This is Book 3 in The Magnolia Ridge series by Logan Chance .
Shepard and Felicity are next door neighbors getting off on the wrong track , watching these two react is not only comical but we get scorching chemistry thrown in the mix.
As you can see in the blurb this story has you on your toes and glued to the pages, Shepard we all see as the grouchy neighbor but when a certain determined strong willed feisty Felicity confronts him…. All Bets Are Off.
I love the Atwood family ,they have a closeness unlike any other when they get together the entertainment the laughing and the love is unmatched. There’s such a push and pull between Shep and Felicity with major miscommunication they had me wanting to scream at them at times to just speak up already.
All in all this definitely is one of my favorite reads this year I highly recommend grabbing this because this grumpy dreamy Atwood brother will surely win your heart over.
Another heartwarming phenomenal read by Logan Chance
Another 5-star read from Logan! No surprise Logan knows how to combine all the words and create another beautiful story. Just like book 1 and book 2 in the series book 3 is another one that will suck you in right from the start. OMG! Shepherd! Swooney and sexy. Felicity! Sweet and determined. A bit of drama. A bit of angst. And, a bit of not communicating makes Shepherd and Felicity's story a must-read romance. Witty banter and scorching romance hold you captive. Their story is just so well-written. Logan does it again. You can never go wrong with a story written by Logan Chance!
The latest book in the Magnolia Ridge series is the next book in the Atwood Family series. This time it’s Shepherd’s turn.
Shepherd lives next door to Felicity Lark. Felicity’s opinion is that Shepherd is a grump. Whenever she sees him, it is him sitting on his front porch with a sour look on his face.
Felicity has recently been literally left at the altar by her fiance.
Right before Christmas, Felicity looks out her window and sees her Christmas decorations are missing. She scans the area and sees that they are in Shepherd’s trash cans. That’s it, she thinks and heads over to confront Shepherd!
Sparks simmer within both Felicity and Shepherd but neither know how to handle them at first. Fast forward a week and Felicity needs a date for the company Christmas party. She invites Shepherd and the sparks do ignite.
Then Shepherd disappears. Felicity thinks he has ghosted her and then SURPRISE - - A positive pregnancy test.
The chemistry between Felicity and Shepherd is guarded, on both sides. A couple of times I was shouting at the book “just tell him / her how you feel”!
My heart broke at Felicity’s backstory, having lived through the same. Logan Chance handled this situation in such a wonderful way.
I read this book in less than 3 hours because I couldn’t put it down. It was such a funny, steamy and quick read.
Some of my favorite quotes:
“However, here she is, awakening a part of me that’s been dead for so long.” - Shephard “I’m her next-door neighbor, you see,” he pulls me closer by my upper arm and puts his arm around my waist, “and when that jerk left her at the altar I couldn’t help but try to comfort her. I went over with one of my breakup baskets and the rest is history.” - Shepherd
“I asked her to keep it quiet because I know she just left a bad relationship. I didn’t want to seem like a rebound.” - Shepherd
“My logic really makes no sense, but anything is better than admitting I want to climb Shepherd and get some much needed relief.” - Felicity
“I just want…ugh, I don’t even know. I just want the baby to be healthy. I want to make sure Felicity has everything she needs. And I want to kiss her.” I can’t believe that just came out of me.” - Shepherd
SHEPHERD for the WIN!!! Holy smokes I devoured this book! Of course Logan would provide us with another deliciously sweet, dirty talkin, panty melting Atwood brother. Shepherd did not disappoint! And the FMC is an absolute firecracker! These two are HOT and their story will have you in a chokehold!
I would like to preface this review with I am a huge Logan Chance fan. I have enjoyed most all, if not all, of his titles that I’ve read to date, including the first two books in this series, which earned 5 and 4 stars from me, respectively.
With that said, this will be a critical review, during which I will do my best to be as respectful but honest as possible.
What I liked about the book: 1. I like the new view we got of Callum, Shepherd’s older brother. Instead of being grumpy like he is with the other siblings, we get to see him be nice and even silly at times likely because he is closest in age to Shepherd.
I also liked the new view we got of Tripp. To date, Tripp has come across as a bit of a screw up, but in this book we saw Shepherd praise him for being wise beyond his years even though he doesn’t show it to anyone else.
Kinda seems like Shepherd is the one everyone can be themselves with, which I found to be an interesting and likable quality.
