Another Winner

If you love MC books this author always kills it for me. This is a cartel world meeting the biker world so you know it will be filled with drama and suspense. When Alicia is being forced to marry her father’s second in command and her mother is left behind in Mexico, she knows she had to run. Lucky for her Mace is nearby and steps up to help her.

This Dark Slayers MC series never gets old and Mace is another book to add to my five-star list.

I read the book more so for me to finish out the series I started a while ago. I didn’t feel as connected with these characters and I also felt this book was rushed.

Alicia had been born in the US and taken to Mexico to grow up until her father came to take her back to US now that she is 21. She learns that her father's 2nd in command of the cartel, Alejandro, has been promised her hand. For the next 3 months, she is with her father and his troops until they arrive at Griffinsford,CA. Mace is Native American-Scottish and a prospect to the Dark Slayers MC. He and his mixed wolf-canine,Nine, had come to the area to search for burial sites of his tribe; his tribe is trying to prove that they lived in the area for Recognition. When he hears raised voices, he goes to see what happening is a large guy mishandling a young woman and then another guy threatening to rape her. Mace rescues her and take her back to the MC cabin; but they have to relocate within days to an underground bunker that the MC took possession of several years ago. He calls Storm,Prez of the MC for help. As Mace and Alicia spend more time; feelings seem to be developing. She is feeling safer with him. Mace is not trying to rush her; but he is attracted to her in many ways. Is there a possibility of something more between them? What do Mace and Alicia discover when they return to search for the burial sites? Trust issues come out between the MC and Alicia over her working with the US Marshalls. How will they rescue her mother who is in her father's hands? How do they stop her father from hunting for her?

Will keep you on your toes on what will happen next!.

This is the 22nd book in the Dark Slayers MC series featuring Mace and Alicia's sweet and exciting MC romance full of danger, suspense, and thrills. Alicia's father is a cartel boss and he's arranged for her to marry his brutal enforcer Alejandro who makes Alicia's skin crawl. However Alejandro tells her "you are spoken for" like all she happens to be is property that she has no value. Alicia isn't going to just roll over she has an escape plan even if running from the cartel is risking everything. While Alicia is fleeing through the woods in her desperate bid for freedom she slams into a massive wall of leather and muscle. She's run into the deadliest biker alive and now Alicia is in Mace's dark and dangerous hands,this unlikely savior could be her only way out. Alicia has to gamble and take a huge risk on Mace who could just end up being her destiny. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this sweet and exciting MC romance full of danger, suspense and thrills to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

This book was a snooze fest.

Boring characters and boring story line. The book also felt super rushed.

I have enjoyed most of the books in this series but maybe it’s had its time and needs to end. I feel like this book was thrown together more to satisfy Maces story than to further the series.

The heroine was boring AF. Zero character development and of course the oopsie baby two seconds after meeting. Oh and of course she’s a virgin 🙄.

The hero is the only reason why I’ve given it two stars. He seemed okay albeit a little less boring than the heroine.

The spice, what minimal there was, was sub par at best. It was almost like the author herself was bored with this book when writing it.

I’ll give the next one a shot but honestly if it’s anything like this I’ll be hanging up the series boots and moving on.

On a side note, it grates me that the cover model is some guy but the MMC is Native American with long hair. Ole mate on the cover is not the same person.

Mace is off at the MC cabin in the woods on a mission for his tribe, to find some ancient grounds. He comes across Alicia who is trying get away from a man. The Slayers are all about helping women, so there is no way he would not help her. Alicia's father is with the cartel, all about money and power. He was planning to marry her off to his second in command, she was not down for that. Her and her mother had a plan but she will need to keep that information to herself.

Mace knows she is the one for him but is trying not to push her. He was really great with her. I just loved his mother and grandmother, they were adorable. There are secrets being kept and the drama with daddy dearest is not done. There is danger but the Slayers are up for the task. This is great addition to the series.

Mace is the twenty-second book in the Dark Slayers MC romance series which has continued to have me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. Author Aria Ray continues to show what an incredible author she is with each book that I have read by her so far. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. I LOVED getting to know the main characters and seeing their story come to life throughout the book. The chemistry between the main characters is undeniably irresistible and neither one of the main characters could no longer ignore the pull between them. This book is definitely a recommended MC romance book. I can’t wait to see what will be next from this author.

