In Prime Example, veteran bounty hunter Kole Anwynn is ambushed after completing a job. In an effort to defend his reputation and maintain his pride, he gives chase to his assassin. The hunt takes him to a mostly barren world deep on the Galactic Rim, where he will find unexpected allies and a danger he never could have anticipated.
In Viridian Skies, Kole and his new apprentice are settling into their partnership. A string of successful hunts calls for a reprieve, however, and Neela has an idea for the perfect vacation - a planet-wide celebration during a rare celestial event. She even found a local job to help defray expenses. Kole reluctantly agrees and finds himself in a fight for survival.
In Pirate's Nest, Kole is approached by a Hegemony Intelligence officer with a job he can't turn down. A pirate menace has been growing on the Rim, and the officer has tasked him with infiltrating the group and taking out their shadowy leader. Kole has experience mingling with the dregs of society as a bounty hunter, but even he isn't prepared for what awaits.
After more than two decades of working IT support for a nationwide bank, I decided it was finally time to start putting my imagination to the page. Creating stories and new worlds has been second nature for me since I was a kid, and I'm enjoying this chance to share those stories with others.

Lois McMaster Buiold, Zach Hughes, Jamie Mac Farlain, and the team of Miller and Lee all have something in common with Tim Rangnow: They write awesome adventure couples science fiction stories.
And maybe with one notable mention, they are the ONLY ones. You want to know what happens to the couple in this series, and by the 9th book, you're rather upset there will be no 10th
But in science fiction writing, it's best not to draw the series out past its expiration date or you end up with that flatter sequels of the Stainless Steel Rat and Retief....yuck
This is a great series, and you get to enjoy the moderate evolution of the characters. It's still adventure science fiction, so it can only do so well.
