Lost Heir is the second book in a fantastic trilogy. I was an ARC reader for the first book, and I missed sign ups to do an ARC read of this one. When I saw the ARC was up for the third book, I RAAAAAAN and bought the Kindle version of Lost Heir so I could read it before reading Warrior Princess. SO WORTH IT! So keep in mind that I purchased this book in the series, and I will likely be getting physical copies of all three in the future as ✧˖° trophies ✧˖°!

The character and world building are all meticulously maintained through the first two books, leaving no plot holes. Relationships are picked up, carried on, mended, damaged (queue some side eye here, y'all are in for a wild ride from here on out).

Ronan maintains his perfection status, but he really isn't morally grey anymore - which isn't a bad thing in this case. He is still viewed as morally grey by some people in the book though, so that scratches the itch. I definitely stayed head over heels for him and those crimson eyes. ("When you come undone, I want you to be looking at me." WITH THOSE CRIMSON EYES LOOKING AT ME SPEAKIN THOSE WORDS?! THE SCREAM THAT I WOULD SCREAM)

"It was in this moment, balancing between the beauty of the courtyard and the majesty of the Grand Hall, that I felt the full weight of my return to Valoria - a blend of duty, anticipation, and the silent promise of challenges to come." Oh but the challenges yet to come are much greater than you could ever imagine... But oh boy is she ready for them. But fellow reader, are you?

If you need adventure, romance, a badass FMC, and a loving MMC who cherishes her AND fights for her (and with her) - start this series ASAP.

“I’m no one’s property. I’m not yours to keep or give away.”
“When you come undone, I want you to be looking at me.”

Lost Heir is the second book in the Blood Weaver trilogy and picks up right where the previous book ends.

The story continues to follow Leila, Marcellus, Caelan, and Ronan, and there’s also some new characters. I again liked Leila as a main character; she’s strong and fierce and doesn’t need anyone to save her.
I also enjoyed Ronan as a character and liked seeing the friendship and possible relationship between him and Leila develop.

I wasn’t a fan of Caelan, and he got on my nerves a few times. The possible love triangle wasn’t my favorite trope, but in my opinion, it worked well for the plot.

The pacing was fast but didn’t feel rushed. The plot was interesting, with a lot of secrets, revelations, and drama, keeping me entertained and interested from start to finish.

I can’t wait to read what happens next!

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.

"Lost Heir," the riveting sequel to Karina Espinosa's "Blood Weaver," delves deeper into the intricate web of fantasy, romance, and political intrigue. This book picks up with Leila, now revealed as Princess Lyanna of Valoria, as she navigates new trials and deceptions in her homeland.

Returning from the harsh realities of the Central Plains, Lyanna is accompanied by Prince Caelan of Eldwain and Ronan, a former hostage from the Crimson Clan of the Grasslands. The fragile peace of Valoria is quickly tested when the king, striving to avoid war, commands Ronan’s release. This decision sets off a chain of events that will challenge Lyanna’s perceptions and loyalties.

Ronan, now free, confronts Lyanna with revelations and pleas for forgiveness, unearthing truths that shake her core beliefs. Their relationship, fraught with tension and unresolved feelings, becomes a central pillar of the story. Espinosa masterfully weaves their emotional struggles with the larger political stakes, creating a narrative that is both intimate and grand in scope.

The grand banquet hosted by Lyanna’s father serves as a focal point for the novel, drawing dignitaries from across Asteria. However, the festive atmosphere is marred by the presence of uninvited dangers and internal conspiracies. Espinosa’s knack for building suspense is on full display here, as the shadows within their own ranks threaten to turn celebration into catastrophe.

One of the novel’s strengths is its complex character development. Lyanna’s journey from Leila to embracing her identity as Princess Lyanna is compelling, showcasing her growth and resilience. Ronan’s character is equally well-crafted, as he grapples with his past deceptions and seeks redemption. Their evolving relationship, marked by mistrust and longing, is both poignant and engaging.

The plot is enriched with Espinosa’s vivid world-building and attention to detail. The prophecy that looms over Lyanna and Ronan adds an element of mystique and urgency, propelling the story forward. The stakes are high, and every decision they make could lead to salvation or ruin for their lands.

