I’m scared.

When will this nightmare end?
Darkness and cold has tortured me.
I can’t remember anything.

He’s coming.
His footsteps echo like a wrecking ball in my head.

He’s getting closer.
Breathe.

He’s almost here.
I must escape.

He’s here.
Breath tickles my face.

With what little strength I have, I find my way to the sunlight.

Tortured moans become more distant.
Run faster.

I drop with exhaustion.
Did I make it far enough?

I’m being lifted.
Warmth engulfs me.

Please let this be my savior and not my captor.

Amnesia is a stand alone novel.

This is a very fast paced read. I finished it in basically one sitting. I thought the mystery/suspense aspect of this story was great and I found myself so completely invested in finding out who was behind Mallory's kidnapping. But I have to be honest. I think I would have liked this one more without the romance. I felt the relationship between Liam and Mallory was too insta lovey for this type of read.

Great book!! Mallory had to try and figure out what happened to her and who she is. Liam is trying to work out who this stranger is and where she came from...and what is her link to his past? Good mixture of romance and suspense.

A page turner, beautifully written, a mystery to solve, and a love story all wrapped up in Ellie Grace’s latest.

A quick read, with my attention never wavering. The twists and turns and who to trust, but throughout the story, Mallory knew she could trust Liam. Will he help her remember?

A stand alone, but I hope that Kelly Elliott writing as Ellie Grace explores this story and these characters further.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

I absolutely loved Amnesia by Kelly Elliott written as Ellie Grace. Amnesia is a wonderful romantic suspense love story, it filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, and it was impossible to put it down. I loved every moment on every page. I can honestly say that Amnesia is one of the most enjoyable books that I have read recently. Kelly Elliott continues to be one of my favorite authors to read. She definitely did not disappoint her readers with all the feels in Amnesia and has delivered an amazing story filled with everything that I have come to love about her books. I am not sure how she does it, but Kelly Elliott has given her readers a remarkable book. Amnesia is filled with all the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and plot twists that I have come to love and expect in her love stories, I especially loved the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. She is an incredible storyteller. I love that Amnesia is written in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. Amnesia is a closed-door romantic suspense love story. Amnesia is the story of Mallory Wilson and Liam Sanders, owner and operator of a cattle ranch in Grass Range, Montana. While returning home during a storm, Liam discovers Mallory unconscious in a field on his ranch. Liam takes care of Mallory and discovers that she has amnesia and does not remember anything that happened to her. She remembers being held captive and that she hit her captor in the head with a brick that she loosened from the room where she was being held and escaping. She ran through woods for what seemed like two days. She remembers her captive calling her Mallory, but that is all she remembers about the entire experience. The only thing that Mallory remembers is the laugh of her captor. To Liam’s surprise, Mallory is wearing a locket that belonged to his fiancée, Emily, who disappeared six years ago. Mallory informed Liam that she found the locket in the room where she was being held. Liam reaches out to his cousin Randy for help finding out what happened to Mallory, who is behind it, and who she really is. Mallory wonders if she has a family who is missing her. As Mallory and Liam begin spending time together things change between them. Conversation between Mallory and Liam flows so easily. I love that Kelly Elliott kept me guessing as to who was behind everything that happened to Mallory. Randy is able to determine Mallory’s real identity through her fingerprints. Mallory learns that she is from Illinois and that her last living relative, her grandmother died prior to her getting kidnapped. Randy keeps hitting dead ends in his investigation as to how Mallory gets to Montana. Slowly Mallory starts regaining her memory until she remembers everything. An unexpected plot twist reveals everything, especially what happened to Emily. I love all the heart-to-heart conversations that happen in Amnesia. I love that even though neither Mallory nor Liam were looking for love, they ended up falling in love with one another. Amnesia was an amazing love story, and that Mallory and Liam got the happily ever after that neither one realized they were looking for. I loved all the surprises that filled the pages of this love story. I love the changes that Mallory makes in her life to have a future in Grass Range. I love the changes that Liam makes in his life, to have a life with Mallory. My favorite part is the ending and how it goes above and beyond the happily ever after. I especially loved Liam’s proposal, and the significance of his engagement ring. I also loved the epilogue that takes place two years later and is told from Liam’s perspective, it is the perfect ending to their love story. I love the surprise revealed. Kelly Elliott has once again provided her readers with the amazing characters that I have come to love and expect in her books, they feel like family! Who does not love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, loving families, and caring friends, who always support each other? She continues to deliver all that and so much more. I love how she always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. Kelly Elliott continues to deliver incredibly written love stories that I LOVE reading and is one of my favorite authors to read. I enjoy all the interactions among all the quilting group women and Liam’s friends, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I love that Liam reunited with his brother, Chad. I love the descriptions of Grass Range and the surrounding areas. Amnesia is an incredibly written romantic suspense love story, that had me guessing to the end, and I loved every moment. Cannot wait to read other books by Kelly Elliott written as Ellie Grace. Highly recommend this beautifully written story. I received an advanced copy from the author.