2. “This is what the Atwoods do. They show up for each other without a second thought.” This quote right here is why I love this family and I want to keep reading their stories.
What I wasn’t a fan of: 1. I felt like the story was a bit of an afterthought in the grand scheme of the Magnolia Ridge series. The main reasons I felt this way were because:
- I didn’t feel there was much chemistry between the MCs while the first two books in the series had very good chemistry present,
- I didn’t feel the pregnancy storyline had much depth while I was expecting it to be the focal point, and
- I didn’t feel much happened overall, other than them having a lot of sex, which also wasn’t as spicy as a lot of Chance’s other books that I’ve read.
2. The book is cut into two sections: Section 1 is when the couple hooks up. Section 2 is four months after that event when she finds out she’s pregnant, but they haven’t seen each other since that night.
I, personally, felt like Section 1 was not cohesive with the rest of the story. It felt as though the rest of the story was written and then the first couple of chapters were added on to give them an introduction to one another so they could hook up and lead into the main plotline of the story.
Another critique I had with Section 1 is it appeared they had not spoken to each other much before the story kicked off, but now they had super strong feelings for each other. I have no hate against insta-lust, but this comes back to my point earlier about me feeling they did not have chemistry, so the insta-lust was a little jarring to me.
3. I definitely read books through a feminist lens. After taking many classes on the subject, it’s hard to not analyze situations for unconscious biases that may be present, not just in books but in general life. I will not give a lesson on this, but there are a lot of biases against women that are generally accepted in society without even being thought about.
I do not know the author personally or his views on such things, but based on everything of his I’ve read, I have never gotten the feeling he is sexist (he does have strong female characters and female characters with strong traits). However, I do feel there have been inklings of unconscious biases throughout his books I’ve read, with this one having the most.
Thank you to Logan Chance for the opportunity to read a copy of this book. The thoughts and opinions expressed above are honest and my own.
It’s hard to put in words how much I loved this story without giving anything away! You can always count on Logan Chance to give you a fun and sexy story, but this one was so much more! This book grabbed me from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down.
This book will make you feel an array of emotions. I loved the banter between Shepherd and Felicity. There was never a dull moment between them. I want to say so much about them, but I won’t so you can enjoy the ride. Definitely a book worth reading. It will be your next favorite read!
This book is the third in the Magnolia Ridge series, but as like all the others can be read as a standalone. Why would you only read one though? Each book in the series lets you follow along with the whole Atwood family. I’m looking forward to the next three in the series to see how the rest of the Atwood siblings find their forever!
Sheppard is getting his story. After pining for his neighbor, who has no good finance, he gets his chance when he finds out she was left at the altar and now needs a date to her office party. One hot night during the Christmas season, a few months of him working in another state, an accidental pregnancy, and miscommunication, the love between Felicity and Shep can not be denied.
Logan delivered another 5 star romance. The Atwood family has so much love to give, I can't wait to see the remaining brothers find their happily-ever-after
Another awesome read from Logan Chance. This is Shepherd and Felicity’s story. It was a sweet read that has you wondering why can’t there be more guys like Shepherd. No disappointments just a fun read that keeps you wanting more of them. This book deserves more than five stars. Definitely can’t wait to see what Logan brings us next. I received this as an arc and I am leaving my honest review
This is Book #3 in the Magnolia Ridge Series and as with the previous books, this will have you hooked from the very first page. Shepherd may come across as a grump, yet underneath he’s really a sweet, dirty talking guy with a big heart and protective nature. Felicity is an independent, sweet woman with a feisty attitude. The chemistry between this couple was scorching!🥵 I adored this couple. This was yet another phenomenal read by Logan Chance, and I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Logan Chance truly hits the heart with Shepherd Atwood and Felicity Lark. Shepherd what was a grumpy neighbor is a cinnamon roll hottie with a huge heart, for his cute little beautiful neighbor. This story has all the feels. The humorous banter between the two of them and let's not forget the Huge amount of steam they find themselves in. Huge amount of love the Atwood family has to welcome someone to the family is beyond blessed and beautiful. My tears overflowed reading this but good tears Logan Chance amazing job! I'm just going to say this one will go down in history in my heart. Definitely grab your copy asap you'll love everything about it. Review by Krisha Bledsoe
Give me more of this couple! Felicity is left at the alter and not at all ready to deal with her grumpy neighbor. When he steals her Christmas decorations, it’s the last straw. This book is full of push and pull, managing to rile you up then pull on your heart strings with the utter sweetness. This is a full story with an hea with in the series but I recommend reading them all because they are worth it
Magnolia Ridge and the Attwoods. Felicity is annoyed with her neighbour. She's recently been left at the altar, and now the hot - but - grumpy guy next door has stolen her Christmas garden decorations. So begins this wonderful story, part of the Magnolia Ridge series. Two terrific protagonists in Felicity and Shepherd, not to mention the whole Attwood family. Humour, and steamy scenes, and some heart melting romance. Lovely.