"Lost Heir" is a testament to Karina Espinosa’s storytelling prowess, combining action, romance, and political intrigue in a seamless narrative. Fans of the series will find this installment satisfying and thought-provoking, as it raises questions about trust, destiny, and the power of truth. With a cliffhanger that leaves readers eager for the next book, "Lost Heir" is a must-read for anyone invested in the Blood Weaver Trilogy. Highly recommended for lovers of fantasy romance with a touch of epic adventure.

Is she a badass FMC? No. Does she out maneuver enemies? Also no. Does she possess any shred of common sense? Definitely NOT. Did I enjoy reading it anyway? Absolutely, I did!

Asteria is rife with political games. Everyone has a hand in the pot: The Grasslands, Valoria, Eldwain, Ellyndor, and Keldara. Even the Central Plains play a part in this chess game of power moves and hidden agendas.

Our main characters, Leila and Ronan have found themselves smack dab in the middle of everyone else’s grab for power.

As they fight for each other and the peace of the realm, they find themselves hunted from all angles. Nowhere is safe for them; not even in their own respective kingdoms. Or homes for that matter.

If we look at this book completely ignoring the FMC, it is a wild tale of adventure, prophecies, and warring kingdoms. There are mages & mermaids, demons & goddesses, heirs & crown princes. Magic is wild, free, and holds secret power that no one truly understands… yet.

Love is determined to triumph after being tested so relentlessly, but more tests of fate lie ahead for our lovers. Power is a driving force for the actions of many. Those who have it are never satisfied with what they have, and will always seek more. Corrupting oneself in the pursuit of untold power seems to have befallen many of our Asterians.

What I’ve decided is:
I equal parts love Orion and want to smack him at the same time.
Ronan is too good for Leila.
Leila is one of the biggest idiots that’s ever fictionally existed.
&& Henry is by far the best character of this entire book and I hope everyone sees that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Viktor is rising exponentially in my fav characters list and I absolutely cannot wait to see how big of a badass he will be in the final installment of the Blood Weaver Trilogy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5
🌶️🌶️/5 (rating based on quantity of spice rather than level bc it’s not a taboo or dark romance type of book)

I love the dramatic cover, with the swords and crimson sash across them. It has aspects in common with the cover of Blood Weaver meaning it gives a really cohesive look to the series.

The book begins with a scene from the past when a young Ronan visits Eldwain with his father Chief Aryan who tells him to go off & meet his peers. When a young Ronan spots Princess Lyanna with a group of friends including Caelan who turns his back on Ronan calling both him and his people 'barbarians' but later the young Princess Lyanna talks to Ronan and at one point during their interaction even asks to plait his hair. The hair of the men of the Crimson Clan is considered sacred and touched only by their own clan women. Despite this Ronan allows the young Princess Lyanna to touch and plait his hair. This previous meeting, though brief makes an impression on the young Ronan and is probably how he realises Leila is the Princess when he meets her and she reveals she is from Valoria.

Lyanna is really worried about Selene when she gets no reply from a note she sends before she sets off back to Valoria but theres no sign of Selene nor Orion the fae who is supposed to be purchasing her freedom on Princess Lyanna's behalf. Caelan chooses to reveal the reason Marcellus was missing from the battle was that he was buying Selene from Madame Rose at the Rose Petal Lounge. Lyanna questions Caelan whether Marcellus bought or freed Selene. Caelan almost gleefully clarifies that Marcellus bought Selene.

When Lyanna confronts Marcellus about his buying Selene and his intentions towards her, theres an argument Marcellus calls Lyanna a "Crimson Whore.' Caelan enters the argument reminding Marcellus not to talk to his older sister in that way and Marcellus makes a remark about not thinking Caelan would want 'Ronans sloppy seconds' in reference to Lyanna. Lyanna has to deal with the increasingly unwanted attentions & affections of Caelan who seems to think she belongs to him and doesn't keep his intentions very subtle or quiet. If all that isn't enough it seems that at least one of Lyanna's parents is plotting against her and supporting Caelans intentions. Maybe Lyanna can use this parental divide of opinion to her own advantage. Lyanna is determined not to follow the future one parent has mapped out for her, meaning this parent and is far from happy when Lyanna rebels.