it’s more like 3.75 ⭐️

Mallory is kidnapped and two days later she is found by Liam, exhausted and beaten on the side of a road.
Who is she? How did she get there? Why?

Then you’ll have all the book to find out.

It is a fast pace. Once you’re in, you’re captivated. I read it in 6h. I wanted to know 🫣

Trope:
Small town romance.
Suspens.
He falls first and hard.
Spice level 🌶️/5

I am more of a slow pace kind of girl and yet I enjoyed this story. In my opinion it is a good book for a relaxing day. The story goes with the flow, the tension is not high but the plot is interesting.
I was privileged to receive Ellie Grace’s book as an ARC and I give my honest review ☺️

Amenisa is all you are looking for in a romantic suspense. It definitely delivered . When Mallory gets taken her life is literally torn upside down. When she escapes she literally can’t remember anything from her life. Then comes her knight shining armor Liam. He takes her in and welcomes her to his home. There are things from his past that come to light when he saved Mallory. He finally gets the answers he has been searching for. When Mallory and Liam get closer the bond between is absolutely remarkable. You see a lot in this story from pain, sadness, forgiveness, and love. This story had me in tear at times and you feel every emotion. Ellie did such an amazing job with this incredible story.

Arc provided for honest review.

At first I I was skeptical about the premise of this book but it got interesting really quickly and really sucked me into the story! Mallory goes through a majorly traumatic experience and luckily she ends up finding Liam. This book did keep me guessing almost the entire time. I am hesitant to say too much in this review or I’ll give something away! If you like romance, cowboys, suspense, and an all around great read then pick this one up!

I was very lucky to get an advance copy of the newest Kelly Elliott, writing as Ellie Grace, novel and it didn’t disappoint.
It was fast paced, an addicting story line and the same small town feel of the author’s signature style. I’m a sucker for a small tight knit rancher family and this had it all with a great suspense page turner!

A book with an (almost) insta-love, but that left me thinking: if Liam had low to no contact with his brother, why was it so easy for him to believe he was involved? And Mallory was quick to trust a man she had never seen before, totally amnesic, but knowing she was running from something.
All in all, an enjoyable reading.

This book has all the elements needed for romantic suspense!

Liam finds Mallory passed out on his ranch after escaping her kidnapper.
I really like the connections Mallory made with the other women. The sweet love story that developed between the two was gradual after the initial insta attraction.

The story flowed well, and there were enough suspects to keep readers guessing until the end!

Good

This was a good book for the alias Ellie Grace. For her second book stepping into new genres, Amnesia was a good introduction to romantic suspense. As a die-hard suspense reader I usually like a bit more darkness. I like my villains to be inconspicuous and unassuming. Unfortunately, I had the bad guy picked out pretty early in this book! Overall I enjoyed it!

