Interesting short stories about random guests of a BDSM Club placed in the middle of Peak District. I cringed a few times, especially at first 3 stories. I skipped the Christmas one as I don’t like this holiday and I found Xmas roleplay to be rather cringey.
I enjoyed the Easter Desires the most. Everyone will like different one more than the other due to their personal kinks.
At the end of the day this is a book packed with erotica and smut. After a bit of the book it might feel repetitive but gladly each story represents different parts of BDSM culture and fetish lifestyles. I’m glad the author represented many various kinks and explained them in a non vulgar yet still arousing way. I was also happy to see explaining aftercare and safety around BDSM. It was rather frustrating having to read about the same safety system each time but I guess if those stories were to be read as single novellas then I suppose it’s needed to be repeated each time.
There was a story about a menopause NHS nurse who fancied a bit of cuck with her husband and the way she was so British in her way of speaking/thinking is cringe and hilarious.

Every season gets their own HEA. Different people in different ways and different situations, still ending perfectly and the people are always happy. I enjoyed this book and always loved the characters and their reasons for why they do and want what they do. I highly recommend reading this! Please check TWs before you do!

So to start, let me tell you that this was my first time reading CC Gedling. Secondly, let me tell you that this will NOT be the last time reading her work!! I am totally seduced, not just by the spice but the general writing style and the wit and the connections and the knowledge! Not only does her writing emphasise safety and security and make me believe in the couplings and really see the characters, but it also pulls you in - especially with a list of content warnings so thorough and enticing!
If you’re in a book slump or have recently read the Salacious Players Club series by Sara Cate and are looking for something else on the BDSM club fringe that is perfect parts connections and spice, but shorter and split into seasons - this is 100% the read for you and judging by the snippets of other scenes and finding out there are more stories before or coming soon, they might be perfect for you too. I also totally enjoyed the UK vibes, actually living in the UK myself, and I really loved the new information we get. I have actually learned from reading this one - new words, new experiences, new expectations. I really love how it’s written and how it’s not just steamy, but it’s also informative and sweet. It definitely sparks life and I can’t wait to read all of CC Gedling’s other works. Especially after finding out she is also a mum AND a doctor!? I mean, wow. I am totally blown away and can’t wait to further support this incredible new-to-me author.

Holy hell was this hot. I had signed up to receive an arc copy and last night when I got the notification I was sent a copy I was so excited to dive it!!!
Each story was short but so perfectly written and had given me enough depth and backstory that I didn't even notice it was a short story. The characters were amazing and the Desire Genie was superb!!
Now the spice .... Holy man was it sinful. CC definitely knows how to write it good! I was honestly feral.
This is my first book from CC, and I will definitely add this author to my regular list. Phenomenal!!

Short, sexy stories, well written and very well described the characters and their motivations to try new experiences in BDSM. The writer has clearly described the BDSM community, with the much-needed communication and consent at all times, which I think is very good, given that delicate practices are carried out and all parties involved must be very clear about what will happen and that there is always the option to stop. The stories have happy endings and I personally like that a lot. I will continue reading more of her things because I liked them a lot.

i’m glad i read through the first story as it started off slowly for me and i wasn’t entirely sure about it buuuut this one came through for me. it’s so nice to read BDSM done correctly (idk i assume) or more correctly than a lot of the smut books being forced out on amazon right now. i initially hated the idea of the desire genie but now i’m obsessed w genie. :-/ and thinking about simon & candy & also jacob & daisy - not sure if i’ll delve into all of the above but super satisfied with my blizzard read for the day!

It’s a great introduction to different kinks and tropes in a very safe and controlled setting and I also loved the mix of characters. I read this book with no previous background to any characters and still enjoyed it! The writing style made it a very easy and quick read. I personally felt for how short the stories are there should be a little bit more description. But if you’re looking for a good palette cleanser this is for you

I enjoyed this WAY more than I thought I would! I usually need connection to characters to enjoy the smut but Seasons of Desire did not disappoint! I felt like every short story got better than the last and by the time I finished the book, I was dying to follow the “Desire Genie’s” story.

This was a great set of steamy short stories. All of them are short (of course), but definitely leave you wanting more! I love that the stories tie in to some of the author’s other books, so I get another peek into those settings/worlds that I already loved. The spice was top-tier. Absolutely loved it!

Such a fun book!! I love reading about BDSM and clubs of that sort! The Desire Genie is a great character! Gene is a fantastic Dom! All that dirty talk too! Rawr!

Each of these stories appealed to individuals with varied relationship preferences. Some concepts were completely new to me, but they were so captivating in this book. I particularly enjoyed how the club owner actively participated in assisting people to connect with their partners in each tale. Excited to delve into more stories.

I enjoyed all of the short stories in the book. Each one gave a different type of spice nothing was repetitive. They all leave you wanting from each story. Most of all you're left wanting to know more about Gene and all the secrets he has. My top 2 favorite stories were 1. Halloween Desires and 2. Christmas Desires. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