It's clear Lyanna feel stifled and trapped now she is back at the Palace but she knows she has to pick her battles with her parents carefully. Lyanna preferred and misses her life as Leila the healer, she has seen and experienced the world outside the Palace and has ideas of her own how things should look in her future. She refuses to be used as a pawn in some power game created by others. With the arrival of Ronan's father the Chief Aryan, leader of the Crimson Clan, at her parents invitation, Lyanna has yet another person intent on using her for their own gains.

With all these problems it's no wonder Lyanna let's her looking out for Selene and protecting her from the Queen and her followers slide, but she isn't afraid to stand up for her friend, and Lyanna and Marcellus uniting and speaking up for Selene brings them closer together again, which is a good thing as I think Lyanna is going to need all the help she can get and as many allies as possible to fight alongside her for the future she desires.

Lost Heir is packed full of amazing characters from the main ones to the smaller ones. Characters I absolutely loved in Lost Heir, were of course Lyanna/Leila, Ronan the brave, loyal Henry. I also continue to like Selene at the moment too.
I will say I warmed a little more to Marcellus, and Silas again. I also immediately took an instant liking to Viktor who we meet when he is guarding Princess Lyanna on her return to the Palace. Its then revealed he is Sir Edric's son. He is very subtle and tactical how he protects Lyanna without making her feel stifled or taking over her life. It is his idea to put Tessa, a mage warrior in place as Lyanna's Lady in waiting.
I aren't sure whether the fae Orion is friend or foe to Lyanna, I'm hoping its friend and if things go wrong with the prophecy he could maybe help put things right. It also seems like Mikhal on one hand is Lyanna's friend but perhaps she should be worried what he will want in return.
I admit to enjoying hating Caelan and really hope that he gets a suitable comeuppance preferably at the hands of Lyanna or if not maybe Marcellus.

My immediate thoughts upon finishing Lost Heir were, Wow! How could you end it there!!! So to say I am eagerly awaiting the final installment is an understatement!

Summing up, definitely recommend reading this series, I'm seriously loving it! It's difficult to say more without giving much away, but I can't wait to see how the prophecy unfurls. I desperately want Lyanna or her more free, happier version Leila and Ronan to be together, but I feel there are more hurdles and battles for Lyanna to climb and conquer and more to be revealed before that can happen. I look forward to reading it.

Learning the full wording of the prophecy that would bring the Fox Demon, Leila has come to understand why Ronan hadn’t told her the whole truth. He was searching for a means to answer the prophecy while yet saving her. Entering Valoria after being gone so many years she was first comforting by the welcome of her people, however, upon entering the Grand Hall the feeling of confinement was stifling; she knew there would be challenges ahead. Her father’s welcome was warm, so different from the look on her mother’s cold face. At once she knew there would be problems. Caelan’s anger was clearly felt, he had resented her spending any time with Ronan on the journey. The march now over, Ronan was freed on the orders of her father, trying to prevent trouble between the Grasslands and Valoria. Ronan is free but closely watched during his time at Court.
Court politics are like ground fog swirling around their feet, whispers of war hanging in the wind, the Queen’s displeasure could be tasted in the air and Caelan’s rage was hanging in the shadows ready to pounce. Leila has been changed by the things she has seen as well as by her interactions over the years with people at all levels. A change that will not bode well for the plans some have for the Lost Princess.

