Avid English Breakfast tea sipper and romance author, Len Webster spends most of her days writing, saying good morning to her dogs with kisses or trying to explain how the internet renamed her to Leonard Webster.

The cities of the world might have inspired her, but her entire being is content and at home in a gorgeous, small pinned dot on the map of Melbourne, Australia where every beat, crack, and scar of her heart has influenced the way she tells her stories.

Away from the tea leaves and written words, Len can be found immersed in the food and culture of brand new cities on #TheLenFoodTour or forgetting that her framed Bachelor of Business and Commerce from Monash University still awaits its place on the hook on her wall—sorry, Mum!

In true Len Webster form, WHAT YOU LEFT BEHIND makes your heart stop. Angst is a word that gets tossed around a lot in describing romance novels. But with Julian Moors, rest assured, your heart will be at ease. He's definitely up there with all-time favorite book boyfriends.

At the end of WHAT WE'LL LEAVE BEHIND, you were left with wondering how these two would cross paths again. It is recommended to read these in order with the Thirty-Eight Series (THIRTY-EIGHT DAYS and THIRTY-EIGHT REASONS) because then you'd know a little something that the characters didn't know. Now, of course, I don't want to spoil the fun, but seriously consume every book Len Webster has ever written.

Stevie and Julian met in Thailand and they fall in love hopelessly but after a week together, Stevie left Julian alone in a Thai villa. After four years of regretting her decisions fates decides to make a move and she meets Julian again in her best friend’s wedding. Julian is also broken and after looking around the world for her he returns to Melbourne to his family and friends but doesn't expect to find his love back.

Now that they found each other again, they need to fight for what they believe. Four years have changed both of them and they have different secrets from the past that can keep them apart. Can they pass through the challenges that life will throw to them?

There are many things that I love about the book. First I must say that Julian stole my heart. He is so caring, sexy and funny. There are some parts of the books that I laughed out loud because of the things he said. Even though he was heart broken, he never lost his love for Stephanie, his Stephanie, his blondie

“If we’re being honest, then your initial is still tatted over my heart. Where it’s belonged from the moment I met you”

During most part of the story he is always fighting to prove that he is worthy and win her love back.

I have to make her remember how good we were together.
That no man she has been with could compare to me.
I will be ir for her.

Stephanie on the other hand has been escaping from the past and is afraid to show her real self to the world, but was she is more afraid is to hurt Julian again.

I can't be that person for him
But he’s right.
When I met him, I had lied to everyone but him.
I was Stephanie.
I was the me I didn't want people to know.

The relationship they both share will keep you captivated since the beginning wanting you to read more and more. I must say that I really loved this book. It is good to say that Len Webster won my heart again with her stories. This book is part of the Thirty eight series but it can be read as a standalone. The other character of the previos book are just connected because they are friends. There is also a novella to know more about what happen between Julian and Stephanie in the week they met in Thailand.

The moment I met Stephanie (Stevie), in Thirty Eight Days and Thirty Eight Reasons, I admired her love for her friend. She stood up for her when needed and ultimately brought her back to her one true love Noel when It seemed impossible. But there was something about her. She had a past which she kept secret and which helped her to be the person she is.

I love that the characters are relatable. The female lead is strong willed but has a weakness she doesn’t want anyone to know about…until she’s ready that is. The male lead, Julain, is charming, hilarious, and just fun to be around. Upon finding his lost love he dedicates himself to winning her over and proving to her that she is worthy of him and he loves her no matter what. The moments they shared and the words spoken in love to each other were captivating and heartwarming.

This is another hit for author Len Webster. She told Stephanie and Julian’s story like only she can. Each word was beautifully written with passion and emotion, and they touched the right places.

I need more Len Webster, I need more!

This book makes the readers yearn for more and more right from the beginning words. The characters become close to our heart, and we feel like they're a part of our lives making us miss them as soon as we stop Reading.

The feelings of protagonists Stevie and Julian is portrayed beautifully by the author Len Webster. Stevie has hidden secrets about her, which even her best friend Clara doesn't know.