After her ex left her at the altar, Felicity wasn't ready to move on but needed a date for her holiday party. So why not take Shepherd, the grumpy neighbor next door? One night leads to long-term consequences that Felicity doesn't want to tell Shepherd, as he ran away after their night together. What starts as just Shepherd helping wherever Felicity needs him turns into so much more after they both have conversations with those closest to them. So what happens when Shepherd goes missing and Felicity thinks the worst again?
Shepherd and Felicity get their happy ending in this standalone book in a series.
These two! If they had only talked to one another, they could have been together much longer than they were! I do wonder if some of Felicity's hesitancy comes from her father leaving when she was a baby and her mom seemingly not trusting men anymore. I love the Atwood family and how welcoming they seem to be of everyone who joins their family, either through dating/relationships or just friends who join in along the way.
Better than book 1, but not as good as book 2. The Good - Both Felicity and Shepard were all in when they found out they were expecting a baby as a result of their one night stand. The Bad - Trying to paint Shepard as a grump a-hole in the first half of the book when he truly was not one. I felt the whole "hate my neighbor" bs was contrived at best and fell very flat all the way around. The Ugly - So, so tired of miscommunication in romance books, Shepard going completely overboard protective to the point I wanted to smack him, Felicity going from pissed off to forgiving way too quick. There just wasn't a lot of plot to this one and it felt disjointed and wasn't all that interesting.
It starts off pretty much with a bang. She was left at the altar prior to the story starting, she’s had a grumpy neighbor for years and goes to confront him for stealing her Christmas decorations right out of her yard. He doesn’t even try to hide the fact he did it. First thoughts, I was like wtf? Who does that? They seem to have a history of bantering and bickering though, so maybe it wasn’t as off the wall as it seemed. She convinces him to go to a work party as her fake date, and they’re banging in the break room pretty quickly. As you do.
Then it flash forwards four months. He just disappeared the very next day after their holiday party hook up, but expected her to sit around even though he left with no contact info 🙄 He comes comes back home with the idea in his head that they can pick up where they left off, only to see the douchbag ex hanging around and assumes she’s gone back to him. So for another month, they avoid each other angrily. Until the cat gets let out of the bag that she’s pregnant with his baby and he forces his way into her life. He’s the “I’m all in” guy, she’s annoyingly “he’s made it clear he wants nothing to do with me even though he has said and shown exactly the opposite” for far too long imo.
Her pregnancy hormones were waaaay overdone to caricature proportions, going from her being righteously angry that he actually broke into her home at 3am because he noticed her kitchen light turned on and “wanted to check to make sure everything was ok” to suddenly so horny she couldn’t string to words together… all in the blink of any eye 🙄 As an OB nurse, the pregnancy dating inaccuracies were annoying, but that’s pretty typical.
The sibling relationships and texts were good. They are definitely the family everyone hopes to find themselves joining - whether intentionally or after a one night stand. Super supportive and entertaining.
This is the first book in the series that I’ve read, it can definitely be read as a stand-alone. I believe the other book were about Shepherd’s brothers, but this time it’s Shepherd and Felicity. It’s a fluffy cheesy light read. Insta everything. Lots of cheesy cliches.

Question: Put a jilted bride, a one-night stand, and a hot grumpy next door neighbor together and what do you get?
Answer: Logan Chances steamy new release Don’t Fall For Your Grumpy Neighbor.