Housed in the Northern Castle while Leila is in the Eastern Castle, Ronan still manages to find his way to her suite in order to assure her of his love and protection even against his father. While in the face of her mother’s angry disapproval, the two manage to spend time together talking, making plans and exploring their love which has grown beyond mere words and has culminated into the physical realm. Ronan and Leila are not the only ones that are searching for answers to questions that arise there are murmurs of a lost heir, talk of war on the horizon, whispers of rebellion and a push for a political for a marriage. Marcellus surprisingly stands up to his mother in favor of his sister and has his father agreeing that he will never force his children to marry against their wishes. When Caelan discovers Leila and Ronan in a compromising position, his plotting becomes even more assiduous as he whispers his lies into most willing ears. Ronan needs to leave Valoria before Caelan’s lies get him imprisoned once again. Help comes from an unexpected source as Marcellus finally starts to realize that something is very wrong with his old friend Caelan, that he is a danger to both his sister and Ronan. Plans for Ronan’s escape will now include Leila since she won’t leave his side. They quickly flee for their lives. While running towards what they believe is safety, they find unexpected allies, and learn dark secrets that come to light.
But will they find the help they need or is death awaiting them. Together Ronan and Leila are stronger but with so many secrets yet to come to light and villains still hiding behind friendship the ending is still uncertain as we await the final chapter yet to come.

Court schemes and politics across all three realms, have need of Lyanna for her position and powers. What they don’t realize is the past ten years has allowed Leila to gain some control over her powers, to delve into even darker powers and she won’t hesitate to use them. No one will ever control her life again. Her choices, decisions, for good or bad will be her’s alone.

There are whispers of a Lost Heir, but who is this person? Why is Lyanna's mother so eager to see her tied in marriage to Caelan? What is really behind Caelan’s insistence that Lyanna will be his?

There is treachery, jealousy, insatiable ambition, danger, characters from “Blood Weaver ‘’ will show up to help carry the tale further, spicy romance and distorted beliefs that could bring death. I couldn't finish it fast enough and will now go back to read "Blood Weaver" and "Lost Heir" while wanting to learn of the fate of those who have drawn me into their world.

Could not put this book down! It’s full of danger/intrigue/betrayal and twists. It has characters you will cheer for, and some you will want to see justice for how they treated leila.

This book picks up where the last book left off, so you definitely need to read them in order.

There are twists and betrayals almost from the beginning, we see characters true colours emerge (some will shock, others will have you saying to yourself that you were right not to trust them!)

And I was surprised at Leila’s parents. Her dad was great, her mother, well let’s put it this way, maternal feelings were definitely amiss!!

In this book, even more danger and intrigue are thrown at Leila! This character doesn’t really get a break!

I did get a little confused when characters kept calling Leila, Lyanna. But if you remember she’s in hiding, so took on an assumed name! 🤔

Leila wants to help Ronan, but when she does, all it does is put her life in peril!! But she’s resourceful (so I’m hoping there is a backup plan in place!)

We also see Leila slowly come into her power, her full potential isn’t there yet, but when it does, she’s going to be unstoppable.

I’m still on the fence about her brother (Prince Marcellus) and Prince Caelan, I’m waiting for them to choose what side they are really on! Ronan although part of the Crimson Clan (those want to rid the realm of Leila) is definitely trying to redeem himself with Leila. But it’s hard to trust someone that has betrayed you already!
But even Ronan will have to adjust to betrayal that is thrown his way! They really are going to have to work together to find away through this.)

Oh CLIFFHANGER warning!! It took me by surprise. And now I have to wait for the next book to find out what happens next!

So if you like an action-filled paranormal romance with lots going on, I highly recommend the previous book and this one. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

This is the second book in this series, and it is such a shocker in a way that makes you want to just syh lol.

Yes she finally realizes that she needs to be with Ronan but everyone is against this and it becomes clear that the childhood friends she had are no longer her friends. She goes against everyone and everything to make her heart happy with being with Ronan and going to the Central Plains but then things take a wrong turn and we just don't know what will happen from here.

On another point in this story, I am thinking that it is someone very close to her that is the evil person in her life and it is someone who I think she is trusting when she should'nt be but I guess we shall find out in the next installment in this series.

I am sorry but I don't like giving away spoilers because you really need to read this book and the series to get into it so that you can figure out what I am talking about and then you can tell me if you are thinking that it is the same person that I am....

Grab this book, it is a total page turner just like the first one and make sure that you grab the next one when it is available too so you can come to find who is the big bad evil person she should not be trusting in her life.