Julian comes back to Melbourne for good to continue his business there. He attends a wedding where fate makes him meet the girl who he's been searching the entire world for. The way he addresses Stevie as Blondie makes us Aww at the adorable couple.

The story revolves around these two. The novel is in progress on Wattpad. Just two chapters have been uploaded and it's already one of the most popular romance novels.

Another great book by Len. I have read 4 books in a row, in less than a week. That should show you how much I enjoy her writing.

A beautiful written love story. Stevie sees her self as something bad, something evil. But she's just a hurt and confused individual. And what sets her free, is the love of her life; Julian.

I was so curious of how Stevie and Julian's story would work out, and it did not disappoint! The inner conflict of Stevie was so painful. They were both missing each other, and when their eyes met the first time after 4 years away, I was hooked.

Len can make her characters say the most gruesome and horrible things, but when it's true love, all is forgiven.

Another great book. (And I think I have to read “To kill a Mockingbird” soon.)

Okay so I have really had a love-hate relationship with these books and this series, and normally I wouldn't keep putting myself through so much torture but I just felt that if I stuck with these books and this continuing love story/saga with these characters that they would grow on me and I too would experience a 5 star read.

Didn't happen. It almost did with this book, It really did. I was really loving Julian ( I could really feel his pain) and pulling for him but his anger got the best of his and his character went down the rabbit hole. I seriously had to wonder what the author had done to this picture perfect man who loved this woman inside out when he learned of the secret that had her spiraling out of control. It was wrong for him to call her out, call her every name in the book, destroy her character and toss her out like yesterday's trash. Im sorry, but that isn't a redeeming action two weeks later when he comes begging back for forgiveness. Stevie deserved more. Shit happened. It was uncontrollable.

Love is patient, Love is kind....

I had finally gotten into this book, it was going to be a five star read. And then it became a series of unfortunate, unforgivable events.

For that.. I have decided to put off the next book in the series.

So I will be the first to admit that going into this book, I wasn't really sure if I would like it or not. Loved the covers, loved the premise, but it seemed more contemporary than I have been reading lately. I've been struggling with books that weren't dark, dirty, or outright erotic. Let me tell you; I was wrong. I have never been so happy to be so wrong. Because what I couldn't have anticipated, being new to this author, was that her stories are chocked full of the one thing I thrive on; angst. Not only that, but her books have a solid foundation of characters. While this is penned as a spin-off of her Thirty-Eight series, I really feel like it's just book three in that series. Many events and characters were mentioned that I feel like if I had read the other two books first, I would have had a better picture. Not saying that it hindered the current story to the point I couldn't follow it, but if I had to do it all over again, I would have read them first. That being said, they have just moved to the top of my TBR as I have already fallen in love with their characters. So be forewarned; I highly suggest you read Thirty-Eight Days and Thirty-Eight Reasons before this book and its prequel, What We'll Leave Behind.

These characters...WOW! Having already fallen in love with the promise of them on the surface in the prequel, I couldn't have anticipated the level of depth I would be taken to in this phenomenal story. I have a penchant for series that have a strong character base. Ones where it starts with a main character and all subsequent books build from side characters in the original one. There are roots and bonds that can't be denied, and while you get a sense of who they are, you can't wait to read more. And when the author delivers and does it well, it's magic. This book was that and so much more. I love books that take place in other countries because it reminds me that even though we are different, when you peel back the top layer, we are basically the same and exhibit the same traits of human nature. This book was written in a comfortable prose that was so appeasing to the eyes. It was mixed with humor, longing, heart break, mystery, and finally forgiveness. Even though it's infuriating to be subjected to chapter after chapter of a character riddled with guilt she clearly doesn't deserve to feel, it only fuels the angst monster in me. It had me furiously flipping the pages, anxious to see if they would get their act together. Know that they do, but it certainly was no easy road to travel. There will be tears, and not just from the characters, there will be laughter, there will be major swooning, there will be anger, and lastly, there will be an overwhelming love that you will wholeheartedly feel from your head to your toes. You can't help but fall for these characters; it's impossible. They share a once in a lifetime love that can't be denied, yet it was entirely realistic. I give the author major kudos for pulling that off. Though it was quick, this was no typical inst-love folks. It was just simply fate. And fate cannot be denied.

