In a heterosexual world everyone likes to believe that they treat everyone equally, that has a society they accept individuals as who they are. I think not. If we did then why do they use the word different she referring to homosexuals? Be cause they bury the true reality that in their minds they are.

Queer Empire exploits all the realities that homosexuals endure and I have to say this was probably one of the emotional novels I have ever read it gripped at my heart completely.

But it isn't just sadness you will feel when reading this tale. The flavorful characters will make you laugh.

What I enjoyed was the friendship between Cavan, a gay man and Prentis a heterosexual man. There was a deep bond and unwavering love between the two that touched my heart.

The author did a wonderful job of making me rethink and relook at life and society in general and if you read this book I promise you will feel the same way too!
