This one is hard to rate as it is full of ideas and I appreciate the authors humility through her conveying of ideas on parties one could through for large groups - but most of the ideas are pretty dated.
She shares that one of the guests they invited to a party declined because they were tired of group events … and by the end of the book I was thinking that, too. I would hate to continually be invited to such busy parties where there were all the things were so extensively thought out; games, name tags, conversation starters, the food, the prayers … whew. It’s a lot.