Trust me when I say this story will break you in the best possible way. Stevie is everyone's best friend, always putting others before her own well-being. She the friend you wish you had in your life, and if you are lucky enough, you do. She's incredibly talented and feels so deep. She bears scars from her past that she fears will never truly fade, and even in this story, the hits just keep on coming. When it all hits the fan, that will be your tipping point. You will feel her despair so deep in your bones you will truly believe you'll never see sunlight again. But it is through that that something truly beautiful emerges. She is the personification of there can be no rainbows without a little rain. But whew...that poor girl was hit with a monsoon that just kept pelting her lower and lower. I loved how well these characters meshed together. The two personalities didn't butt heads too much, they just meshed well. Julian's nature was headstrong, yet laid back. He was a strong man that wasn't afraid of what he wanted and the passion he exhibited was blinding to read. And yet he still had a vulnerability that was so completely endearing. He wore his heart on his sleeves and was man enough to display it proudly. With Julian, what you saw it was you got and it was so darn refreshing.

There were many times I wanted to slap one or both of them. Stevie, I wanted to most of the book and I really wanted to throttle Julian at the end. I'll be honest and say that the way he reacted to something crucial left me thinking I wasn't sure I'd be able to forgive him. The hurt was that deep. But I also had the full story and he didn't. So I had to reluctantly cut the man some slack and remind myself of all his other endearing qualities. They say actions are stronger than words, and Julian had the chops to back both up. He was up front from day one about his feelings towards Stevie. Not only was that unexpected, it was refreshing to read. No beating around the bush, no waiting forever for declarations of love. He fell for this girl and he made no qualms about it. While it was the same for Stevie, she was buried under a mountain of self-deprecating grief so deep she couldn't see her way out. But when all our dominoes fell together, every tear was worth the wait. My only qualm is that I would have liked an epilogue set further into the future. But I am an epilogue junkie, so that's my burden to bear. We aren't done with this series and next up is Stevie's friend Aly and Julian's brother Rob, so I am sure we will get more glimpses into the lives of our favorite couple. I for one cannot wait!

Well..let's add another author to my list of authors whose books I need to consume like yesterday once released!

I have never read anything by this author and I have no idea why right now.

I loved, loved, loved this book. Okay so to sum it all up quickly because I refuse to give spoilers, here goes.

Julian and Stevie are it, like legit it! I absolutely loved these two. I adore Stevie (Stephanie) so much, she is strong and admirable but also soft when it comes to that one thing. Julian is the light, he's funny and charming, total package!

I am certain that I will read her books from here on out, trust! Give this a go and meet Stevie and Julian and find out for yourself what I am going on about

This book goes in depth around Stevie and Julian's lives, showing us their struggles after a week of recklessness in Thailand. Long after each turned their backs on one another, they cross paths again by nothing more than pure coincidence. A hidden power - which some like to call fate - plays a game at them, leading them further into the unknown. Now they have to take one last leap that will change the track their whole future is going to take. But are they ready to take that leap, even with every secret clinging to the past?

My rating: 4/5 Stars

The GOOD:

Plot: I'm going to say this over and over again without getting tired of it one time. Len Webster is a SPECTACULAR writer. She's just amazing. There's no better way to explain it. The way she indulges the readers in the depths of her dark, bittersweet stories is unbelievable. I never get bored reading any of her books. They're THAT good. I'm glad I have actually gotten the chance to know her that early in her career.

Pacing: One of the multiple things that got me on board of this story is how neat and realistic it was. The chapters were organized: each event followed one another and everything made pure sense. Believe me when I say that: the literary market needs more of those people on their front row.

Setting: Melbourne again <3 And still as beautiful as it was two books ago. You can never lose interest when reading Len's books. I always loved to read about how amazingly pretty everything is.

