Beware of new faces. No one is safe.

Vivvy Benson thought her biggest worries with the eighth grade were going to be too much homework, the big fall band concert, and dealing with the school bullies. Instead, she is trying to figure out who is sending her mysterious messages and if they’re about the new art teacher, the new student, or something else entirely!

This fast-paced middle grade horror is great for fans of scary stories, witchcraft, and the power of friendship!

I loved it! It was cool. They need to make more books like arts and crafts.

I have listened to the Audible version of this book.
This is an excellent listen from Danielle Muething who also does a brilliant job of the narration. It is fast paced with a group of well developed and very engaging characters. It is amusing in parts when Vivvy and Ronnie start to investigate the strange messages that appear on Vivvy's laptop. It is also creepy when witchcraft makes an appearance. All in all a very good listen and I would recommend to anyone who enjoys mid school stories that keep you guessing. I would gladly listen to more offerings from this author.

Vivvy and her friends Joanie and Ronnie start off eighth grade unexpectedly with some new faces. Vivvy then receives a message warning about new faces and proceeds to investigate.

I enjoyed getting to know Vivvy and her friends. This story was fast-paced and really pulled me in. It was suitably creepy without being graphically horrific. The narration was excellent. I think any middle schooler and older would enjoy this story.