Don’t Fall For Your Grumpy Neighbor is the third book in the Magnolia Ridge series. Each book centers around the siblings of the Atwood family. This book is the story of Sheppard Atwood and how he found iphis happily ever after with Felicity Lark. Felicity Lark has an issue with her grumpy neighbor. She has multiple pet peeves about him. But one thing she doesn’t have a problem with is he’s hot. Felicity is a strong, beautiful, and fiercely independent single woman who finds herself attracted to her grumpy neighbor Sheppard Atwood. Sheppard Atwood is gorgeous but his personality has a lot to be desired. He is one of the grumpiest people Felicity knows. I loved him. His protective demeanor is endearing and sometimes over the top. And yes, the reader will find out why he is such a grumpy neighbor and the reason will surprise you. I absolutely loved this story. The way Logan Chance mixes an enemies-to-lovers, romcom, and small town romance is pure perfection. I laughed at some of Sheppard’s antics and marveled at Felicity’s self reliant, independent, yet compassionate nature. I love this Magnolia Ridge Series but so far this is my favorite. Don’t Fall For Your Grumpy Neighbor is a standalone but I do recommend reading the books in order since the books are interconnected but it’s not a necessity to do so.

Felicity Lark lives next door to Shepherd Atwood. He’s quite the grumpy neighbor, even going so far as to steal her deer family Christmas decorations and to throw them in the trash, because they are so bright at night that he can’t sleep! She needs a date to her company Christmas party, and since her fiancé left her at the altar, she asks Shepherd to be her date. They end up having a one night stand, then Shepherd has to head out of town for a job, and doesn’t return for a few months! He also doesn’t have Felicity’s phone number, so he hasn’t communicated with her at all during that time. She’s hurt by his obvious dismissal of her, and he returns to see her ex hanging around, and figures they got back together. So he’s back to grumpy neighbor.
They do finally communicate with each other about things, and between his family and hers and their friends, they finally figure things out… This story is fun and filled with several incorrect assumptions made by both of these protagonists. There’s a lot of fun banter between siblings and friends, and the entire plot is entertaining. There’s some added tension toward the end, but even that is resolved satisfactorily.
This story is a stand-alone, but is part of a larger series featuring Shepherd’s siblings. It’s a worthwhile read!
Looking for a story full of great banter, where opposites attract and enemies become lovers? Well, look no further because Don't Fall For Your Grumpy Neighbor is the book for you. Logan Chance does it again with the third book in the Magnolia Ridge series. Right from the start I was hooked. The storyline was well-written, riveting and entertaining. We have Shepard, talk about a grouch, but something about him has you falling for him. Felicity was his sweet and sassy neighbor who had no problem putting him in his place. She needs help, he steps up and they have a memorable night of passion. The only problem is he disappears for a few months the next day, with no contact. Now he's back and about to find out a little secret that Felicity has been keeping. Here is where I fell for Shepard. He tries to show her that he will be there for everything even though she tries to push him away. She finally lets her guard down even though she might be a bit scared he is going to disappear again. The chemistry between them was amazing. At times the banter and sexual tension between them had had me smiling and laughing. Other times my heart was feeling all warm and fuzzy. Add in the Attwood family who have this closeness and are the perfect support system that we all would love to have, and you have a hit on your hands.
Talk about sparks and chemistry! Shepherd and Felicity most certainly have both. They have been neighbours for years and up until recently she was engaged. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t very aware of each other though, not that they are happy about it. A little confrontation about her Christmas decor being in his garbage leads to Shepherd agreeing to be her date to her company Christmas party. She means to show everyone that she is not a sad, bitter woman after her ex left at the alter. She doesn’t want pity, she wants their admiration and maybe even jealousy. Shepherd in a suit just may bring her both. He may be grumpy, growly and sometimes Grinch-like, but he is also brawny and gorgeous. Therein lies the trouble. Add in alcohol, loosening inhibitions and letting down their guards…. you get one very hot holiday hookup, followed by some regrets, him disappearing for months and an unexpected souvenir of the evening.
Their story is funny, flirty, sexy and hot. Shepherd’s full on protector mode is rather adorable, over-the-top and hot. How can Felicity resist him? His brothers are hilarious and exceptionally sweet as well. This unexpected situation gives Felicity and Shepherd a chance to really get to know each other, to reveal their fears and doubts and finally those feelings they have been trying to deny and hide.
This one was such a refreshing and cozy read that had me smiling and just feeling amazing throughout.
Shepherd and Felicity might be neighbours but they don't see eye to eye and have this sort of cold war kind of thing going on where they hate each other but exchange polite barbs while complaining.