Intensity: Emotions! Emotions! Emotions!
The feeels! I just can't. You have to be an expert to be able to make a romance story an actual tragedy without it in fact being one. Ah, the tissues I discarded over those pages.

Details: It's the details that make everything even more realistic than it could ever get to. And there's no better contemporary writer to do it this way. Len can describe how an ant rolls over during its sleep and that would still be interesting.

The BAD:

Reactions: To be honest, some reactions in this story didn't really sound like what a normal person would do or feel. An example of that is how Julian's best friend reacts whenever somebody approaches his wife. It was kinda annoying to the point I had to roll my eyes at it.

Sub-conscious: Stevie is a stupid person. Julian's sub-conscious sounds like a gay person - no offence -. They have to grow some sense. It actually started to get annoying how selfish they both were. Stephanie's choice in the first place was the most annoying thing someone could have ever done. I still can't believe she actually decided to vanish because she was "afraid to say goodbye". For God's sake, who even does that in real life?

Other than that, What You Left Behind was rather a beautiful story. I don't regret reading it and I'm looking forward to reading all of Len's upcoming books that she will hopefully publish in the future.

Never stop believing, Ms Webster, no matter what other people say.

I love reading Len’s work, and I loved this book hard! Having received hints about Stevie and Julian in the earlier Thirty-Eight books (Thirty-Eight Days and Thirty-Eight Reasons) I was really looking forward to finding out more about these two and what happened in their past.

A quick summary – four years ago, Stevie/Stephanie and Julian met while on holiday in Thailand. A whirlwind romance ensued, ending after one week. Since then Stevie has been trying to forget about that week and the aftermath, while Julian has been dreaming of the day he meets her once more.

What We’ll Leave Behind, the novella outlines that week. And it’s free right now, FYI

I have to say – this bunch of friends. I love them. And although What You Left Behind can be read as a standalone, reading the earlier books in the series gives you so much more not only about Stevie and Julian but about the other characters who are such big and important parts of their lives. They all have their own stories, from Noel and Clara to Max, Rob and Ally. It gives it a new realistic dimension when the other characters are given their own stories rather than everything revolving solely around the couple in the spotlight. And within this group. they’re all so important to each other, their lives are intertwined which helps to bring this story to life. At times immature, but at the same time they’re all young adults, still figuring things out and it’s always refreshing to have that human element.

Stevie – I understood where she was after learning what she had been through. She’s a product of her experience, tough and protective, and you have to admire how she is with the people she cares about. The way she wrestles with herself just shows how she tries her best and how far she has come over the years.

Julian is so many things. I love him most of the time (really all of the time), get annoyed with him at times but at the end of the day he’s a caring, funny romantic who has loved Stevie from the beginning. He’s my favourite of the boys so far. Never a dull moment when Julian is around!

In terms of the progression of the plot – I loved the pacing. With character-driven stories such as this, you need to have that element of time to really get to know them, understand why they react and act the way they do without dragging, and that was really nicely done in my opinion. It’s a very emotional story, and I loved reading it.

And I’ll also just say – this book whet my appetite for the next book in the series. All We Have promises to be an emotional ride. I won’t say more on that.

Congrats Len Webster on another great release!

I can only say OH MY, JULIAN!

What You Left Behind is by far one of the best books I’ve ever read! Len Webster managed to draw me in again and made me fall in love with Stevie and Julian’s heartbreaking story.

The book starts at Stevie and Julian’s best friend’s wedding. Four years ago they met at a beach in Thailand (-> What We’ll Leave Behind - It’s really an amazing prequel and I really recommend you read it and get to know how Stevie and Julian met and fell in love four years ago.) and now they meet again. Stevie is really reluctant to let Julian in her life again and wants nothing to do with him. Julian, on the other hand, does everything in his power to win Stephanie’s heart again.

