that curvy witch as his mate.
Jasynta Morgan is a witch on a mission. Make that three missions. One: Stop a takeover bid for her coven. Two: Find an elusive flower and protect it. Three: Resist--or is it seduce?--that hunkalicious werebear.

These stories are done in parts. I see each puzzle going and I can't wait to see the picture. In the first part we see the way the witch and the bear react towards each other. Wee see the spark now we see the fire. There are many things going on in New Moon City. I like that each characters plays a pivotal role in saving the city. I liked the witch Jasynta she is clever, attentive and agressive. We all want her to win she is definitely a character that we can identify with.
Jasynta is a devious witch with a big heart. Blake is big and tough but a softy. I don't know why he tries to ignore his attraction to her. The one issue I have about the series is that I would like to know how the society was able to become such a mix of humans and supernatural. I really like the world that was created.
A little slower than the 1st book in the Mate series. Took me a while to get into. Was a good place to take up where book one ended. Is part of Kindle Unlimited. Bear shifter books aren't usually my thing so it was okay.