The first scene itself was so hilarious and Felicity is so angry with Shep only to find him calm and cool about what he had done and their banter was freaking fun.
But never did they see that they might ever have anything between them despite the mutual attraction between them.
One christmas office party and the hottest hookup together starts the events that change everything for these two.
I was so wanting to know what happened between these two that after the hottest night together, now they are once again mutual enemies of each other.
The story is so engaging and full of heartwarming moments. As we see Shep's brothers and entire family be excited and support him and Felicity when they find out about a pleasant surprise.
I was feeling all that warmth and that wholesome feeling of togetherness and when you have that strong support of a good family backing you no matter what.
Ahh... This one was definitely full of feels and I loved hanging out with Shep and Felicity. ❤️

💌 Romantic Comedy 💌 Small Town Romance 💌 Enemies-to-Lovers 💌 Grumpy Sunshine 💌 Neighbours to Lovers 💌 Amazing brood of brothers 💌 Fun banter 💌 Heartwarming moments
The Magnolia Ridge series continues with a new addition to the Atwood Family saga, and this time, it's Shepherd's story that captivates us.
Shepherd, the next-door neighbor of Felicity Lark, is perceived as nothing short of a curmudgeon. Felicity often catches him on his porch, wearing a perpetual frown.
Recently jilted at the altar, Felicity's world takes another spin when her Christmas decorations mysteriously vanish, only to be found in Shepherd's garbage. Determined, she confronts him, sparking an unexpected tension between them.
As they navigate their simmering feelings, Felicity finds herself in need of a date for her company's Christmas party and turns to Shepherd. The evening sets off a fiery connection that neither can deny.
But then, Shepherd vanishes, leaving Felicity to believe she's been ghosted, only to be stunned by a positive pregnancy test. Their mutual defenses make their chemistry all the more intense.
Felicity's poignant backstory resonated with me deeply, having experienced similar trials. Logan Chance's delicate handling of her narrative is truly commendable.
This book was an irresistible page-turner for me, I finished it as fast as I could. It's a blend of humor, passion, and a whirlwind of emotions—a truly engaging read.
There is someting about Magnolia Ridge that will get you and not just the Atwoods. This little town has a way of coming to life and making you feel like really home. Love has come easily for the other Atwood brothers but Shepherd is one brother that is well a little hard to please in some cases. Logan Chance shows us a woman so frustrated with her neighbor and brokenhearted by an ex and a grumpy man who has no idea how to love his woman right. Two people so close together yet has a lot of ways to go to become one. Right away the chemistry is still there considering their one unforgettable night was cut short hotter than ever. Seeing Shepherd be a soon to be father and Felicity no idea what to do with her life seems like the perfect blend to come together. Not only do we see them form a bond no one saw coming we see the whole family come together in a way that Felicity has never experienced before with her mom. All in a ll this book fit so easily with the whole series and we still have two more brothers, yay in the series by Logan Chance. Loved it.
"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."
I am a huge fan of Logan Chance, so this rating is an anomaly for me. I was really looking forward to this book; I found it entertaining and would even recommend it, given it is an important part of a series and it is about the Atwoods, a family I usually love but who - in this book - were just too perfect. I found all of the characters and the story just too contrived and too saccharine for me this time around. The main issue is that I did not like Shepherd, he really rubbed me the wrong way from the very beginning. I found him overbearing throughout and I felt that his character was just too contrived and over the top. Who summarily throws away their neighbour's Christmas decorations like that, without any repercussions? That first scene felt forced, as did some others later on (I don't want to provide any spoilers here). This story and the relationship between the MCs fell flat for me, unfortunately. The FMC Felicity did not resonate with me, although I was happy to enjoy some of the characters from previous stories in this book. l have to say that I'm looking forward to the next book in the Magnolia Ridge series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is a standalone but an interconnected series, so if you want all the details and background stories, then read in order.
Shepherd is one of the Atwood boys and has light Felicity for quite some time. But, he knew he never had a chance with her as she is engaged to someone else. He lives next-door to Felicity and not only does he like her, he has to watch her deadbeat fiancé coming from her house, and every day that goes by Shepherd gets more and more agitated and grumpy.
Felicity lives next door to Shepherd and she has no idea why he is so inhospitable. She doesn’t engage with him often but today she has had enough. As she looks outside, all her Christmas decorations are gone and she can think of only 1 person that might know what happened to them. So she marches over to Shepherd’s house to find out he threw them away.