'A slow-burn, heart-thumping, romantic suspense that you won't forget any time soon. Ellie, aka 'Kelly', ups her closed-door romance game with this thrilling tale of being lost, found and finding a new life' - The British Bibliophile

Thank you to Ellie 'aka, Kelly Elliott' for sending me an ebook Advanced Reader Copy for me to read and leave and honest review, as part of her ARC team

NOTE - This review will be spoiler-free as standard for my reviews, but will contain references to the contents of the book's blurb. If you wish to go into this read blind without knowing a single thing about it, please exit my review now :)

Amnesia is the second standalone novel written by Ellie Grace, aka 'Kelly Elliott', writing under this name for her series of closed-door romance novels. Same content we love from those who know her as Kelly, focusing more on the story and not what happens between the sheets of a bed. In essence, honing on the core romance of the story.

A reminder for those both familiar and not with Kelly, novels such as these as previously mentioned, were going to be written strictly as 'closed-door' romances. What that means, is that all of the intimate scenes we would usually see on the page in a scene, now take place not on the page. It may be mentioned about in passing or summarised at some point in the following chapter, but we won't see the action itself. For some, closed-door romances are off the table, going only for books full of spice only. If this is your preference, that is fine. However, I urge any reader to give closed-door romances like this and Ellie's previous book, Saved by Love a chance. As a reader myself who didn't go for them as a rule, I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed that kind of story. I'm fully convinced it's because it's Ellie who is writing them, so I hope you take the chance to discover why sometimes stepping away from steam can be just as good as immersing yourself in it.

When we got the cover + blurb reveal for Amnesia , I was automatically sold. One, because it's Kelly but two? I LOVE a good amnesia romance novel! I don't get to read them half as much as I would like to, so when Ellie offered this up as her next standalone read? I knew that I was going to both savour and enjoy it. Ellie's books--when written as Kelly--are always ones that can be consumed in no time at all. They're deliciously addictive to the point where when you begin, you don't stop until you're at the end and every word has been read. That said, I was determined to make my time with this next standalone last as long as I could, and six days were well-spent with this instalment.

Mallory is living in a continuous nightmare, praying that some moment soon it will end so she can have peace. Accompanying her nightmare are both the darkness, cold and of course, amnesia. She cannot remember a single thing. All that she does know, is that he is coming. His footsteps precede him and echo to her like a ball inside her head as he gets closer and closer. Keeping her breathing under control, she knows there's only one thing she must do. Escape. It's the only way to save her from the stagnant breath of his that breaths on her face.

With the little, lingering strength that she has, she seizes the opportunity and flees for the sunlight that she has been withheld from since her capture. She leaves behind her the tortured moans of the one with the foul breath, running faster and faster as the distance between them grows bigger. Soon, she finds herself dropping with exhaustion after so long on the run. How long? She doesn't know. She only prays that however far that she has managed to get is enough to ensure her safety.

Sanctuary finds its way to Mallory in the form of two, warm arms that lift her from the frozen ground where she fell. At least, that's what she hopes. These arms could well be those of her captor and not a saviour.

As a reader who loves a good romantic suspense, I couldn't have been happier to have read a book that contained not only that but with it teamed with one of my favourite tropes. Amnesia. The trope isn't always synonymous with the genre, as it can be its own micro-trope and passing element within a romantic comedy or a book of another genre type, but when its done just right? An amazingly unique story is born. This is exactly what happened here. Again, I usually see mafia romance or dark suspense follow the amnesia theme, but Ellie takes it in the small-town, cowboy direction and I'm pleased to announce that I thought it worked out well! There was a dash of insta-love thrown in there, though I wouldn't say it was a major trope defining the book on the whole. Other micro-tropes do make themselves known, but I'll leave you to discover what they are when you sit down with this book and get to know both Mallory and our leading man, Liam, as well as other residents and supporting character that make this story such a fantastic one. There are a few scene-stealing supporting characters here, and I'm living for it!

