I don't have the words to fully describe how amazing this book is. The details and the world building in the book absolutely blew my mind. I loved everything about this book even though there were times that I didn't like Viv for reasons. But overall, this was a really amazing read and I definitely recommend this book. I can't wait to read more in this series.

I did not expect the ride that this book took me on. I’ll admit I thought to myself “well now what?“ at about 30%. There were these little nuggets that had me asking “wait a minute? What’s that mean?” Trust the process… they lead up to a good ending.

Kat (FMC) has had a rough life so when Viy (MMC) comes in - she finally gets some things that she’s missing in life and clings to it. She is needy but it makes sense. Viy is secretive (you’ll see why), possessive, protective, loving and has a prehensile tail. (iykyk)

Kat and Viy “happen” quickly and the spice is spicin’. But there is a well thought out plot and world building. The last 25% of the book has all the things you need to wrap up the story. I realize this isn’t giving you a lot of detail but that’s because I don’t want to spoil it.

Carnivora was wild, intense, and honestly unlike anything I’ve read before. It starts off dark and shocking, with Katherine waking up kidnapped and thrown into something way bigger than she understands. But the twist? The “devil” who saves her might be even more dangerous than the people who took her… and somehow, you can’t look away. The dynamic between Katherine and Viy is dark, twisted, and addicting. He’s powerful, terrifying, and somehow still irresistible. I really liked how the story mixed mythology, fate, and desire all into one. There were parts that were brutal, others that were emotional, and a lot that were incredibly intense. This book isn’t for the faint of heart, but if you like dark fantasy, morally grey characters, and steamy tension with real stakes Carnivora is worth the ride.

Oh my gosh, what a roller coaster of emotions. This book had the perfect balance of spice, suspense, darkness/gore. Viy and Kat are now my definition of power couple! Viy was such a well written MMC, perfect mixture of domineering and sweet (we love a MMC willing to die for his lady). Kat was an amazing FMC because like Viy having a perfect balance she was the perfect balance of bad ass but also would die for her man. Hoping to see more from this power couple 😍

I enjoyed this book, Kat and Viy end up being a great power couple.
There were times I felt Kat needed to stand in her own a little and time I hated Viy. But as the book progressed Kat came into herself and Viy’s actions made more sense.
The world building was spectacular and the plot was great.
All in all I loved it.