This series continues to keep me interested! Each of these Dark Slayers are dark, dangerous, but also caring and very protective of their women! When Alicia is brought to the states by her controlling father and she realizes what he is trying to do, she must escape so she doesn’t end up with his 2nd in command. Mace is out in the woods looking for ancestral graves and hears a woman screaming. Mace to the rescue.

There is so much going on with her father and what he is actually doing in the states. Will Mace and his club be able to protect Alicia and their community from a war? Mace and Alicia are drawn to each other, but will they act on their feelings? And once they are out of the bunker, will the realtio9nship continue?

Alicia and Mace’s story has them meeting when her father takes her away from her home and mother to have her marry his ruthless right hand man. Since her father is the mafia man, he is as ruthless as his right hand. So she plans her escape and runs right into Mace’s place. He is there for his own personal reasons but after seeing her changes that. Now they need to survive her father and his thugs to survive and get their hea. See old and new characters in this book with suspence, drama, love and danger.

If the author think it’s ok to drag a story out to 70% of story then the real danger starts, and the bad guys attack and all of a sudden it just over and everyone is perfect and hunky dory! Then bamm it’s all over and book is over with a pregger or wedding or both ..
then I don’t feel too bad in rushing through the series

2S2L gurl in danger meets hunky biker. She lies and doesn’t know what’s good for her, or how to tell the truth till it’s nearly too late or worse .. try to protect the big bad bikers yourself. Since your a tiny weakling and doing it all on your own sounds like the right thing to do….right?

A Biker Read with a Cartel Mix

Mace was there at the time she most needed him, he was in the area for his own reasons but saving Alicia soon became his first priority.

You won’t want to miss out on meeting Nine as he brings fun, laughter and love into the mix.

Another great read in this series, with much loved characters and some new characters in this entertaining action packed read with some twists along the way which will keep you engrossed until the end.

Forced to leave her home and mother behind to go with her father Alicia plotted her escape. She didn't know that she would find help by a rugged man and his wolf dog. When Mace heard a woman's cry e went to investigate and when he saw her predicament he acted. Now they find themselves together hiding from her father and his men. This action-packed MC story had me all caught up in the drama from start to finish and connecting with Mace and Alicia as they charted their path to happiness.

Ms. Ray has given us another great story! Mace and Alicia’s story is full of excitement, thrills, sexiness overload and just pure sweetness. We also get to visit with the Dark Slayers crew and some of their significant others…oh and Dusty too! Can’t forget her…she’s a pistol. Hope she gets her own book someday, can’t wait to see if Celt has a heart attack when she finds her one! Great read, can’t wait for the next book in this amazing series!.

Mace is out trying to find a ancestral grave site when he hear a scream what he finds makes him to help the woman. Alicia has been brought back to the states by her cartel father. He plains to give her to his second in command but she wants nothing to do with it. After they get away and hide out in a secret bunker mace gets hurt checking things out because his club brother where coming to help but are late. But once they get back to the clubhouse other things happen. So enjoy another good read and see how things work out!!

The DSMC pulled me in again. I don’t think I will ever get tired of this well written series. Mace has come to the woods for a special reason but after he rescues a beautiful woman on the run-his mission is now her. Full of suspense, tension, wonderful cameos, MC brotherhood, passion, danger and a forever. Cannot wait for the next installment!

Finding More

Alicia is put into an unwanted situation. Mace is looking for proof important to his tribe when he comes across an emotional woman. Rescued and in need of help, Alicia and Mace head for those he can trust. This was an exciting story with danger and suspense at every turn. These two were great together, and their chemistry was heated. I could not put it down.

Alicia and Mace's story is cartel vs. MC. Alicia is a pawn to be bartered and married off to his enforcer. On the run from his plans, she runs right into the arms of Mace. As the cartel has set up shop in MC territory, it is also concerning to the Dark Slayers. This is a fast paced story with plenty of action to keep your interest.