Although I'm not a solid fan of closed-door romances, with every read that Ellie writes and releases, I'm warming up to and enjoying them more and more. They're a brilliant breather from the heavy, dark, intense reads that are dominating the book world right now, and I know I'm always in safe hands regardless of where the story goes, when its Ellie/Kelly who is at the helm. I thoroughly enjoyed her debut as Ellie Grace with Saved by Love but out of the two? I can confirm that Amnesia is my personal favourite. It resonated with me more with my reading tastes, and for me it shows her growth and stability both in writing books like these under her new pen name. Chefs kiss!

If this is the beginning of what Kelly can do writing as Ellie? It's safe to say that I'm in this for the long-haul and very much looking forward to all the titles, stories and characters that have yet to flow forth from her fingertips.

Ellie, you've more than earned yourself your second five star in a row from a very happy, very satisfied reader.

Mallory is looking forward to making something of her life. She's left her small town to move to Chicago in hopes of making big or at least something of a name for herself.
Even if that meant giving multiple interviews and yet to see success.

I felt for the girl who was struggling and yet smiling and making plans to move forward no matter... When... Out of nowhere... Bam.... All's changed and gone.

Liam Sanders runs his own ranch and is quite wealthy for the massive amount of land he owns and even though he has multiple hands helping him, some of them being his friends, he treats them like family.

But there's unresolved trauma of the past that Liam still carries around and yet he doesn't let that hamper his life.

When on one fine night, returning from his friend's place, a decision to take a different route, Liam stumbles upon a stranger who's in bad shape.

Liam was such a sweetheart right from the start for the way he treated Mallory, supporting her and especially emotionally for a girl who has nowhere to go and really is still downright scared to even interact with people after what happened.

Initially I was seriously doubting each and every person that we were introduced to because it's obvious from where Liam finds Mallory that the person has to be someone close by or staying nearby.

What further complicates things and makes the mystery increase is when Liam finds something on Mallory that's straight connected to his very own past.

Now Liam has to rope in help, although secretly as nobody can be trusted and yet do his best to keep Mallory safe from the unknown danger.

All of Liam's friends were amazing for the way they come together inspite of all the suspicions surrounding everyone.

Suspense coupled with sweet romance, a hero with a heart of gold and a woman who finds solace and a place to call her her own when her past was especially empty. I really connected with the characters and especially loved Liam Sanders. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Give me Books Pr for a chance to read this book in advance for my honest review. This book deals with the potential of human trafficking, kidnapping, abuse, almost sexual assault, murder.

Anyways, we get a small introductory to Mallory who moved to Chicago from her small town in Arcola. since her Grandmother passed she seized the opportunity to start a new in a new town. Not having much friends now, the friend she did had sort of ended due to lack of communication. Alone she didn’t realize she was in harms way.

Liam is on his family ranch and about to head home due to a storm is about to set forth. So he just wants to make sure everything looks secured as he is riding home he spots something on the ground be the lake as he rides up he sees a body in tattered clothing and looks worse for wear. Has he approach’s she is clinging for life. He gets her to his home and gets her dry. The next mid day she wakes in a warm fluffy bed in clothes that at not hers. Did she escape? As Liam wakes he tells her who he is and how he found her. He asks her where she is from? But she doesn’t remember who she is. Not to push things he allows her to settle. But Liam notices something on Mallory that makes him want answers from her. His missing fiancé Kate necklace she is wearing, why, how? Where is Kate? Anyways, Mallory and Liam form a bond trying to get her memory back. Liam knows she was trapped in a cellar somewhere within his small town or nearby. But, she doesn’t want to go to the authories since her captor mention he knows people in the police. But Liam knows that he needs help, so he goes to his cousin that he knows is a good cop/ person. There they carefully set off to help Mallory. But doing so leads her back to her captors unwillingly. Wil, they get to the truth in time?

