Snakes: Amazing Pictures & Fun Facts

Rate this book
In the withering heat of the Australian Desert the Fierce Snake hunts for prey. It carries in its armament less than two thousands of an ounce of venom with a potency that could kill a quarter of a million mice. Why this snake needs the animal equivalent of an ATOM BOMB in its mouth, no one really knows. But without the limbs and powers of other predators, snakes needed to find other ways to be sure they will kill.

Snakes are fascinating creatures, not only for children. Black Mamba snakes can slither an astonishing 5 meters per second (about 18 km/h) and kill a human in just 20 minutes. Anacondas can be 30 feet long (like a school bus) and weigh up to 550 pounds (like 11 kids). You and your child will find a lot more "fun-tastic" facts along with superb pictures looking great on every device (color or e-ink kindle).

This series is considered the most beautiful on Kindle (ZebraKids and Sara Davis equals quality mixed with over 10 years of experience). Children will love to learn and understand this great reptile: its origin, anatomy, feeding, habits and behavior. You will also get the amazing TOP 10 MOST VENOMOUS SNAKES in the world, that features the following snakes:

* Rattlesnake
* Death Adder
* Vipers
* Philippine Cobra
* Tiger Snake
* Black Mamba
* Taipan
* Blue Krait
* Eastern Brown Snake
* Fierce Snake / Inland Taipan

Information was solid but there were several places where typos should have been caught or extraneous words cut. It shouldn't take much to correct.
