Lo was getting on my nerves. Does anyone else think that Ryan and Donna was messing around with each other? I think it's mighty funny that he romantic with Lo before the cruise but when she came back he wanted to be all lovie dovie? Jah knew who he wanted.
Lo was a little aggy to me. She cut ties with Jah because of what she assumed he did. I'm glad she found out the truth. He'd always put her first. After ten years she was still the love of his life. I'm glad she finally got her mind right. I'm glad Donna got touched she was really doing too much. I'm glad Chuck got Jade back. I was surprised Trev's ho azz changed for Tiff. Great read.💜💜
OMG great read from Aleisha Dawn I really enjoyed this book
London and Jahir had history they were in a relationship for years she broke up with because some women answered his door she thought he was cheating on her. London put her feeling aside and now she engaged to Ryan who is nothing like Jahir. Ryan was a true boxing fan who was very inconsiderate of feeling and wasn't a right fit for her. London and Jade were both teachers of elementary school the school year for the Summer. Jade and Tip planned her brachloratte party and girl trip on a cruise to the Bahamas. Who knew their girl trip would turn into her and Jade reunited with their true love. London was sure how she felt about Jahir being on the cruise with her ex-love . So many unresolved emotional issues between her a Jahir. Jahir and London still had feeling for each other and he was trying to respect her engagement to Ryan. London was always comfortable with Jahir and Trevor, and Chuck they went to high school together. Donna one of so-called friends betrayed her and told her personal business about her and Jahir past relationship and to put icing on the cake at her and Ryan rehearsal dinner. London broke off engagement to Ryan and she realized he wasn't what she wanted she was in love with Jahir she never got over him. Jahir granny had a stroke and he flew back to Dallas to see about his family. Now Jahir and London are happily married and have a 1 year old daughter Camille. And Jade and Chuck are married and 5 month pregnant. I would love to hear about the couples even though Tip and Trevor got together.
Okay so I liked this read but honey Lo worked every nerve I had 😂. She was acting so childish but I’m glad she had some real friends to get her together. Jah was living out his dreams but knew that something was missing from his life feeling completely. Running into his first love shook things up and as much as he tried to stay away, that was easier said than done. Ryan was a clown smh and his mom needed her behind beat. Donna was trash and I’m glad Jade got on her. I’m glad everything worked out for all the couples !!
Jah and Lo found each other again and love BTW them were still there ...
Ryan wasn't the man for her how dare you get vestocomy without telling your Fiance he knew he didn't want kids but frfr I think he was cheating that whole time something just ain't adding up!!!
What's meant to be will be because Her friends found there happiness too
Trevor and Tip was the relationship I didn't see happening but look sometimes it takes the right person to come in your life!!!!!
Things felt very rushed in the end. Lo was so very immature and childish depth the day she handled Jah years ago and in the present. Character development was a little lacking. Why was Ryan so neglectful? I just knew that the writer was gonna reveal so infidelity. Donna was disliked by the friend group but she didn't really do anything too egregious. I just knrw that we would find out something major but again just another unanswered question. Plot, storyline, and character development was very basic.
I am so glad that London got it together in time because I just knew she was going to fumble Jah again because she wanted to play it safe. I’m happy Jade got ahold of Donna because she needed that beat down. Tip was the chill one and I like how she put Trev in his place. Chuck got his woman back. These book was good from the beginning to end. I like how the friends all were. So I suggest you read this book
Aleisha Dawn, gurl, this read right here. I was happily surprised I was wrong with the twist. Ryan was a piece of work. But Lo had me ready for a one on one conversation. I enjoyed the true friendship between the girls. You showed a good lesson in their circle, do not trust everyone. Such a good read. Until next time🤗🤗🤗🤗
This was an ok read. I liked Jah and Chuck. Trevor was too much. Chuck and Jade got right on track whereas London got on my nerves with her back and forth attitude. I’m glad Jah made her come to him instead of chasing her. Ryan was too much of a momma’s boy. Donna was a jealous trick.
A misunderstanding costs multiple years of going without your heart, so she settles. But a bachelorette cruise put you in front of your past. Feelings once hidden now resurface. Will a second chance at love be just what Lo and Jah need to jolt what's missing in their lives? But if so, what about her man and commitment? Get into this story and find out what happened with Lo and Jah.
So I'm supposed to believe they were together HAPPILY for FIVE YEARS but yet you did NOT confront him when you thought he had cheated????????? like be so freakin forreal... the miscommunication trope was on steroids for real. Because Lo forreal.. 10 years missed and you didn't have all the damn facts smfh. I wanted Jah to chalk her ass because she was still finna marry Ryan knowing she was not happy
I’m a sucker for love romance. Loved this story line. Who knew a trip to the Bahamas would bring old loves back together gain. They got Donna good. Loved this from beginning to the end. Lo and Jah are meant for each other as well as Jade and Chuck. Trevor and Tip finally settle down with one another 😂💕💕
London is set to be married in a month so her and her girls are going to the Bahamas for her bachelorette party. The last thing she expected was the run into her ex Jahir “Jah”. Sparks are still flying and the love can’t be denied. This is a second chance sports romance. I enjoyed reading even tho all was getting me tight I thought her and Jah were super cute. Short read. I would recommend.
I enjoyed the book from beginning to end. Tbh I thought Ryan was having an affair or on the DL. Not Trevor and Tip together. Jah and Chuck ending up with their first loves Lo and Jade, all well that ends well.
Beautiful story! I knew London and Jah would get back together. Ryan was not the one for her, plus his mother never liked London. I am so happy that her friends and Jah's friends are together also. Great Read!
I love the Jah was so selfless and he was very family oriented I honestly thought Ryan was on the down low or cheating because him not being intimate with his fiance for over a month is crazy. I'm glad Lo came to her senses and called off the wedding.
This was a good read. I ain't gonna lie. Lo hot on my damn nerves. I loved Jah. That Donna was a jealous heiffa. And Ryan I didn't care for either, he was so selfish in my eyes. But it was definitely a good read...
No this is how a book is supposed to go This was 10 across This was 10 across the book I enjoyed this book so This was 10 across the book I enjoyed this book so This was 10:00 the book I enjoyed this book so much read it in 1 day
This was a good read from friends to something more. One never knows when true love will enter into your life. Sometimes there are obstacles you must go through before you commit to them. I enjoyed this read
I love this story. I couldn’t put this book down. I kinda figured out what was going to happen but I wasn’t prepared for the twists this love story had. The characters was so real. A must read!!!
I'm so glad they reconnected. Lo needs to stop running when she thinks Jah is cheating oh her she needs to say and ask questions. I can't believe they lost ten years because she thought he was cheating on her.
I loved all the characters and the storylines for the trio of friends!! I especially loved how the author displayed that black love can be a strong, beautiful and lasting bond!! Great read !! 💥💥💥
This was a really good story. It could’ve been great, except the ending felt rushed. I would’ve liked to have seen a little bit more with the couple before the epilogue.
A good read with a great storyline. Lovin, jealousy, and the wrong man made for a interesting storyline. With likeable characters I enjoyed reading their journey.