I wanted to love this book, but I kept thinking there is no way certain things could happen so quickly between Mallory and Liam. How can she walk on feet slashed by debris? Also, this sort of reminded me of Kiss the Girls, well the running in the wilderness in the country but then finding kind people to help

Amnesia by Ellie Grace ( aka Kelly Elliott) is a standalone thriller and suspense romance between Mallory and Liam Sanders

The prologue sets the scene for the whole story as Mallory is held captive in a dark basement. She has been haunted by the kidnappers laugh for two days while he has mentally tortured her. She has been working on ways to escape and finally her plan pays off.

We then go back a week and find out where she was, what had happened in her life and how she was following her dreams, when an incident one evening changes her life forever.

Liam owns a cattle ranch in Montana. After a storm he is shocked to find a woman collapsed in one of the fields. He is surprised by his reaction to her and why he is suddenly feeling very protective over her and wants to care for her. She obviously been beaten and he worried what else has happened to her.

She’d been running for two days and was exhausted after running for her life so when he finds her she is concerned if he is her saviour or her captor?

Two days later she awakes and the romance begins . She has amnesia and only knows her name is Mallory. She has nightmares but he makes her feel safe even though she has news which devastates him. His world is also turned upside down with the revelations about the trauma she went through.

Can she trust anyone to tell them her story?
Can’t involve the police so what are they to do ? What is he going to do about the monster who obviously still around. Is she safe and what about the other women connected to the ranch.

Liam begins to suspect everyone. She’s so scared especially when her feelings grow for Liam and is worried she has bought danger to her new found family and friends.

I really liked his best friends and how supportive they all were once they find out about Mallory. I loved her conversations with his dog Piper.

Will they find out who she is, where she is from and who took her? I never guessed who it was and loved how their romance developed. Liam was an absolute hero and she showed such strength of character. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable read.

AMNESIA by Kelly Elliott writing as Ellie Grace is a contemporary, adult , stand alone, thriller focusing on twenty-seven year old Mallory Wilson, and rancher Liam Sanders.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspective (Liam and Mallory) AMNESIA follows in the wake of the abduction and captivity of our story line heroine. Approximately one month earlier, Mallory Wilson sold her house, and placed everything into storage, and headed to Chicago in the hopes of a new future. Several days later Mallory was living a nightmare-a captive of a madman who had plans for our story line heroine . Having escaped, and on the run, Mallory would be rescued by rancher Liam Sanders, and man whose own past may be running parallel to the horror of Mallory’s life. Without any memory of what happened or why, Mallory would struggle to remember, as the memories begin to reveal a little at a time. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Mallory and Liam, as they navigate a potential betrayal.

The world building focuses on the search for a kidnapped, a possible killer, and the connections to our story line couple. Mallory and Liam never met prior to Mallory’s rescue and recovery but their attraction is immediate.

The relationship between Mallory and Liam begins as a rescue. Mallory’s escape culminates in the building romance between our story line couple, as Liam relives the heart break from his past. There are no $ex scenes, everything is implied.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and questionable secondary and supporting characters including family, friends, law enforcement and ranch hands.

AMNESIA is a story of madness, murder, obsession and betrayal, secrets and lies, power and control. The premise is intriguing and intense; the romance is subtle and fated; the characters are desperate and animated.

𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨.

Imagine... you are Mallory, one day you wake up and you find yourself in a badly placed basement, in the dark, but above all you have no memory before that moment, not even your name. Your days are marked by the little light that filters through a crack and by the visit of the man who keeps you locked up there and who whispers to you all the horrible things he wants to do to you. Despite everything you don't give up, you look for a way to escape and in the end you make it. Run and run, without stopping, under the elements, barefoot, in a territory unknown to you... until you collapse, and there another man finds you and takes you to safety.

Welcome to this romantic suspense, where Mallory's story is dotted with memory lapses, the fear that the one who wants to harm her might find her again, but it is also made up of the rediscovery of herself... starting over, step by step. She won't be alone, because Liam - the man who found her - will help her in all the ways possible, staying next to her, giving her time and trying to support her when she needs it.

«𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒏𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒕, 𝒘𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒖𝒔.»

