Very comprehensive and informative insider’s, blow-by-blow and definitive view of the events leading up to the formation of Equitas relying on detailed notes, press report and publications at the time and a series of interviews with key protagonists. Perhaps a little dry at times – Duiguid was secretary to the Lloyd’s Council among other roles and the book reads more like a factual account than a novelisation, even when discussing people’s motivations and feelings.
