When we left off ... all parties had declared... you're my person! However, Cameron also admitted his fear of turning into his father. Will that fear prevent him from moving forward with Turquoise? Does Turquoise really believe Cameron is her person? Or was the thought of losing him to Iesha too much?
Let's not forget Iesha, who believes she and Cameron are simply on a timeout. And Jabril has a point to prove after Cameron handed him his ass.
As for Adonis and Regina. Who was shot? Adonis told Regina to 'play dead', but are they playing, or did Miranda successfully eliminate her presumed competition? If not, will all the drama cause Regina to lose hope in happily ever after? Or will Adonis bow out to keep her safe?
This was a really good series. Each person had their own perception of love or what love is. I loved the main characters were relatable. Hard working individuals looking to be successful. Each person experienced hurt in some type of way. Cam his parents, his fathers abuse. Adonis lost his entire family within a short period of time. Blue had trust issues due to her fathers infidelity. Riri high school sweetheart broke her heart while she was in college. At the end of the day, “Perception is not reality, change your view and change your reality.
After reading both books, it got me to thinking about an incident that happened in this story that mirrored exactly an incident in my childhood and this story was right on time.
Most importantly, this story of different types of perceptions was well received and a great lesson to perceive.