In this story we see the two sides of the coin: a man who wants to hurt her, abüse her, but on the other one who will support her unconditionally, and both of them did not know her before their meeting. 𝐺𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑙, 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑑𝑢𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑠𝑚 𝑜𝑓 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑒.

It was beautiful to see how she lived more and more in anxiety and in the feeling that whoever was hunting her might arrive, the more Liam helped her and the more he provided for all her needs, not out of duty, but increasingly out of pleasure.

Sometimes, something beautiful can come from bad. Sometimes, it seems that it is the arm of destiny that leads us towards something or someone we are destined for and that, otherwise, we would never have met.

Ellie's writing is flowing, which expertly alternates the tone based on what she presents before us, based on sweeter scenes or more suspenseful scenes. The pace is well balanced, everything flows smoothly and the hunger to find out what will happen is ever greater.
Basically, I highly recommend this book if you want a good dose of romance mixed with adrenaline, and if you are a fan of small-town romances.

This was my first experience reading one of this author’s books, and I was immediately intrigued by the story. My interest didn’t wane during the rest of the book as it was jam-packed with a thrilling mystery with puzzle pieces that needed to be fit together.

Liam rescued Mallory, a woman who had been kidnapped and escaped from the hellhole she’d been kept in. Unfortunately, Mallory had amnesia, so she couldn’t explain much about herself or how she’d ended up on Liam’s ranch.

Liam and Mallory were both easy-to-like characters. Most of the characters in the story were, but I will admit, I had a feeling about one particular character, but no spoilers 🤐, who I instantly didn’t have a good feeling about and pegged him as my suspect. 🤣 (I was right!)

This story was fast-paced, and I enjoyed the twists and turns. I found it a relaxing read where the romance went hand in hand with the suspense, and it didn’t take over. I look forward to reading more from this author.

*5 stars* *Sometimes remembering is worse than forgetting*
Sometimes you come across a book that just captivates you from beginning until end and this story just got me enthralled from beginning until end as I was sitting on the edge of my seat. There were so many moments I gasped for air and hoping to have that happy ending I so desperately wanted for the lead characters. I could definitely relate to something in the story that resonated with me that sometimes remembering is worse than forgetting as I've been through something traumatic that I definitely wished I wouldn't remember so I could definitely relate to why and how Mallory felt at times. That makes you connect to a story even more. It was a suspenseful read yet there were a lot of hopeful romantic moments that brightened the mood a bit. Loved it and a favorite of 2024 for me!

Mallory has been through a horrific event and when Liam finds her at his ranch, there's something about her that makes him very protective of her. I had been excited to read this book as another of my top themes/tropes in books is the amnesia storyline and when I saw that Kelly Elliott whom I had enjoyed some of her other books had started up a romantic suspense line under the pen name Ellie Grace, I knew I wanted to read it and requested it from Give Me Books Promotions. As I expected, this book was a great read as we first meet Mallory who sadly is your perfect victim as she has no family and no friends, so no one to know she is missing as such as she had also been staying and was about to leave the motel. On her last night at the motel, she is kidnapped from the room and taken to a basement where she finds in the dirt a locket and one night, manages to escape. She runs for her life and eventually after a couple of days is found on Liam's ranch by Liam when is out on a horse ride. Liam brings her back to the ranch and starts to care for her, we also learn that Liam's fiancee Emily disappeared without a trace six years ago and that the locket that Mallory has belongs to Emily. I did love this connection between the two females as it helped cement the story and gave Liam and his friends/family more motivation to help Mallory discover the truth of who kidnapped her and why. Of course, the amnesia storyline is strong throughout the book as Mallory can only remember her name and nothing else. If you love thrillers and sexy cowboys, then Amnesia by Ellie Grace is the read for you and I am now looking forward to seeing what else Kelly Elliott brings out in the future as Ellie Grace.