Without spoilers, you have to use your imagination and go read the book for further details. This was a very sweet, swoony read and I love the world that has been created. I look forward to many more Atwood stories.
Shepard is the grumpy neighbor, and he is a major grinch – he stole all of his neighbor’s Christmas decorations and piled them in his trash container. When Felicity sees what Shepard has done, she storms over to his house to give him a piece of her mind and get her decorations back. Soon they are face to face bickering, and while he is thinking how cute she is, Felicity is noticing how handsome Shepard is.
Felicity has just come off a bad relationship, jilted at the altar, and has been avoiding men. But when her best friend pushes her to bring a date to the office party, she ends up asking Shepard, who agrees. Things do not go as planned, as a kiss leads to so much more. And then Shep is gone for four months.
I love the Atwood family, and they went all out for Felicity and Shep, pushing them together. And as much as they felt for each other, it was hard to be the first to admit to the attraction. Shep was hilarious as he took over Felicity’s kitchen and started cooking healthy meals for her. I think he turned into my favorite Atwood.
I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest opinion.
Another Atwood family member has fallen in love. Shepherd lives next door to Felicity who just happens to irritate her. He finds her entertaining when she gets really mad at him & she sees him as a grumpy neighbor with little regard in being the good neighbor she's expecting. When her girlfriend insists Felicity come to the work Christmas party & to bring a date, she makes a deal with Shepherd to attend for the evening. With a surprise development after their one-night stand, they have their own misunderstandings that need to be worked out. Everyone else knows they are in love with each other before they do. The Atwood family members open their arms & hearts to welcome Felicity into their family which helps her to really see the softer, wonderful guy Shepherd really is.
This novel is worth reading as a quick read with all of the up & down’s this couple finds themselves going through. Love the text messages back & forth, the warmth of a small town & of the families also. Now, who will be the next brother to fall in love? Can’t wait until the next novel in the series.
I volunteered to read this ARC & leave an honest review.
Shepard is Felicity's grumpy next door neighbor. Having recently been left at the altar by her fiancé, everything Shepard does seems to make Felicity even madder. After a couple run-ins, Felicity finds herself in need of a date for her office Christmas party. At the party, their chemistry takes off and after a one night stand, Shepard disappears and shortly after Felicity finds herself pregnant. However, once Shepard returns he finds that Felicity is upset with him and appears to be back with her fiancé. Shortly after, finding out that Felicity is pregnant, and the math adds up that he is the father, he heads over to her house to have a chat. Both being so guarded with their feelings for each other, neither is comfortable enough to tell the other how they really feel, and decide to just be there for the baby. However, their friends and family keep telling them that they need to talk and figure things out, if not for themselves, but for the baby. I hated to put this book down wanting to see what was going to happen to make them confess their feelings!
This was a charming and entertaining read, I loved everything about this story!!
Shepherd and Felicity are not friendly neighbors on the contrary they can't tolerate each other but one Christmas party were Felicity needs a date to show her coworkers she has moved on from her ex will change Shepard and Felicity's lives forever. They spend the most wonderful night together but the next day Shepherd disappears with no explanation.
Two months later Shepherd is back next door being his grumpy old self while Felicity is trying to process life as a pregnant woman who doesn't know how to share the news with his not darling neighbor.
I just love the storyline and how protective Shepherd becomes of Felicity, every interaction is so well done. There are a little bumps on the rode BUT Shepherd is just so darling. When I found out why he was always so grumpy my heart melted for him. I loved everything about this story and I need to catch up with the rest of this series.

This is the first book of Logan's that I've read, and it was good. I love a good grump trope, and this one was good. I enjoyed following Sheppard and Felicity through their rollarcoaster of a relationship. This book made me laugh, with the craziness of Shep's big family. It made me cry a couple of times, too. I fell in love with just how sweet Shep really was and how much these two cared about each other, even when they were being impossible.
I know this is the third book in this series, but I didn't feel lost with the characters. Logan does a great job integrating the important information you need about the couple from the previous books. It was a nice transition, and I appreciate that. Not all authors can do that seamlessly.
All in all, this was an enjoyable, quick read. I will definitely be reading more of Logan's work and can't wait to see where the rest of this families stories go.