This book picks up where the previous book left off with Leila, Marcellus, Caelan and their captor Ronan traveling to Valoria and what a journey they have. I don't want to give anything away, but true colors start to show early on and there will be characters you will love and hate. I absolutely love Leila (Lyanna) dad Malik but when it comes to her mother Derinda, there's a feeling but it isn't love. There's even more danger than before as threats, power plays and plotting are amongst those closest to Lyanna. Lyanna must learn the extent of her full power if she has any hope of surviving but her actions to help Ronan puts her life in peril. There is no way I believe she will give up that easily. After everything she has been through there is no way that I will accept her willingness to agree with the Grasslands Chief plans without a backup plan. This story ends with a betrayal and a cliffhanger. I can't wait to find out how Lyanna handles the situation she finds herself in, and how Ronan will react once he realizes someone close to him betrayed him after an agreement was made. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the final book in this trilogy.

Lost Heir is the sequel in the Blood Weaver Trilogy with Leila and Ronan as your main characters. Ronan is definitely my favorite, tho I'm thinking Mykal might be a close second lol I really love the connection with Ronan and Leila and I feel like we see more of that in Lost Heir. I feel like so much more came into play in this sequel, we not only got to see more of Ronan's character but that of Marcellus, Mykal, and Caelan. Their true selves seemed to emerge along with secrets being unveiled. And don't get me started on the spice, because it was all the chilis without being too much chili lol Karina did a phenomenal job on keeping her readers engaged and guessing what was to come at the turn of each page. The book has it all, the drama, secrets, prophecies and romance. And we can't forget the cliffhanger, OMG!! I love me some cliffhangers and this one definitely has me in a bookhangover like no other and I can't wait to see what is in store for us with the finale in this trilogy.

This book picks up where book 1 left off. Giving you a seamless transition as to what is happening and keeping you in the moment, the here, the now. We learn more about Leila and who she is, Princess Lyanna of Valoria. Once back in Valoria, Leila is reunited with her family. Selene is with her and a new ally and protector in Viktor, son of Sir Edric. As Leila is immersed back into the politics of being a princess, more and more threats awaken. The chemistry between Laila and Ronan is hot and heady. Caelan is a threat in more ways than one. He's narrow-minded and only cares about himself. And more than once has he hurt Laila trying to get his way. Something Laila will not put up with. Caelan will never have Laila, and his last straw comes when he tries pinning the poisoning of Tessa in Laila. Cailen will never have Laila, and that's fine by me. He can go rot in the underworld where he belongs.

Now that ending.... why you gotta do us like that?

I enjoyed reading how Leila is trying to learn and embrace her powers. She has taken her rightful place as the lost Princess only to learn that she is also known as the Lost Heir and the one her kingdom is depending on to protect and Lead them.

We find out so much in this book. 1) Ronan is really not onboard with his father's plans and has Leila's back 100%. 2) Leila's enemies are closer than ever. Her former best friend and stepmother to name a few. 3) Leila has allies in unsuspecting places 4) Ronan's Father, Caelan and her Stepmother are snakes and won't rest until Leila is either dead or completely under their control.

So many secrets, angst, spice and revelations occur in this book. Leila and Ronan find themselves at a precipice of indecision. Leila wants to help free his people but Ronan can't fathom that kind of sacrifice.

Trust NO ONE!!! All good deeds have consequences whether they are good or bad and Leila has just learned this lesson the hard way.

Amazing!!

OMG this second book in the series was soooo good. We get to find out a bit more about Ronan and Lyanna’s (aka Leila’s) history and when they first met. This book starts with Leila heading back finally to her home with Ronan being captured. She is mad at him for betraying her but of course, she can’t stay mad at him forever. Caelen starts showing his TRUE colors and she gets to the point of actively avoiding him, and her brother shows just how much of an amazing man he really is. She is there and trying not only to keep Ronan safe, but her best friend.

Things start going a little bad for Leila and Ronan after they are caught, and they have to run – especially since Caelen does something HORRIBLE. She makes her way to the Crimson Clan’s land with Ronan and decides to participate in what his people need to have happen to bring back the demon fox… but that ending?? Omg I hope it works out for everyone!! Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Leila is dealing with everyone now knowing her true identity. She has to come to terms with going home after 10 years away. Leila learns her friend is coming with her, thanks to her brother.