I literally forgot that I signed up for this story. Imagine my surprise when I got an email saying that I was chosen to receive an arc. I was so freaking excited because I've been reading fantasy and romance, and I just miss the feeling of adrenaline, so thank you to Kelly Elliot and Grey's promotion for this opportunity.

I devoured this book in two days. Two freaking days!
It's so freaking good.

I never thought that I would become a fan of reading a crime or thriller with a touch of romance. I don't know what you call this genre, but I'm a fan.

The suspense of this story had me gripping my kindle so hard. My ass was barely hanging on the couch whenever Mallory remembered what happened to her. The twists and turns just had me saying "WTF" over and over again.

Liam and Mallory's chemistry is so beautiful and so genuine that it made me blush a lot of times.
How Liam and Mallory met is so unusual and bizarre to me, but at the same time, it feels like fate. These two were there at the perfect time. I felt so relieved when they met for the first time because, after reading that prologue, I just wanted to crawl inside the book and save Mallory myself.
Mallory is the strongest girl that I've ever met. So brave and plucky.
Liam, well, this man is the dream. So perfect, gentle, and patient.

Overall, this book is fast-paced. Just the way I like it. Hard to put down. Suspenful as hell and totally swoon-worthy.
Everything in this book is just 100% perfection.

Amnesia is the perfect suspense romance for the summer. It's full of intrigue, unsolved mystery, plot twist and a rollercoaster of events that are keeping you on your toes. Needless to say that I read it for a day till the wee hours. Amnesia is practically unputdownable with the ongoing suspense and that sweet romance between Malory and Liam . Malory escaped her captor after a few days of being kidnapped and run for her life. And that's how Liam found her - barely conscious and with no memory for her past and how she got there. And that little plot twist that connects Malory with a disappearance from six years ago. Malory and Liam are both wonderful characters. Loved it how they both stayed positive after all the hard life experiences that they have . Liam even got to repair the strained relationship with his brother. His overprotectiveness of Malory was so sweet. And that instant connection and attraction between Liam and Malory was so good. He helped Malory to grow stronger and gain her trust back . Fighting to get her memories back Malory is growing fast as a character and is slowly building her new self. Loved it how both Liam and Malory relayed on their gut feeling who to trust and what to do next. All the side characters helped them grow and accept the constant changes around them. The slowly growing romantic feelings between Malory and Liam sweetened the suspense and released some of the tension. Again I played my guessing game ''who did it " and almost slipped on the decoy suspect but I guess it right. At the end all ended well , justice was served and Liam and Malory got their happily ever after.

Thanks to the author and Grey's Promotions for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.

~~top 10 recommended~~

Two words, Holy Beejesus never saw this coming from Kelly Elliott writing as Ellie Grace. Talk about suspense, action and many questions to be asked it was mind blowing. Right away we see a young woman, no memory, no name and well not sure what to do with herself. Then we have a rancher all the way still haunted by the disappearance of his fiancee. Two people yet so much in common it is mindboggling how Ellie Grace makes sense in this whole book. Right away my heart broke for Mallory and what she is going through. The only thing she has going on is just her name and nothing else. No idea who the monster is just the sound of his laugh was and still in my mind but for this poor girl just wow. Then we have Liam doing everything he can to be there for her but struggling with what is uncovered with his Mallory there's no words to describe it. This is definitely a style that is becoming a favorite by Kelly Elliott and seeing Ellie Grace come up with this story is just truly suspenseful. We have romance, friendship but most of all a woman doing the bravest thing she can do right now, remember. Totally rocked this book so highly recommended a story that will stay with you once it's done making you want to read it again, loved it.

Romantic suspense is often a genre that leaves me feeling disappointed in either the lack of romance or neglect to make the story suspenseful. Let me tell you — this one does NOT disappoint in any fashion! From the very start, I was riveted to my seat, needing to finish it in one sitting.

When we meet Mallory, she is trying to piece together every part of herself and her life. She has amnesia and very little to go on. She has to rely on others and her gut to guide her as her brain simply cut off its ability to help. Protection mode, as I call it. Wondering how and why she was kidnapped and how she ended up on Liam’s ranch, the answers don’t come easy.