Their story is so emotional and Len Webster manages to surprise me over and over again with her great and unexpected story plot. Her detailed and emotional writing is by far the best I’ve ever come across and it’s so great that she outshines authors like Nicholas Sparks, Stephenie Meyer, Abbi Glines and so many more. Evoking more emotions within me than any other author ever did, Len Webster is my favourite author and I can only recommend her books. Her stories are so great, they make me fall in love with her writings over and over again.

With What You Left Behind Webster created an amazing love story that is special in its unique way. The unique characters draw me in like no others do.
Stevie, who is sexy and broken, and Julian, who is funny and only wants to call Stevie his. It is an amazing book and I can only recommend Len Webster’s books.

Sexy. Hot. Emotional. Funny. Sweet. – a must read

"I love you my Stephanie. My whole heart, all my love, and my entire life are yours."

Len Webster not only did a fantastic job with he prequel 'What We'll Leave Behind', but continued that amazing-ness even in this novel.

'What You Left Behind' hit every mark in the feels department and it was heartbreaking, heartwarming and heart melting all at the same time. I loved the way Len wrote this novel and the way she penned down every emotion between Stevie, Julian, and even Charles.

Julian was amazing as always, and it was also really great to see Stevie and her emotions. The girl went through so much of hurt and heartache and yet at the end, her heart came back to where it all began.

'What she did caused wanderlust within him. Like she had all those years ago,'

Once again, I'm still kind-off reeling from the after effects of this novel, so my words can never do justice to it. But all I can say is that Len pulled off this story so beautifully and gave an end that was perfect and was completely deserving of Julian and Stevie.

So glad I finally read this book! Julian was amazing. I loved how determined he was. I also enjoyed seeing more of his fun sense of humour; he was quite the jokester with his friends. He was sincere and sweet and charming and completely loveable. Totally swoon-worthy!

Stevie was a mess for most of this book and it was devastating to learn about all she went through in the years in between. I could understand her reluctance in attempting a relationship but at the same time I just wished for her happiness.

I was so invested with these characters; the writing swept me away and into their lives. I feel like I know them personally. I'm so glad Julian didn't give up, no matter how hard Stevie pushed him away. Well, that was until a certain point where he shocked me and broke my heart! I wanted to strangle him! He made me so angry and he made me cry! This book definitely gave me all the feels.

Will these two get their happy ending? You REALLY need to read this book to find out! Trust me, I loved it!

Be still, my beating heart! Loved, loved this book!!! I didn’t realize that there was a prequel to it, What We’ll Leave Behind, but I was able to pick the story up right where they left off without reading it. It’s a second chance story for Stevie & Julian who had a week of holiday four years ago. Fate brings them back together after Julian has been searching for his “Stephanie” aka Stevie for the last four years. Stevie is confused, hurt & doesn’t think that she is good enough or deserves anyone with her past. Julian is in love with Stephanie & his nickname for her is Blondie and it just makes your heart melt in a puddle. Julian is determined to win her heart again because Stevie has always had his since he saw her 4 years ago. He is genuine, loving, funny & definitely a jokester. You can’t help but love him. Their friends & family are supportive but they all have secrets too. All the characters are amazing & I did not want their story to end. So glad the author has books on them too. Looking forward to reading them all! -read by RazzReader with Pop Fizz Clink Read

No amount of white sand or distance could bury their past. Some things were just never meant to be forgotten.

You may know her as Stevie Appleton from Thirty-Eight Days but one person knows her simply as Stephanie.

When Julian Moors returned from Thailand he left all his belongings, his father and his only brother behind in Melbourne and moved to Sydney. One girl shattered his world and left him with more questions than answers.

Everyone has a story but not everyone has a past quite like Stevie and Julian.

When they meet years later, don't expect a happy ending. The past holds skeletons and not even these skeletons can be buried.

True to her style the author delivers yet another masterpiece. The depth of the characters, the emotional conflict and the sheer beauty of the story left me speechless. This book can be read as a standalone even though reading the previous series will add more depth to the characters.
What You Left Behind isn't just another contemporary romance with a happy ending. It's an emotional rollercoaster with ups and downs that leave you thinking, with characters that make you wish they were real (that one's for you Julian Moors!), it's a book with soul.
