Wilde Shorts is a collection of Happy Ever Afters featuring princes, valets, professors, and even a snarky, raccoon-stealing fan-favorite. Grab this collection to read the following stories:
Princeling: royal flash fiction featuring the beloved characters from Felix and the Prince.
The Billionaire’s Valet: a short-story featuring King Lior’s childhood best friend, Iggy, who races across Africa with a broken heart in search of the dedicated valet who’s always loved him.
Flirt: a laugh-out-loud novella featuring snarky Stevie and the grumpy fire chief who can’t stay away from him. Cameos include one unexpected raccoon named Zorro.
Arthur & Max : the story that comes after the epilogue of Wilde Love, featuring King Lior’s valet and a super-sweet Wilde cousin who’s always wanted his very own Wilde love.
Professor Platonic: a student/professor story featuring a Wilde cousin and his greatest enemy. When Jack Wilde loses out on an incredible research opportunity, he goes looking for platonic comfort to distract him from taking wild revenge on the professor who screwed him over. Only… the man who shows up to offer comfort is none other than the professor who caused the problem in the first place.
All of the stories included in Wilde Shorts are set in the Forever Wilde world. With the exception of Princeling, all of them can be enjoyed on their own without reading other books in the Forever Wilde series.
I write M/M romance with humor, heart, and heat. Check out my backlist here on GR for a selection of series and standalone or visit www.LucyLennox.com!
I only keep a small list of my very favorite books and series in my bookshelf here. I read A LOT and it's hard to keep the list updated!
Princeling - Lio and Felix's son (cousin Winnie's egg and Lio's sperm, surrogate a royal cousin Sophie) is born and they call him Chris
The Billionaire's Valet - Iggy (Lio's best friend) and Jon. Jon was Iggy's valet since Iggy was 14 and Jon was 24. Iggy has always loved him. When Jon quits (after 20 years), Iggy books a Safari because it was something Jon always dreamed about. It turns out that Jon is on the same train. We also know that Jon has been in love with Iggy since he was 19 and Iggy has been in love with Jon. Iggy tried telling him a few times Jon did not believe him. Iggy finally lays his cards on the table and tells Jon he's in love with him. This story takes place a few years after Felix and the Prince (Chris has been born). In the epilogue 1 yr later, Jon and Iggy are engaged and godparents to Felix and Lio's baby daughter Penny.
Flirt - Stevie and Evan. Stevie (21) has had a crush/been in love with Evan (over 40 chief of the fire dept) since the 6th grade. Now, Evan is finally seeing him as a man and pursues him. There is some tension with Stevie not believing Evan thinks of him as an adult but eventually he realizes Evan does after some financial drama and Stevie's mom having a breakdown and she and little sister Willow move into Evan's garage apt. and Stevie becomes the manager at Sugar Britches. Evan and Stevie get engaged at the end.
Arthur and Max - Arthur (Lio's valet) and Max Wilde hook up at the vineyard where the Wilde snd Marian families are for Doc and Wes/Major's vow renewal and Wes seeing his sister Tilly for the first time since he left at 17. They fall fast and Max stays with Arthur and becomes the nanny to Lio and Felix's kids
Professor Platonic - Hack and River. Jack Wilde is a grad student and has a professor who seems to hate him. When Jack is denied a spot on a research expedition he thought was all but guaranteed, he knows it was Professor Henry who wrote him a bad recommendation. He is sad so his cousin Hallie makes him use an app (Heart 2 Heart) to find a platonic partner for a night of cuddles. Unbeknownst to Jack, Professor Henry (River) actually had a crush on him snd was trying to stay professional. Also, he knew about a scandal that is about to break regarding the expedition which is why he made sure Jack didn't get in. River responds to Jack's cuddle request (they are both anonymous) and when he shows up at the door they're both shocked. Jack has panic attack but River quickly calms him down and tells him the truth about the whole situation since he is no longer his professor. River is about to move to Yale to take a job there. they have an immediate connection and Jack decides he needs to change and will take a new research position that is close to Yale. In the final wrap up, we find out that two months later they get married in Vegas and two years later start their own research expedition. Cute story.

Fun collection of short stories - makes me want to head back into the Wilde for a re-read, and this series wasn't even my favorite of Lucy Lennox's work. (Right as Raine is still head of the line)
Slightly marred by her choice to misspell come with three letters, but she and May Archer are two authors who can write a story that is delightful enough to let me (mostly) ignore it, even though it is increasingly a pet peeve. There's even one story in the mix that does not contain this particular bit of nastiness. I was quite thrilled to see it, but I'm not expecting to see this phenomenon again. (Though one can hope...)
I love this collection of Wilde whirlwind romances, some have been a slow burn and some are instalove, but we get to join them for that moment when everything changes, the chemistry sparks and a forever is born. We know the Wilde's are known for being....wild, but they are also sweet romantics who just want to be loved and this collection allows us a peek into numerous of the Wilde siblings and their extended "family" members as they find their man. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Omgawd! The mix was too darn short and could have easily doubled (even tripled) in length, laughter, and love!
Well done, Lucy, but I don't want to leave The Marians and Wildes, especially as there are so many cousins, friends, and co-workers that we (yes! I include myself!😉) can write about!
Oh I had already read 2 of the shorts in this. I did enjoy the ones I hadn't read yet. These characters are just so loveable. You'll want to read the entire series!
Set of short to medium length stories providing expanded detail about characters and events which received only minor attention in the original Wilde series books. Not necessary but better if you have read the series first.
The absolute best part about this book - and I can't stress that enough - is that it gave me a reason to read Flirt again, which is my absolute favourite Forever Wilde story. I loved this very much.
I adored these quick scenes and novellas bundled into one book. It was just enough Wilde's to satisfy the craving with some sweet extended happily ever after scenes.
So sad to leave this family! I had just absolutely adored this series. Max and Arthur’s story was an absolute favorite! I would love to read more about them!
