“Is it not amazing that we have no problem with people wearing themselves out in sports for pleasure, work for money, politics for power, and programs for charity, but think it fanatical to so pray for souls? We would die for national freedom, but never for progress in the Kingdom of God. Is it any wonder we see so little of God's great working?”

Yes this is what I call a timely (Past, Present, & Future) revelation concerning the power of prayer and the importance of persisting in such. Many a times we read the stories of great men who wrought great signs and wonders in the building of God's Kingdom. However, much is often left unsaid concerning the power behind their success and those who partnered with them. This book brings to the forefront a man who was the shadow of one of the greatest revivalist ever known, D.L. Moody. Moody is known to have brought thousands of hearts to a place of seeing, believing, and understanding the salvation of Christ. He was a walking revivalist and the fruits of his work still abide. The secret behind this profound revivals is what this book reveals i.e. the unceasing intercessions of Daniel Nash who partnered with him.
On the other end, I expected to read concerning the process of his life coming to such a place of dependence on God's power, but unfortunately this remains unknown.
Overall, this is a short and power-packed read.

Less than 30 pages and perfect timing from the Lord. Utterly convicting of prayerlessness