Liam owns a ranch and lost his fiancée a few years prior to – and he’s still holding onto pain, guilt, and all the other emotions that go along with someone disappearing without answers. And when he finds Mallory on the ground of his ranch after a storm, his life takes a twist that he never saw coming.

Together, these two work to uncover her hidden memories and find themselves quickly falling for the other. It’s hard to know who to trust and although I felt like I had the culprit figured out, I was thrown for a loop, circling down the path to connect everything I knew to directly-link the person behind it all. Without being overly dark, I felt that bit of tightness in my chest, the one a little scared, yet needing to know why, how, and who!

Gripping Romantic Suspense
When Mallory Wilson’s grandmother dies, she decides to follow her dreams of leaving Arcola, Illinois to make something of herself in the big city of Chicago only to be kidnaped and waking up locked in a basement not remembering anything about herself. She is able to escape after hitting the monster over the head with a brick. She knows she needs to run as fast and far away from her kidnapper as possible. She is so grateful to Liam Sanders when he finds her on his ranch in Montana as she is not sure how much longer she could have kept running through creeks and forest with no shoes. If someone else had found her who knows what could have happened. She is so scared the kidnapper will finder her again, but Liam makes her feel safe. He promises he will not let anything happen to her. Who can they trust though? The kidnapper said he knew everyone including the police. Wow, this is a well written contemporary romantic suspense novel with relatable characters and so much emotion. It includes heartbreak, kidnaping, murder, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and mystery. I was guessing till the end with all the twists and introduction of so many questionnaire secondary characters. Definitely a must read.
I voluntarily read an early copy of this book.

Pourquoi personne n’a lancé d’alerte enlevement?

Read. First novel by Ellie Grace (Kelly Elliott).

Trigger warning of violence, kidnapping, sexuall assault and sex trafficking.

Mallory Wilson was kidnapped from Chicago and ending up in Montana. With no memory of what happened to her, her attempt to undercover what lead to her amnesia brings us to discover her connection to other women being victims of abduction and sex trafficking.

Mallory escapes and runs away from her abductor and ends up on Liam Sanders pasture. He owns acres of land and successful ranch property. Liam finds Mallory collapsed on his pasture.

Liam takes Mallory into his home and cares for her when she tells him about what happened and she has amnesia and can’t remember her previous life and how she ended up in Montana. Liam asks why she was wearing a necklace that belonged to his late fiancé Emily who was never found 10 years ago. What leads to Liam being suspicious of Mallory being connected to Emily is a twist that unravels the truth of who the the abductors were and who you need to be careful to trust.

Great plot but I found this book to be very fast paced and feel like jumping into things quickly.

The romance and connection was nice between the characters. Some things were not necessary to be detailed about, not relevant certain aspects.

I enjoyed the mystery and suspense of the book

This story is absolutely riveting, full of intrigue because of the heroine's situation and involves a sweet romance. Mallory Wilson doesn't know who she can trust besides Liam Sanders, the man that rescues her. She has barely any memory of her past and only remembers what happened during her time being held captive.

Both Mallory and Liam are great characters that have been through a lot in their pasts. Liam's relationship with his family is strained but I liked how he worked through things with his family to make things better. Also, the way he's so protective of Mallory was interesting and fantastic to read. Is it because he feels guilt from the past in not being able to protect someone he loved? Or is it because he has instant feelings for Mallory the moment they meet? While Mallory, it's not easy for her to trust because of what's happened to her but I liked that she put her faith in Liam. He helps her grow stronger and learn to trust again and that's what she needs to move forward with her life.

Overall, this story was a fast read and kept my attention from start to finish. I would recommend it to fans of Kelly Elliott and fans of insta-love romances or heroine determined to hide while trying to discover what happened to her.

I wrote this review for Saucy Reviews on Kinky Korner.