Leila has to remember the game of the palace and with those around her. Leila is beginning to see Calean for who he truly is. As her feelings for Ronan continue to grow, she must consider the implications for their relationship. Leila has to quick thinking others are trying to use her as a pawn in her game, will she or Ronan make it out alive?

I couldn't put this book down until I reached the end - it was that good. The world, characters, and plot twists will leave you craving more. Karina never disappoints with her series. I can't wait for the next one. I highly recommend reading this series.

Almost 4.5...almost

"Living life filled with what-ifs will never bring peace."

I'm not sure why, but I wasn't as obsessed with this one compared to Blood Weaver.

I didn't like Caelan in book one, and very much can't stand him in book two.
I felt a lot of the issues in castle life were...so childish.

-He was delusional. Morally deficient. A menace.-
Oh my gosh, morally deficient hahaha!

Still can't decide if I trust her brother, Marcellus, or not.

Henry is still the best ever!

Leila still makes stupid choices!

I just wanted to go back to Leila the healer and Ronan being together on their adventure...castle life sucks and feels more dangerous.

Also, can't stand Leila's mom...she's just awful.

I love Ronan. He's my man but....there was one chapter where I yelled at him to keep his mouth shut AHHH...what he said only stirred the pot more. BUT, ugh, I love him.

"If it's for you, I'd transverse the uncharted North. Nothing is impossible."

"Living life filled with what-ifs will never bring peace."

He definitely felt more romantic in this one...

The ending though...oh boy...it's not what happens in the end that has me mad but what is said...that's what you say????

Anyway, it felt good being back in Leila's world.
Curious what book three will bring...hopefully more Ronan ;)

I am so upset because when I finished this book, I wanted the next one now to see what happens. It was such a shocking cliffhanger, and I feel so much for Leila. I’m calling her that because she likes that better. LOL! Anyway, this book is so full of action, there were times I just couldn’t put it down and read fast to find out what was going to happen. I love all the characters, and in this one we get to see all of their good and bad sides, and a couple are a little bit of a shock. This is a well-written, action-filled paranormal romance/urban fantasy, and I just loved it from the beginning to the end. This is a great addition to the series, and I can’t wait to see how all of this is going to play out. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Picking up where the first book left off, Leila, her long-lost brother, and BFF have captured Ronan, the feared general of the Crimson Clan, after his betrayal and are finally returning home. Despite feeling hurt, Leila can't stay away from Ronan on the trip back to Valoria and they soon realize that they're still on the same side. After being away for a decade, Leila is both excited to return to her family but wary of the court, more specifically, her mother's intentions. Surrounding herself with trusted allies, Leila must navigate her return to her kingdom carefully.

There's so much about this series I'm enjoying, especially the political intrigue that spans across kingdoms. I also love a good love triangle... until a point. My only complaint about this book was how long Leila tolerated Caelan's unwanted physical advances. I was ready to knock him out in the first few chapters.

Overall, I really enjoyed Lost Heir and I'm look forward to the final installment in the series! Thank you to the author, Karina Espinosa, and Lady Amber's Reviews and PR for an ARC of Lost Heir!

I have been waiting for this book since I read book 1 and it did not disappoint.

This picks up right after the events of book 1 and focuses on Leila’s return to her homeland and all the challenges that come with that. I don’t usually enjoy politics in books but this was done really well, just hinting at the political alliances and arranged marriages etc. without overdoing it.

I get such strong Dothraki vibes from the Crimson Clan and Ronan is just.. uh! Love him so much and how he and Leila try to build on their relationship.

Leila is a strong FMC and holds her own and I am here for it. No damsel in distress over here!

There were a couple of moments that got me a bit teary in this! I really hope Henry gets what he asked for in book 3. Little cutie! Made me cry.

Although not a lot plot wise actually happened, this book got me right in the feels. It was more setting the scene for the big finale and showing the relationships evolving.

And that ending!! Cannot wait for book 3!!!

A huge thank you to Hidden Hollow Book Tours for my copy.

I was very invested the Ronan+Leila's love story since the first book, so I was eager to read the sequel.

The beginning of the book was full of tension and angst, told solely from Leila's perspective who finds herself torn between childhood friend, family, responsibilities and expectations as the princess, political affairs and her heart. I was reading that part with baiting breath.

Unfortunately the book lost its spark in the second half. One reason was the too direct narrative and a lot of telling, making the end of the book quite obvious.

As I'm still invested in the story and want to see how the love couple will find their way to their happy end, I'm looking forward to reading the next book.

I enjoyed this continuation of this enemies to lovers series, which is full of court intrigue, secrets, and delicious tension. Karina Espinosa does an amazing job expanding the worldbuilding to include new lands, the crazy plot twists and the brewing tension that finally snaps between Leila and Ronan. Leila becomes a bit more resourceful and sticks to her beliefs better in this book. AHHHH I thought I couldn’t love the steadfast Ronan but damn is he just wonderful. There are more characters to hate in this book and some that show a different light, but the betrayals are still everywhere. That cliffhanger took me out, like damn when is the next book?!

Lost Heir (Book 2 of Blood Weaver Trilogy) by Karina Espinosa is a historical fantasy novel. This novel continues Princess Lyanna (Leila) and Ronan’s story. I do recommend reading book 1 first. Leila and Ronan are amazing characters and so well written. They go through a lot of growth in this book. The other characters are great too. The plot is interesting and flows so well. I love world building it is one of my favorite parts of a fantasy novels. This novel had fantastic world building. I could imagine it in my head, I was not ready for the book to end.
Such a great book and I am so ready for the next one!

This narrative revolves around a fictional tale wherein two individuals must make a difficult decision regarding their relationship and personal sacrifice. Despite facing challenges from adversaries they believed to be trustworthy, their ultimate goal is to fulfill a wish that would bring a loved one back to life and ensure the safety of their community.

Fast-paced and thrilling 2nd book of the Blood Weaver Trilogy!

I absolutely love the characters and world that Karina created. Leila and Ronan are my favorite, but Henry is not far behind. And there are a couple of new characters added as Lyanna returns home that I really like.

I definitely recommend this series. The book does end in a cliffhanger. I will not so patiently be waiting for book 3!!! Can’t come soon enough!.

Holy Cliffhanger
Read Biood Weaver first! This picks up where book one ended. Ronan and Leila are drawn together in such an amazing way, that I could not put it down. Leila does not want Caelan , but he is determined to have her. Her brother helps Ronan and Leila get away, and them there is Ronan's father adding his own twist. I do believe that the next book will right it all. as there are things between the couple that only they know. I LOVED IT!!! No Spoilers!
I received an ARC and I am Leaving this Totally Honest Review because I Choose to and think that this is a FANTASTIC STORY!!!

While I feel this book had a slow start it definitely picked up. Once you start down this part of the story you can't stop. With lyanna back in her kingdom things change greatly for her and all parties involved Between her relationship with Ronan and the complicated feelings she has of being home there is always something to keep you guessing! This was a great second book to the series and I can't wait to see how it ends in the book 3!.

After the end of the first book and the many questions it left me with, I was even more excited about the second book. It is written in a captivating and exciting way and you get a better impression of the story and its characters. I really learned to love Leila as an FMC. I'm really looking forward to the last book in the trilogy.

Leila is back and based on all the truths from the last on eon her way to her real place in the world. But not everything is what you think in this world. And Leila deals with both good and bad as she meets new people. Lots of drama, surprises, intrigue, family, romance and twists and surprises. Loved the story and guessing what might happen next. A great story and wild adventure that Leila finds herself on this time.

I loved this one even more than the first! I'm rooting so hard for Leila and Ronan. And I hope every other male in the kingdoms that is trying to use her for their benefit gets their karma in book 3.

This series is so well written, that I feel like I'm in the middle of this fictional world with the characters. And I can not wait to read about Leila really coming into her powers (which I hope comes up in the last book).

I am so excited I received this book as an ARC as I couldn't wait for the second part of the Blood Weaver!

Continuing from the cliffhanger of the 1st book, the author manages to keep the same pace and I just couldn't put the book down. Whatever you are looking in a romantasy you have it here, fantasy, adventure, romance, intrigue, banter...
Be warned that you will be left with another cliffhanger, until part 3 comes out!.
